No exam was done for pre-cancerous spots on my face, just immediately recommended a C02 procedure to help with sun damage and wrinkles. Never discussed any alternative treatments. Did not discuss downtime or any details about the recommended treatment. Concerns regarding hair loss were met with non-answers - everything was "depending on genetics". Beautiful office and amazing staff! I shopped around for a long time before deciding to come here. I visited the office on Tuesday afternoon to discuss the treatments performed on my face in 2022. They promised to provide me via email with an estimate of costs by Wednesday morning but it's Friday and I'm still waiting. They sent me a link for a review so allow me to share my experience. Jessica performed a light CO2 laser treatment on me nearly 2 years ago to help erase sunspots. I remember how much it hurt! I'm very sensitive to pain. After the treatment healed a significant sunspot remained on my right cheek. At my follow up appointment, Jessica applied additional laser work on the spot. Within an hour or so my cheek began to swell and discolor. I was burned! It was right before the holidays. I had to explain the spot to family and friends for weeks and months afterward. I shared photographs with Jessica and she called in a costly prescription to help fade the spot. It didn't help. I remember now how upset I was. I should not have gone back. But because they knew my situation it made sense to call them to possibly rectify my prior experience. I called Siera last week to find out what a new treatment would cost as I paid $599 a year and half ago. She said that a CO2 laser would cost nearly $3,000. How could the cost be so inflated? Siera said it's best to meet with Jessica in person to go over my past situation, costs, etc. which I agreed to. After meeting with Jessica to look over past photos, my burn mark and various treatments Siera told me that she would email me a cost sheet for Botox, chemical peel and a light CO2. We discussed pain relief options and a cream they sell that will help to prepare my skin for treatment. Before I left, Siera requested a $150 consultation fee! We never discussed that. I'm an existing client. The cream cost another $120. Siera told me that the consult fee can be applied to treatment. Surprised and not interested in arguing, I paid the money. When I got home I took the cream bottle out of my purse and it has no box, label or ingredients on it. It is unsealed. How do I know this Creme has not been used before? What's in it?? I am out $278.10 now with no plan of action. I included some photographs here on the spot treatment performed in 2022. Here is a photo of the bottle they gave me. Siera took it out of the refrigerator but told me that it does not need to be cooled. Should I go back? Should I ask for a refund? I'm very disappointed and confused. Be warned. read more

At a certain point, you realize that the cost per wear on something you wear 24/7 for months is quite reasonable and rewarding when done this well. Jessica is really patient and answered all my questions when I originally went there for my spots check. She created a plan for me based on my personal aesthetic goals because I requested it based on my terrible research in vogue and on youtube. She is extremely patient even though I always ask a lot of questions. I personally don't mind needles after years of vitamin IVs. And I really was there this time desperately seeking relief from Bruxism. We did the teeth grinding muscles and it helped my jaw to relax. My jaw started feeling completely different after the first few days and my ears started equalizing more and it was a huge relief from the constant nagging tension to my whole face and neck. The only way I can describe it is waking up with a bad headache for so many years that you think it is normal to feel like you slept in a vice tool. It is amazing to have relief after decades of suffering. At day four the way my jaw was settling at rest felt better. Kind of like it dropped. The process was not painful with numbing cream. I did kind of mess up and let my hair get in the numbing cream on one side so I felt that side more and would put my hair back next time instead of numbing my hair. On a whim, I added a lip flip and this was extremely outside of my comfort zone. The pain was not bad because the medical assistant put a ton of numbing on to make sure everything went smoothly for me. The results are insane. So subtle and beyond what I expected. No loss of top ridge no cartoony balloon look. Nothing too far out on to the ends of the top lip, no swag valance window drapery look, Just very slightly refreshed. Can't wait to try more things here! read more

