I don't usually come to this Mr. Car Wash location on 1960 Atascosita since I live in New Caney, TX, and normally go to the Valley Ranch location. I stopped by this one on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026, around 5:15-5:30 PM to wash my truck. The wash itself was fine, nothing special, but the customer service stood out in a negative way. As I was exiting, I noticed what appeared to be the regional manager (I believe his name is Julio Ortega) and another manager standing by the driveway talking. The regional manager waved at the truck in front of me, but when I passed by, there was no acknowledgment at all. It may seem small, but if you're going to greet customers, it should be consistent--either wave to everyone or don't do it at all. That kind of inconsistency comes off as poor customer service. I go to this location about twice a week to get my vehicle washed. It's pretty close to where I live and is also convenient to get there (straight down 1960 heading towards Atascocita). The employees are knowledgeable about their product and even sold me on why it's better to get the $30.00 monthly membership. I didn't plan on it but the way they sold it to me, I couldn't resist. So here I am with a monthly membership and I'm content with my decision. They offer free car vacuum with a wash which is a must if I'm going to have any car wash membership. The only thing I didn't like about this business is they don't have the high pressure air to clean between your seats or coasters which really make a difference. I'm fine for now but in the future, I may look elsewhere for a different car wash place that offers that. read more

While driving to Humble one day, I noticed a brand new Mister Car Wash and vowed to stop by and check it when Texas got tired of dropping spontaneous rain showers and storms. Of course, it rained the day I decided to wash my car! However, I got my $5 worth. I will warn you that this MCW is not like the traditional ones you may have went to in the past. For one, payment is made via machine (cash or credit card). You may still use MCW coupons from the internet-- just scan it before your payment. There are two of these al la carte lanes as well as one speed pass lane for those who have purchased the unlimited washes. HOWEVER, there is only ONE washer, so you may have to do some waiting before you go through the washer. For those who just drop by and see if they can get a quick wash, the wait is understandable, but those who pay that $19.99 a month for unlimited washes, a speed pass to wait doesn't intrigue me. This is where this particular MCW lost a star from my perspective. Additionally, MCW fans will be disappointed that there is no lobby, so free popcorn while you wait and public restrooms (at least I couldn't see any). are not available. When you come to this MCW, your focus is to get your car washed and burn a few calories vacuuming your car out (at least that what I do when I clean my car). You drive your own car into the washer (I kind of prefer that anyway) while someone directs you onto the conveyor belt. Even with the express wash, the MCW crew member will brush your windows off to get any extra gunk off (That's all I needed)! Once you're directed to "Go," the free vacs are located on the other side of the washer. There are two sides--one for big vehicles such as trucks and SUVs (only 4 of these) and about ten for average size vehicles. Before I even started to vacuum, I was about to wipe off the excess water from the car, but there was hardly any to wipe off. The dryer is really powerful here and made that a non factor. Gave me more time to detail my tires, which were actually pretty clean as well. On to the vacuuming, which was so easy because the vacs have power and are long! Without moving my car, I was able to vacuum out the trunk of my car. The perfectionist in me took advantage of this feature and cleaned every crevice of my car with ease and satisfaction. Ironically, raindrops started to fall as soon as I had finished my detailing, but I was extremely satisfied with the results and experience before it rained. The unfortunate reality is that MCW eliminated ALOT of jobs with this new concept, but at the same token, I like cleaning out my car and saving a little money at the same time. The car wash itself will sometimes stop in the middle of it cleaning your car, which has happened to many times I got used to it. The vacuums are okay, they need a more suctioning power. But the main thing is that I noticed that after getting car washes my breaks would make an ugly noise... it would stop after a while but now it does it almost all the time. I thought it was just my car but it was this car wash. I will cancel my membership and never go to this or any car wash again. read more

I now have scratches and scuff marks all on my new car! I would not recommend this place even for a quick car wash. I had to drive my car back through the car wash and a different man helped me from the first time I went through and basically called me a liar, telling me that their car wash did not scuff and scratch my car because they have soft cloths on their machine when I'm clearly looking at all of the new scratches and scuffs on my car while vacuuming it out. I appreciate you allowing me to go back through the car wash to actually rinse my car off of soap that should have been rinsed off the first time but what I don't appreciate is being called a liar when I'm clearly looking and showing him the damages caused to my car from this car wash. My car was filthy so I asked if i could get a rinse first. Guy squirted his hose a little. There was still dirt on my hood and my grill looked like it wasn't washed at all. This has happened the last few times I've gone there. Have they changed their machines? Why don't they brush your hood and windshield before going into car wash? read more

