You get what you pay for. Every time I come here, the workers are super friendly. Yes - they give you the spiel to join their car wash program, but they're not pushy and won't convince you any further if you say no. This is why I come here. I get so uncomfortable when other car wash places keep pushing you for the program. Down side is that you can't clean the interior of your car. I went on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 (Noon to 12:19pm). I drove from Maitland to Lake Mary because this is the location closest to me that offers interior and additional external cleaning services. It was my first time as this location. Normally, I'd go to Sweetwater Car Wash in Apopka next to the Wawa yet it isn't a Sweetwater any more nor does it still offer interior cleaning services. I received good customer service from the two gentlemen that scanned me in. When I drove around to receive the interior and additional exterior services, a ticket didn't print at check-in, and they had to confirm with the two original gentlemen. Once confirmed, I went inside to send a few emails. The waiting area is really nice. The additional services happened in no time. Because I was rushing to get on the other side of town, I didn't review the work as I normally would. While every was nice and I appreciated the fast service, I didn't appreciate the mediocre interior and external services. I'm willing to try them one more time and ensure a receipt ticket is provided to me. I'll also check to ensure the services of which I paid are completed. The parts they vacuumed and cleaned were great. That's what made the areas they didn't do noticeable. Because the services and team members weren't bad - and because offering interior services is less available across Central Florida -, I'm willing to try them again. read more

I visited Mister car wash in Lake Mary, Florida, for a one-time car wash in January 2026 and paid$35. The wash itself was average and not worth the price. Later, I discovered they had continued charging my credit card $35 every month without my knowledge or authorization I never signed up for a membership or recurring service, and nothing was clearly explained to me.When I went back to speak with the manager, I was only given phone numbers that either did not work or never answered. Terrible waste of time and money. They spent under 5 minutes "detailing" my interior. When I got to my car, I pointed out the center console and dash wasnt even cleaned. The guy rushed and wiped it down. then I noticed the door panels weren't cleaned, I asked him to correct that. I ended up just accepting it bc i didn't want to have to stand there and tell them the obvious mistakes that werent done. I spent 45.00 and it's not clean, inside or out. they need to retrain the staff, and get better product. very disappointing read more

I don't typically expect an exceptional car wash from Mister Car Wash, especially since they've shifted to a membership-based approach. With that in mind, I've learned to keep my expectations in check. After Hurricane Milton, my car had been through the wringer driven through deep puddles of flooded streets, covered in bugs, and leaves everywhere, so I needed a quick wash to get it back in decent shape. Since I just don't have the time to do it myself. Could the wash have been better? Absolutely. But did it get the job done? For me YES! They did an okay job on the tires, however the windows and carpet were perfect, but My cup holders were still dirty, again it wasn't close to a detailed clean. But to be fair, I didn't expect it to be of especially since this is probably the busiest car wash spots in the area. If you're in a rush and need a quick, decent wash, Mister Car Wash will do the trick. But if you're looking for a full-on detail, well, as the saying goes: "You get what you pay for." This was undoubtedly the worst car wash experience I've ever had. The staff was rude and seemed disinterested in their work. I paid extra for a rims and tire wash and even tipped the crew, but my tires were never cleaned, and the crew didn't show up. So, I ended up paying more and tipping for a service I never received. To top it off, one side of the car wash didn't even touch my vehicle, leaving it still dirty. I also wanted to get my car vacuumed, but when I asked, the guy quoted me $22. Why would I pay that when I can vacuum it myself for just $1.50? It feels like a scam. read more