They asked for my review so okay, I will begin by saying that I felt ripped off, I paid a lot of money to have 3 sylkfirm that Jessica recommended for better results, but in reality, there is little visible improvement on the skin, not worth the price. Recently my neighbor recommended a spa she goes where they do the same treatments for a lot less money. I should have shop around before. We didn't even get in to see a Dr. (Maybe it was a blessing!) Our experience started on a Friday when we called to schedule an appt. we were told the best way to book is online or by text. We went online and filled out the contact info.; keep in mind there is no place to make an appt. Monday, after a few emails back and forth, we confirmed an appt. time and accepted, only to be told it wasn't available. We were then given another time, which we took; we answered questions about insurance and would be seen the next day. Later in the afternoon, I got a text saying the appt. wasn't held because they didn't have a name or number, which they had via the online request and had just texted me to let me know the appt. wasn't available. This office is very unorganized and unavailable. This was an emergency situation, and I had explained that from the start of our communications, he had an open area done by Urgent Care and needed to be seen by a dermatologist ASAP. It was almost 4 pm when I learned I would need to find another place to send my husband. Thank goodness Newport Beach Dermatology was kind enough to fit him in and see him right away. I have tried a couple of other dermatologists in the area and now my search is over. I love everything about the people here and the way they run their business. First of all Sierra is the best! She's competent and sweet, informative and goes above and beyond to make me feel at ease. Jessica is a magnificent aesthetician. She's methodological, and thoughtful, she takes her time and takes her craft very seriously, but in a light hearted, fun way. She is VERY good at what she does. She takes photos each time so I can see the progress I'm making and makes sure she is mindful of what procedures and products will give me the best results possible for the least cost. She's Amazing! Do not go here for mole checks or skin cancer screenings! After a full body check I had the Dr tell me there was nothing to worry about. A month later I was still feeling unsure about one mole. I went to a different dermatologist in San Clemente, and they advised immediate removal and biopsy of not one but THREE moles. Two of which had irregular growth and were pre melanoma, had to be operated on to prevent something very serious from developing. Glad I went with my gut and got a second opinion. I'm sure this clinic does a great job with Botox and facials and aesthetic skin treatments. But if you're looking to get a potentially life saving mole check, go somewhere else. read more

I recently got botox and a TCA peel + filler for the first time after being referred to Jessica by a friend. She did not disappoint! I am blown away by my results. I had no idea how beneficial a peel could he for acne scars and pigmentation issues. It's incredible to see my skin look as soft and clear as it does now. I haven't felt this good about my skin in years. Jessica also knew the perfect amount of Botox and filler to use on me. Everything became enhanced but did not fully change features. My husband comes here every few months to get botox injections for his jaw clenching. Jessica is very gentle with my giant man-baby and does a great job injecting into the appropriate jaw muscles so that they are properly subdued and he can get some relief. Without her, we would be spending thousands at the dentist for his chipped teeth. On top of that their office manager, Siera, is incredibly friendly and professional. This has not been a good experience. Here's why... My wife Loree saw Dr. Goerig as a new patient to evaluate the back of her hands due to some changes and a concern about skin cancer. She made an appointment and was told the initial visit charge would be $150. When she checked in, prior to seeing the doctor, the front desk assistant Sierra gave her a verbal list of potential charges...a bit overwhelming given she hadn't even been seen yet and was already worried. After seeing the doctor, he suggested a biopsy of three areas on her left hand and the charge was an additional $1200. Initially, Loree was told a biopsy was $400 and upon checkout, was shocked at the bill. There was a lack of clear communication and specificity about each and every area incurring a $400 charge. We left feeling taken advantage of and subsequently complained. Dr. Goerig called to discuss the matter and promised he would give a discount on whatever procedure might be needed pending results from the lab. As it turned out, one of the three areas was cancerous. She went in for a second visit and had it removed at an additional cost of $926, from which a $150 discount was given. We were really taken aback not only by the minor discount, but by the clear lack of communication and clarity on the front end of our engagement with this doctor. In a way, it felt deceitful. After a few weeks, one of the three biopsied areas developed a hard lump and became painful. Loree once again saw Dr. Goerig, who was alarmed and concerned that the area developed cancer after the biopsy. The lab report came back negative for cancer in that area initially. Dr. Goerig consulted with a skin cancer specialist and surgeon, Dr. Adam Rotunda in Newport Beach and referred her for further treatment. We were highly impressed by Dr. Rotunda. He examined the area and in one visit, confirmed it was in fact cancerous, removed it surgically, and confirmed the area was now clear. Dr. Rotunda has his own lab on site. The total cost was $511. This, after paying $2,126 to Dr. Goerig. His lab results that initially said she was negative for cancer subsequently turned cancerous as a result of the biopsy itself. There is interpretation and judgement involved in the lab results, and while I can't make a clear statement that Dr. Goerig did something wrong, the overall experience was uncomfortable, odd, expensive, and painful. Interpret this review as you will. We are dissatisfied about the level of care with this doctor and the office protocol for communicating clearly with patients about the cost of their care. It was not a good experience. If you have a concern about skin cancer, head straight to Dr. Rotunda. read more

I have been thinking about getting lip filler for a while now but didn't want to take the huge leap just yet. I got a "lip flip" which is Botox in your upper lip for a first step and I LOVE it! My top lip doesn't disappear when I smile like it usually does. Jess is so nice and welcoming! I was recently seen for the first time by Dr. Goerig and his P.A. Jessica. I have been treated my many physicians and was extremely impressed with them. They are very personable and delightful people. They took a few minutes to get to know me since I was a new patient and were very thorough with their explanation of the diagnosis and treatment.