I was just attempting to find pricing for a car wash. You get routed all around and they say check the website - I did and that's why I'm calling - no pricing on the website for a simple car wash. I don't want a monthly plan, just a simple price of a car wash, is their price so exorbitant they are embarrassed to put it on their website?? I purchased the Platinum Unlimited package while I was in Lubbock for a couple of months helping a sick relative. When I got back home, I made my way over to the Humble location to check out the service close to home. Here's what I found in Humble: 1) The Platinum Unlimited package in Humble was twice the rate of the same package in Lubbock ($59.99/month vs $29.99/month). 2) The Humble location didn't even pre-treat my car for the bugs on my grill and mirror like they do in Lubbock. 3) The Humble location didn't offer to tape down my back wiper like they do in Lubbock. 4) There weren't any employees at the end of the wash to finish drying off the car and windows like in Lubbock. 5) The other nice reason for the guys at the end is they get the obvious dirt off where the brushes miss. So my recommendation is spend the extra money and go across the street where they'll also vacuum and wash your windows inside for you! read more

This car wash was fantastic, unfortunately a few things have changed. The Premium car wash doesn't include armor all or some sort leather cleaner. This is the third time that I've been here and the last two times when I got home noticed that the car had water spots, the leather interior looked like it was vacuumed and that's it. Today, I decided to give them a last chance and the results were worse than the previous two times. Same water spots, interior vacuumed but the exterior side panels had some sort of stain like greese and wasn't cleaned in their final wipe down. I came back a young lady promised to get her supervisor to make the car right but so far it's been 20 minutes and no one has even gotten close to the car. If I could give a lower rating then I would. I came in one day after work and by the time they got to my car the sun had set so when it was complete I couldn't really do an inspection on the job they did, I was hesistant to leave because they were rushing all the cars out so I knew there was no way they were paying attention to details. The next day I noticed there was still dirt all over my car. Dirty steamy window and still debris on the floor. I even noticed that they didn't even bother putting my floor mats back down in my back seat, they were just thrown over the floor. I was pissed. Paying $40 + tip for my car to be just rinsed off. Complete waste of time and money. I called two days in a row...no response. That was my first and last time going to Mister Car Wash. To begin- the gentleman at the pay terminal was rude and spoke to me as if I was dumb. I bought the $20 premium wash. Then after I'm out of the wash I literally have to go over all my windows because they were still dirty and had water stains on them. There were copious amounts of dirt still all over my car. This place is best for those who sign up for their unlimited washes. The vacuums work really well, and they offer fresheners to buy and a machine to clean your mats. This place is not ideal for those who have super stuck on muck on their cars. Go here if you get your car washed often or as soon as your car is dirtied. read more

This past Wednesday was my first time to visit this location, and will be my last. When I pull up I ask the guy which package will include vinyl treatment for interior, and exterior. He tells me which package. I then asked if that included windows, and interior cleaned. He assured me it did. Finally I asked if it included a wax. He said that it did. Great no problem so I go in to pay, and I ask the lady inside about the package she said it did not include a wax (as i was told outside). So i asked how much a hand wax would cost. She told me it would be an additional $ 30.00. Okay no problem go ahead, and do it. My vehicle is pulled out of the wash, and left sitting for over an hour by the detailing stalla before being touched which caused water spotting. I was not terribly worried about that because the hand wax would take care of this. When they waxed my vehicle, and cleaned the windows, and interior this is where I have a problem there was wax left on the the entire roof that was not wiped off, there was wax peft on my doors, my hood and they for some reason put wax on vinyl not sure what this place is thinking, but you do NOT put wax on vinly. My next issue they say they cleaned my windows. The windows were not cleaned, and still had smudges on them after they were "cleaned". Finally you tell me you cleaned the interior.. not hardly there was dust on the dash that you said you cleaned.. I was able to wipe it off with a finger, but yet it's as if you got lazy, and did not do what the customer paid for you to do. Service gets worse every time I come here. The last 4 times, I have had to ask someone to clean/dust the most obvious things. The laziness is out of this world. If I can get in my car and run my hand along the dash and collect dust, after purchasing a "platinum wash" for over $30.. this is a problem. I drive a black challenger and I enjoy a clean car and will usually pay the extra money for a better wash/quality service. This is the equivalent to a going thru a gas station wash for $5 and vacuuming it my self. I let the first few times slide, but it's obvious this is the level of service they provide. I won't be coming back. And I will be sure anyone I talk to won't either. read more
