Let me start with a few key differences between Certified Collision Center On Delano, and Masters Auto Body and paint. 1. Integrity. (My favorite word) I had a truck that got side swiped big time. It was perfectly drive-able. I took it to Certified Collision and immediately got the impression that the only thing they cared about was my money. Not me. I was told it would be a few days, which in my 62 years meant 3. A week later I'd received no communication. Mind you I brought the truck to them on a Monday. The following Wednesday, still nothing. Read that 10 days, later. Yes, I could have called, but that's not the way I roll. I didn't "need" the truck, and I like to give thorough and honest reviews. So on Wednesday, I had reason to be near the shop after hours, and went past to see my truck sitting outside and nothing had changed. So, Thursday I called, and was told they were waiting on parts???!!! So... 2. Communications. Why would they not have told me when I dropped it off, that they'd have to order parts. Why should it take so long to GET parts? That body style hadn't changed in years. All it needed was a new panel on the bed of the truck. Hell, go to a junk yard, get a new bed, paint it and call me a "few" days later. So... 3. Customer service. Does this need a new bullet point? I think so. After all they're in the service industry! I simply was not made to feel welcome. Masters? Integrity, communicative and service oriented. This is the 2nd time I've been there. The staff made me feel welcome, Mel remembered me and acted like we were old friends. Even laughed at the jokes I told. We brought the car in after being rear-ended. HARD! From the outside, it looked like the bumper just had a crack in it, but we both knew there was a lot more than met the eye. Brought it in an a Monday. Christmas was Wednesday, and so of course was New Years. Mel told me it'd not be done until after the holidays. He said he'd take it apart to see how many more parts would be needed. I think Mel likes the sound of my voice, he was in constant contact. Told me it probably wouldn't be done until Jan 6th or 7th. Called me around 11:00 am to tell me they might have it ready shortly afternoon. On the 3rd! Friday. Then he called Enterprise rental to pick their car up so we wouldn't have to go to them. And the car shined! Even the inside including the windshield was cleaned! If our house wasn't such a mess, I'd invite the man over for dinner. Ok, I should have been going to this place all along. The quality of work and the awesome attitude of Andy (owner) and Mel (manager) is far superior than any body shop I've ever been to. Not that I'm hoping to get in another "fender bender", but if I do I will never go to another shop again. There is a real attention to detail by their whole team, and they thanked me more than once for bringing my pickup to them. On my Tacoma I had these patriotic vinyl stickers in the indented "Tacoma letters" on my tailgate. Horrible customer service at this place. Called in for a quote for a new bumper on a 2011 Prius with black paint and the guy was a complete smart ass. Not helpful at all and said I need to fill out paperwork or else my quote is going to be $1500.00 GTFO! Whoever is answering the phones at the place is a complete jack ass. Never again. Meanwhile I called another place about a mile from there and they quoted me $250.00 with number included and were able to quote me over the phone with year and model of the car and no paperwork needed. read more

Unless you have insurance taking care of all you vehicle repairs don't waste your time with this place. We bought an older car that needed new body parts we bought them ourselves and replaced them. After doing so we took it there to get a quote on fixing a few dents and repainting the whole car. We were refused service because we didn't purchase the the replacement body parts through them. This excuse of a business is just another example of a company trying to screw over the working class. Yeah go ahead and bring your cars in so they can jack up the total bill sent to your insurance company. But heaven forbid they actually help someone out who's paying their own bill.
