HOWEVER, there are a few things that really stand out. First of all, I commend and admire the original planners and VISIONARIES who planned this Greenway; you can see the marvelous INTENT for this Greenway. But now, it looks like these places have been just plain neglected for a long, long time - years: weeds everywhere, LITTER EVERYWHERE, chipped paint and worn stucco, dead/sick/dying trees and shrubs everywhere. Not to be mean or dramatic, but I kept thinking this is what it would look like in the AFTERMATH of a natural disaster. Looks like there are numerous Community organizing efforts to upkeep the Greenway, but it is not enough - Parks and Rec needs to step in with professional gardening services, or close it down. One location, the Agricultural Garden's exit was locked. Happily a neighbor was working in the Garden and opened the lock for me to get out. I see that neighbors walk through the Greenway in mid-day because it was so beautifully fashioned originally. This was a truly a marvelous effort to restore the neighborhood, but it looks like the City is just not cleaning the streets - at all. Neglect, neglect, neglect of a wonderful Greenway.

They made the entire planning process feel effortless. The entire staff working on the day of the party was absolutely amazing. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything went perfectly. My daughter had an absolute blast, and so did all of her friends. The facility is clean, welcoming, affordable, and conveniently located. It's also thoughtfully designed for little ones of all abilities, and I really appreciated that non-walking babies are not charged. What truly sets Little Oceanauts apart is their exceptional service. They help unload everything from your car when you arrive, assist with setting up, decorate (using your decorations or some of theirs), and take care of all the cleanup afterward. They even pack up your belongings so neatly that it looks like they were never used! When the party is over, they have leftovers, drinks, and refreshments packed and ready for guests to take home. They truly think of everything, allowing parents to actually enjoy the celebration instead of worrying about all the details. I honestly can't say enough good things about Little Oceanauts. They exceeded every expectation and made the entire experience completely stress-free. They have earned every one of these five stars, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an unforgettable birthday party experience!

During the first day of a holiday camp, the front door was unfortunately vandalized. Not their fault! Was is in their control is how they handled it. 1. We received no communication about the incident until we arrived for drop off. They should have sent an email as soon as they discovered the vandalism so we don't show up in person! 2. When I did arrive for drop off, I asked about the status of the glass replacement, code compliance, and timing for completion. The questions I asked were reasonable and directly tied to safety and planning as a working parent. Instead of receiving clear information or empathy, I was met with condescension and a dismissive attitude. At no point was there acknowledgment of the very real constraints families are navigating--jobs, schedules, and the need for reliable, high-quality educational programs like the ones Stemful provides. The conversation centered almost entirely on David's personal stress in managing the situation, rather than on transparent communication with parents who are impacted by it. He essentially told me to go away and stop asking questions. 3. When I called back later to inquire about the status of the glass, he doubled down on his attitude, said "aren't you the person that was here before?" and demanded the name of my camper so we can "get this taken care of". It was incredibly threatening in language and tone and I didn't even feel comfortable giving my child's name. While we eventually got a refund, I'm not confident that me or my camper will be treated with respect and care in David's presence.

The train ride is less than 10 minutes with no cover so we brought our hats. It's a quick ride and you pass by the parking lot and a park. My girls enjoyed it. After we played by the nearby park. They were just starting the grill to cook the food for lunch but our girls were hungry so we left to get food elsewhere.

This new location has a lot of great new tools and supplies for arts & crafts projects. It's an informal drop-in location that allows kids to discover, explore, and be hands-on with science experiments, small animals, or crafts/woodworking. The knowledgeable staff usually provides a couple of self starter, pre-configured fun projects at every session. Some past project examples have included sewing projects, building 9-volt battery based electrical circuits with switches, motors, & lights, dissecting a pig's heart, woodworking projects, and making mosaic designs with glass & mirrors. This is where I take my kid to make a safe, fun, and educational mess!
