I am a little biased because I love Misters. I love the monthly unlimited carwashes. So convenient. My husband came here once and the tracks got stuck and pushed a car into his truck. There was no damage but it was pretty annoying to have your vehicle damaged. The employees gave us a bunch of free coupons for car washes. It didn't really matter because we had the unlimited wash subscription. Either way, it was nice that management provided us with a remedy. Either way, the price for the subscription is great especially compared to other locations. The line goes pretty fast and I try to go at times when there aren't too many people. Having the unlimited subscription is convenient. But it's difficult to cancel. Well worth the money. read more

Went to get my truck washed today in OAKDALE. After going through the wash, the entire top- I'm talking trunk, top and hood were just as dirty as before going in. Turns out the top rollers aren't working. In fact, they have them tied up so they don't come down. When I complained theysaid run it through again. I replied, "That won't work the top rollers don't work!" "It will be much better," she said. Guess what? It wasn't. I complained again asking why they didn't shut down. "Oh, we can't do that, just because the rollers don't work." So they would rather give everyone half a car wash? A manager came over and begrudgingly gave a free wash for after the roller are fixed in two or three days. By the way, she shared it's alredy been broken for two days! read more

Great friendly staff here in Oakdale. This location is one of the cleanest ones I've visited. The car wash itself is ok.

This location gets negative stars. I'll start with the unpatriotic attitude, why do you even have a flag pole if you NEVER fly the flag? Then there's the vacuums. They're ALWAYS clogged. Next we have the non-members CONSTANTLY in the unlimited lane, making an already LONG wait for a mediocre at best wash EVEN longer. They even REMOVED some of the vacuums and changed that area to "employee parking only". This location closes regularly due to "technical difficulties" The newer location on Claribel in Riverbank is a slightly better option, compared to this disaster. We actually had a pretty solid experience with their automatic car wash today. It was only 8 dollars and there was no line. There was a helpful staff member to remind us to put the car into neutral and we were in and out in no time. It was by no means a superb wash - but it was perfect for what we needed and our car looked much better after a quick clean here. If you're looking for a thorough car wash - there are probably much better spots - but if you're looking for a superficial clean to get some of the surface grime off your car - this place works. I used the car wash and damage was done on the hood of our truck and windshield. After exiting the car wash I noticed gouges on the hood and windshield. After the spinning brush there are some things hanging down that slide over the vehicle going back and forth as it goes over your car. I contacted the store manager immediately and she claimed that their car wash doesn't do those types of scratches. I told her the things that hang after the spinning brush make those exact movements over the vehicle. She took some pictures and filed a report within their company. She said their general manager would get back to me. I didn't hear back from the GM within 24 hours so I sent her an email. She said the pictures I sent were way better than the Store managers but she didn't think those gouges were the pattern that it leaves when damage is done. I replied that this is exactly how the things hanging down move over the vehicle. She wanted to see it in person so we set up a day for me to bring it over. As soon as we met she again immediately claimed that this is not the patterns. She then showed me the video of my truck going through the car wash and I pointed out the things hanging down after the spinning brushes made the exact movement over the top of the truck consistent with the scratches. She told me I could go higher up and contact their corporate offices. Which I have done and waiting for a response. I was disappointed on how they were so quick to not claim ownership of the damage and to say it wasn't them when it clearly matched the way the equipment goes over the vehicles. I went into their business with a slightly dirty car and came out with a damaged vehicle. I am very disappointed that I have had to try to fight so hard and contact so many different people to get this resolved. read more

This place is absolutely awful...and they know it!!! Went through twice and my car was filthy and covered in soap. I asked for a refund and was told "oh you can drive through as many times as you want". I don't have all day to drive through the car wash. The staff then admitted "our brushes don't really work and we can't get a technician out". Glad Mister is still happy to stay open and charge full price! I was given a free wash and told that the Riverbank location was "better". I got there and staff there admitted it was "better but not great". I went through a THIRD time and my car was still dirty on the back, soap covered and it nearly snapped my front license plate. This place needs to be out of business NOW!! read more

It's tough to write this, but I feel I need to. First, as for your staff, most of them are courteous and nice, professional but NOT ALL. Second, I love the hours and convenience. However, I feel the business owner is getting over here. There are plenty of cars coming through there when I'm there and I'm there at least twice a week (2 vehicles). I am always having to bring my own tire dressing, bug spray, and additional cleaning products. I believe in conservation and your establishment does that with the water. Although I have the Titanium package for both I've had to go through a couple of times several times, to no avail. THE DRYER at the end is the ABSOLUTE worst. The brushes are trash. I had to have my 100k truck refinished that cost me 2k because of scratches from this location. I wasn't going to waste my time with your ineffective complaint service because there's no claims department to speak of (allegedly ). But I knew the risks. When buying my newest car, I had the finish added to prevent the scratching so easily and to because I need to keep it clean, obviously. I have been using this particular Mister's for about 2 years. When I'm not so busy, I'll skip it and go to Riverbank, the one Closest to Home Depot. I know for a fact that they have there brushes replaced more frequently. I believe in second chances, in this case of 2 years worth, but I'm willing to forgive and forget but my patience are thin at this point. YOUR BRUSHES ARE RUINING CARS! The attendants are courteous and friendly and the wash is decent. The biggest problems are the vacuums. Almost every time I go, at least one of the vacuums doesn't work properly. If there is no improvement, I'll just drop my unlimited wash contract and go elsewhere. Too frustrating. read more

