Horrible service never come here again. They don't close untill 7 and I get there at 6:30 and the guy starts whining about it being too hot and that he's been there all day, I mean that is your job is it not also that the car he's doing at the moment is the last one. I even told him I'd pay double and he said and I quote "I don't care it's like 100 degrees and I'm tired I'm going home" oh well I guess he hates money. Either way he approached it horribly and could have said it differently. Never coming back there and I hope no one else has to deal with that. If you're too hot and tired to do the job you're required to do then quit and find an office job. You're literally under a shed with fans how hot and tired could you possibly be. Wow! What great service! I went to the vehicle emission station on Piedmont Rd. In Atlanta. Leonard is congenial AND capable. He got my test done in no time and even alerted me that I could finish my vehicle registration at the Kroger next door which I proceeded to do immediately. I been going to this location for 5 years now. The guy on left side is friendly and knowledgeable. The guy on the right is knowledgeable as he gets straight to the point. Nevertheless both guys are great. If the line is too long be patient and wait your turn and keep your rude attitude towards yourself. I've been visiting this location for many years now but this year was different. Yesterday I stopped by to have my car tested. Not sure how but the malfunction (check engine) light activated during and I failed the test. Dekra will allow you another test, free within 30 days so I asked if we could try again and the second attempt was successful. So, if you've not had any check engine notifications before and suddenly fail because of one, try to initiate another test before you go. read more

Marks birthday is in two weeks so I knew we had to hurry up and get both cars tested ASAP. This place is near Northlake Mall where I feed stray cats every weekend so it was convenient and on my way. I sucked up the $25 fee for both cars because I had the cats and other errands nearby. Other places only charge $16 but are closed on Sunday and I wanted to hurry up and get this completed. The attendant was not friendly. No greeting. Just told to get out of the car and let him drive it on the ramp. When he finished he yelled over the machine for my credit card. Same experience when I returned with the second car. They have a nice covered waiting area with a fan. Find another less expensive place if you can. The other surrounding test places have friendly service and lower prices. read more

I took my beautiful little Cayman S baby there for emission test. I got brusque treatment not polite at first, then more directions. Then dude idiot put equipment on pristine paint, I said get the damn thing off my car it will scratch. He says "it's plastic won't scratch a thing" that's it I told him forget it, I'm leaving. He said no, I owe him $25 for starting test. I said not paying you a damn thing. He was standing in the car doorway. I said get out of the way I'm leaving. He said not til you pay $25 you're not. He would not move his very large fat self and allow me- 5'6" 69 year old woman to leave in my own car. I threatened to call cops. Finally moves his asshole self and I left. Total bully and jerk. we have used this location since we moved near Northlake. the guy is very courteous, friendly and open to answering any relatable questions. at this point, he is the one I want always to do my emissions. also for the person upset with $25 charge....count your blessings you don't live in Virginia and many, many other states that demand yearly inspections that entire car is running efficiently. read more

We (my boyfriend, and several of his friends) come here every year for our emissions. It's quick, this super friendly guy has a covered place to sit and wait (if there is a line of cars), there's a fan and a SMALL space inside if it's freezing. I can't think of anything that would make an emissions place not good, or exceptionally better, but We keep coming back because we know we can rely on this guy to be here and no surprises, if there could be any ever... ha. read more

I was annoyed that it cost so much ($25) and it's not even right next to a tag office, but they are open long hours and I had already gone to two places that Saturday morning that were advertised as being open and were not. This was my third try and I pulled right up and in, the attendant was wearing a mask, did the emissions check and I paid and was on my way. Been going here for years because it's out of the way and never crowded, but yesterday my wife took one of our vehicles here to have it inspected. The heavy-set guy that has worked there for the last few years told her the wiper blades needed to be replaced. My wife didn't know that I'd done it myself just a few weeks ago. The wiper blades he put on were a lower quality than the almost brand new ones he took off. Won't be going back. read more