Very disappointing! I paid for the Titanium Interior. Then I even tipped the employees before seeing my car. I had to ask that the cup holders be wiped out again. Car wash with option of ext or int plus ext. I did the latter. They offer did service and levels I did just above basic. They also have a monthly plan that would save money overall. Only one vehicle though they should offer a family plan. Not that'll be dope. lol. Good bang for the buck. The didn't vacuum the back of my explorer and they didn't wipe down the dash etc inside the front. ( granddaughters hand prints still on the passenger dash ) and the radio etc was still covered in dust. I don't expect the detail of paying them $150 for a real detail cleaning but cmon not opening the back to vacuum or wiping down the interior. Did you really think this goes unnoticed? This place is absolutely horrendous. For the last 5 visits, I haven't even been able to get my car cleaned because it has been at minimum a thirty minute wait. 30 minutes not even to get a wash, just to get to the vacuum area. Today the manager didn't even offer an apology for waiting 30min, she just refunded me. When I arrived, there was no line, so I thought I'd be in and out quickly. 30 minutes went by and I came out, and there were now 7 cars in front of mine. There is never an apology for the time wasted. They definitely have a labor issue, which I understand, however, this is not an efficient business. If you have an hour to spare, try it out. I had just driven 2100 miles from Las Vegas and pulled into the Lake Mary location. As you can imagine, my front end was covered in bugs. I asked the greeter what packages they had and I wanted to be sure that the bugs and my wheels got taken care of. Apparently even the top level basic wash at $36 doesn't cover bug removal. The greeter told me they really don't remove bugs anymore. So I'd pay you $36 and still leave with a dirty car? He says yes. But he can upgrade me to a detail and he said that "we can probably get about 80% of the bugs off with that". I only get 80% of my bugs off but I'm sure they want 100% of my money. I told the greeter that what he was trying to sell me was absolutely ridiculous and he got all huffy and irritated. I turned around and left. I went down the street to 17-92 to a place called Squeekys Car Wash and they did everything I wanted for $10. Avoid this place at all costs. This place has a lot of bad reviews. I would say I like this place because they have a monthly all-you-can-wash program. It's 18.99 plus tax, so roughly $21 for me to come by any time and get the exterior washed. I can easily upgrade to an interior cleaning as needed. I appreciate the guys at the beginning of the tunnel, spraying the dirty spots before the wash and the guys at the end of the tunnel, drying off the windows and mirrors. Sure, they're not there all the time and they miss a couple spots, but it's a great deal and I get my money's worth coming 3 times a month! They're open every single day, albeit with limited hours on weekends, so there's no excuse for a dirty car! read more

I'm really glad my default answer is no. I don't see this being any better than a gas station. If I visit here again. I'll be like the other driver in front of me. Mt Dora Location. Id give this place zero stars if i could. They purchased what was previously " mt dora carwash " and essentially ruined it. Raised prices considerably, no pre-wash, no rain rewashes, no sense of community and no longer participates in local school fund raising. Full service option has been closed for months. Incase your not familiar with carwash operations, no prewash means your getting your car washed with all the dirt on the wraps from previous vehicles. Lots of scratches in your paint. If your drive a nice vehicle do not take it here. Really miss the previous management as the new management seems very greedy and no fks given about the quality being provided to the customer. Way less staff on hand as well. My family will not support this lousy carwash and have gone else where. read more

This location is on the best location it's probably the worst. I recommend the one in Sanford is 10 times better. They should spray your car down before but they don't always. I had a conversation with the manager. The blowers are absolutely pointless it is not give it back into any car at all. Mister car wash should spray your car with the bug spray and scrub your car down before you even go in usually have to ask but if they do it every time for any car they will get more customers. Every other car wash does this. Otherwise The cleaning service is OK the outside of the car looks pretty good every time I go through. That location in Sanford is longer and does a better overall job. They should start using a belt system so all four tires can be a one conveyor belt. I purchased the "Ultimate Wash" for $20, with the extra attention on the wheels with the package I thought that my wheels would be clean coming out of the wash. I went back to get another wash to finish the poor job that was executed and I was told they would not run my car through and that I should purchase the interior detail where they would clean my wheels as well. My car does not need its interior detailed. I just want clean wheels. On top of the wheels I still had bugs that were not washed off by the service. I use another business in another state and I have never had any issues with dirty/spotty cleaned rims/wheels. And they also let you back through if your vehicle was not properly cleaned. They harass you to try and get you to do a membership instead of letting you pick your own wash when you drive up then they ask for a gratuity for doing absolutely nothing but harassing you to get a membership. Went from Top Dog to Mister on Alafaya and 50. Increased prices, took away the towels. I got the 2nd to highest wash and no prespray nothing.
