Saw the sign across the lot for this restaurant supply store while we were about to leave the Ace Mart Restaurant Supply store. We decided to pop in & have a look. I saw higher end cookware like Lodge & even found a sturdy, well-made gold mesh sieve/strainer. Ours broke where the handle just came off & separated so we were looking for one with better construction. The store isn't as big as Ace Mart but it is well organized, bright, the red signage above the aisles was highly visible, detailed & seems like some higher-end gourmet-cooking tools. Some things you can find are Bain Marie's, ladles, tongs, large pots, knives, cutting boards,,pizza cutters, huge 24" oven mitts & even shelving. The employees were helpful & friendly. They even offered us bottled water if we wanted any after we checked out at the cash register! There's a smaller parking lot where you can enter the store. Terrible customer support! I called to see what filter I needed for my ice machine. I went all the way downtown to buy them. Turns out they were the wrong ones and when I went to return them they would not take them back! Do yourself a favor and go to Ace. read more

Mission restaurant supply has never failed to meet my high expectations for the best supply quality around town. Iv recommended many business colleagues & without a doubt they were very satisfied & pleased at mission supply they are now frequent customers. I find it very Difficult to believe or ignore the review about the staff members intoxicated while working or not dressed to the customers approval ! I had been on a run for the company this exact Saturday which (daisy.H) is claiming to have gone to Mission supply and received bad customer service by the young ladies that were present that day! It's so horrible that people like you can lie about nonsense and it hurt the reputation of a business , the business owners and their staff , it makes no sense ! This is coming from a business owner myself. I happen to be there the same day you're "claiming" staff was intoxicated and gave bad customer service. This is ugly in so many ways how you are lying ! I asked to speak to a sales manager "the same day you're claiming you did" && I remember clear as day , THERE WAS NO SALES MANAGER WORKING THAT SATURDAY AT ALL. I'm 100% sure any manager could validate everything I'm saying.The two young ladies that helped me did not look the way you wrongfully and horribly describe them and the customer service they provided. They were both dressed very nice both very good attitudes and the one you are down shaming actually helped me. She was very competent and knowledgeable of the companies product and inventory she offered to show me . If there was a problem that day it would have to be the first young lady when you walk in with her earphones on , that's completely rude speaking from an owners perspective . I have been in Mission Restaurant Supply customer for many years purchasing probably at least 60 refrigerators and freezers. Recently, since Covid things have changed. I lost my salesman who decided to get out of the business. Recently I was told that I couldn't use my salesman without paying for liftgate service which used to be included. We got that ironed out and now they come back and say they want to charge me a 3% transaction fee for using a credit card which they do not discuss that on their Internet sites anywhere. So I really feel like you're trying to squeeze extra money out of me one way or another. I just asked yesterday if they would consider waiving the service fee on five units that I just quoted. The same as Ace Mart, but Mission Restaurant Supply is more home friendly. Just about everything they sell at Mission Restaurant Supply has a home non-commercial version of it. With the home kitchen friendly supply also comes cheaper prices. Mission hasd some nice looking dishes too that would make my home cooked meals look like a million bucks. The one thing I think that Ace Mart has over Mission is the free popcorn, nachos, or Icees I gotta have those free things. I also thought that Mission was smaller than Ace Mart, and has a strange small parking lot. But overall I can't dog Mission Restaurant Supply it does offer somethings I need and wish I had. After an entire summer of freezer problems in my business, I found Mission Restaurant Supply online. I called Mission RS and asked for the price of their web special freezer. They do not list prices on everything and so I called for the price of their web special freezer. I was given a price. After discussing it with my husband I called back, said I had just talked to someone about their web special freezer and was interested in purchasing it. I was then given a different price, one that was lower than the first. I questioned it but was not given a full reason other than some alluding to a "discount". When shipping failed to deliver on the date they supplied me with I contacted UPS Freight and made sure they knew that I had purchased frozen foods and ice creams based on their delivery date (I expected my delivery of frozen product the day after the reported delivery of the freezer). One day late it was delivered. Documentation had the words Freezer/Refrigerator on it but I just assumed it was a generic manual and we placed it and plugged it in. By morning we realized that they did not send us a freezer but rather a refrigerator. When we called to explain the situation Mission refused to help fix the situation in any way. They quoted a non-existent policy they claimed to have stating that once the equipment was "plugged in" that it was non-returnable. This is not mentioned anywhere in their posted return policy. At that time I was willing to work with them and after finding out that I wasn't even quoted the freezer price, I was willing to discuss an exchange and pay the difference but Mission would not budge from their stance that they would not work with us in any way. In our complaint with both the Better Business Bureau and our credit card company, they claimed that I read off a product number and that I had asked about the refrigerator. After a summer of freezer problems there is no way I asked about a refrigerator and the page I was looking at which showed multiple units did not even contain any sort of product number. UPS Freight has in their case notes that I was concerned about the late delivery due to my order of frozen product. And I'll re-iterate; the policy I was quoted is not listed anywhere on their own website in their return policy section. This multi-million dollar large business refused to work with me and my small, family run business that is just trying to keep it's head above water. I am stuck with a product that I did not order.