Just went through the car wash 3 times and still have a bug splattered windshield and front end. How sad!! This car was has gone extremely downhill since it was Prime Shine. Man this has been a crazy week. Saturday I was in my car in Oakdale and got rear ended in the Mister Car Wash on 108 it was a 4 car Pyle up. They had us all come out and exchange info. They said some one would call us from there on Monday to tell us what the cameras showed. Well that didn't happen. So i called many many times and it said the customer service line was closed. Go figure. So I just spent $600 to fix my bumper. I was gonna let it go until I just got rear ended again in my wife's explorer unbelievable yes again in the Oakdale car wash. And the Mister guy says the guy behind me put it in drive what the heck. Just a word to the wise people. Maybe a hand wash is better. read more

Mister Car Wash has a great staff; very friendly and always providing service with a smile. That being said... The quality of the car wash has dramatically declined since Mister stepped in and Prime Shine sold out. This has been noticeable at each MCW from each of the locations I've visited from Oakdale out to Tracy. The fabric for the scrubbers is much coarser yet does not remove dirt nearly as well as it leaves swirl marks to your top coat. The overhead swing arms do not work well with pickups, your tailgate and rear window will be mostly missed. The new soap smells nice and the entrance lights are pretty- but $16.00 basic wash for a half clean, clear-coat swirling mess of a wash is just ridiculous. There's a reason why Henry and Linda's self serve car wash is getting a lot more business these days. Fix yourself, Mister. Or go back to AZ where nobody gives a damn about their sun baked cars being run through your bubbly trash compactors. read more

I always try to use an Oakdale vendor since that is where I live. I pay monthly for the platinum car wash. I am disabled and cannot get out and wipe my car down. Whenever I go through the Oakdale car wash. My windows are still dirty, and the blowers blow all the water back on my windows, (which leaves water spots ), I have asked several times if they can adjust the blowers and why they don't spray the back window. But it never changes I now have to go to Riverbank to get my car washed. Riverbank car wash is much better. Please try and fix the Oakdale car wash. I would love to go back. read more

First it's the worst Car Wash in Oakdale!!! Everything is a takeaway since they purchased!! I had the monthly just for convenience and we don't have a lot of options in Oakdale. I was in Riverbank at the Home Depot and drove through that location. I alway dry my pickup. While drying I noticed a scratch/dent on my front grill. I filled out a damage report. They contacted me today to state it was already there? I had a good idea that was going to happen. Canceled the monthly subscriptions on both cars. They offered to have me come down and show the video. Originally I said yes. I'm just going to contact my insurance company on Monday. They just lie and hope you go away!! Will see!! Before it was Prime Shine never had a problem now that they switched ownership and it's mister I don't see how they improved the car wash we are very disappointed because both of our cars don't get cleaned up very well there's always soap and residue Left Behind not to mention all the scratches Knicks and dings on a brand new car that barely has 2000 miles on it very disgusted but we'll wait and see what the claim manager has to say? read more

Well I am not impressed. Stopped in the other day for my first wash at the new Mister. They took over the previous business, changed around some equipment, did what appears to be superficial cosmetic building upgrades, and then began providing inferior car wash services. There's no free dash wipe. The car wash brushes sound like they are just shredding the paint with each turn. You need to go thru a second time to get your car even partially cleaned. Nothing sprays the back of your car so it can be cleaned. Terrible. Not to mention to be a part of their monthly unlimited wash program they require you to have their sticker in your window which makes you look like a rental car. No thanks. Serious upgrades needed to turn this into a real car wash. read more

I went through the wash TWICE and STILL my car wasn't clean. I asked the attendant on the third run why the heck doesn't this place work like Prime Shine? She said it was probably because my car is white and the road was really grimy from the rain. Girl, please. I said my car ALWAYS came clean out of Prime Shine and I've had it for a few years, the rainy seasons don't make a difference, the subpar car wash does. She admitted they've had meetings about this problem because a lot of people are complaining, BUT MAKE SURE YOU KNOW YOU HAVE TO STICK THIS HUGE, UGLY WHITE STICKER ON YOUR WINDSHIELD BY THE FIRST OF THE YEAR BECAUSE WE NEED FREE ADVERTISING FOR CRAPPY SERVICE! Car still dirty even after consecutive wash #3. Prime Shine never did us dirty until they sold out to these guys. Response to their response: the auto comments by whomever handles Yelp are funny to me. If your company really wanted satisfied customers, you would fix the obvious flaws in your washing mechanisms (I'm seeing these complaints everywhere!) and if they aren't obvious, use the stuff that came with the joint when Prime Shine bailed on us. This place is a joke! And by looking at the reviews I'm not the only one who thinks this . I've been going here for about 6 months (weekly)with my work truck and have had no problems until recently I've been not let through because of stuff in my truck bed . A cooler that ways over 100 pounds and other heavy items that in no way would interfere or fly up in the wash . It's a common sense issue that they obviously don't inform there employees about . But twice is enough for me cancel both our monthly subscriptions and never come back . The wash was not that great anyways it was work truck company vehicle quality . When I pulled up to the touch screen a girl started to go through the different washes. I told her "I got it no thank you." I picked my wash paid and pulled around to go through. When it was my turn a different woman came up to my window and accused me of pushing the girls hand away and began to lecture me on never touching the screen again. I explained I never touch the girl and asked are you seriously lecturing me on using a touch screen. The woman told me if I ever come there again to never touch the screen that's their job. I'm a regular Unlimited member ,the service on the weekend seems to be lacking and today I had the worst experience to date . employees with an attitude no customer service over a simple question and then was refused service because they said I had an attitude my attitude only came from the attitude I was getting from the attendant and the manager only backed the rude employee without even hearing what they said seriously thinking about canceling my membership we'll see in the next few washes it's really sad they have no competition in the surrounding areas because I think that would clean up their attitude read more
