This place amazes me. The service is friendly and the system is so efficient, even on busier days. You drive up tell the cashier your preference and pay. Everyone drives through the washer. There is an exit for exterior only. You go straight ahead for interior. You never have to step outside. The waiting area is huge. The whole place is clean and pristine. Good size bathrooms too. When I spoke to the worker at the front, I stated I wanted an interior detail. I clarified multiple times that I would like a deep interior clean. He was speaking very rapidly and not being very concise/being very vague about their services, and then said that he could do that. I paid $32 for the equivalent of a holiday gas station car wash. My car went through the car wash, and they dusted off my dashboard and did a very poor job vacuuming. Additionally, they did not clean my mats, or vacuum my trunk which is supposed to be included in the service. I was very nice about the confusion, and told the worker there had been a misunderstanding and asked if I was able to get more of my interior cleaned, and that I was willing to pay more. He was very rude and told me they could not do that, that I didn't know what I was talking about and that they had told me what I was receiving within the service before. However, I was not told what I was receiving within the service before. The worker proceeded to raise their voice at me, and told me that I could reverse my car and leave. I left and will not be returning to this location. I do not think that this is worth a $32 payment. Do not come here if you are looking for actual high-quality car cleaning. Did I just rob a business blind in full daylight? I drive a mini van; I'm not ashamed to say it. I have a dog and three kids and my vehicles look like it. At least they used to. I pulled in on a Tuesday afternoon, paid less than $40 and for that I got a PLATINUM wash and express interior clean. It was a deal. The outside of my car is beautiful but the real magic happened on the inside. They spent twice as long on my van as any other vehicle; a fact I attribute to both its size and the state of the interior. I may never allow my dog or my children in said mini van again; it's now too beautiful. I paid for the platinum wash hoping to get the best interior job offered and double for car mats since I have three rows of seating, and a cargo liner. I forgot to lift up the third row, so I guess that is on me that they didn't grab the third row mat. BUT regardless of that, they didn't even take out the cargo liner to power wash it which I paid EXTRA for. So it was full of mud and dog hair everywhere. Plus, there was dust all over my entertainment console and so many dirty spots throughout the interior. I watched them work on the interior for a total of 3-4 minutes. The power wash of the few mats they did wash still had dirt stains-- they don't even use soap on the mats? Not worth the money if you are looking to get your interior cleaned. They half assed all of it, so I went home and spent an hour re-cleaning the interior. read more

I'll explain more and I'll also include pics to back my review up. Mister Car wash is a nice place and I didn't have to wait very long. People were of course trying to up sell me on several option packages which is annoying when you busy want a basic wash but I opted for the $20 platinum package. For $20 bucks I would expect it to look pretty Damn good. Not the case. It did a terrible job on the rear of the car even though they dried it. I don't know how that is possible. They package includes wheel shine, there's nothing on them, I guarantee it. They didn't dry it and it spotted on the hood. I like coming here. It makes my car sparkly and happy, and when my car is clean- I'm a happier momma! Quick in and out service. Popcorn and coffee available in the lobby (nom nom). While I've been satisfied with the exterior job, the full service including interior cleaning is lacking 3 out of 4 times. Sometimes they miss the cup holders and wiping off the grimy armrests on the door. They have multiple choices for scents: lemon, new car and...not recalling the other. I just got my car's interior detailed here today and it was a good experience! I made an appointment on Sunday for today (Monday), and I was the a-hole that rolled up with a bunch of trash in my car. So sorry, guys. For $30 per section, I got the front two seats in my car vacuumed, shampooed, and detailed. They ran the exterior through the car wash too. The total was about $65. Good deal if you ask me but I don't buy services like this often. I waited in their lobby area where there was free popcorn, coffee, and wifi. I Yelped my ass off, and soon enough they let me know the car was ready in under an hour. So far it's looking good! There's a few tiny spots that could have used some more TLC, but I'll tell ya that this was a hard job and I understand. It looks and smells clean which was well worth it. read more

The worst experience I've ever had getting my car cleaned. I went there today to get my car washed and the interior clean vacuum basically. When the girl was asking me what I would like I just cried to her when I needed done, basic, vacuuming, and that I needed the weather tech floor mats clean as well. She told me it would be extra to have the mats done. I said, that would be fine. I need them to get done. I sat there and watched several people work on my car. They took my floor mats out, threw them across the room or another gentleman basically threw water on them, and then threw them back over to my car. Once they were done doing whatever it is they were doing they put the wet mat back in my car brand new car and carpet. I could not see what it look like since it's so dark in there when I got back to my car as soon as I went out into the daylight there it is I am mediately turned around asked to see the manager explain to him when it happened. He asked me to go back inside for about 10 minutes and he would take care of it, long story short and do crafts, the fact that he couldn't hardly speak. English didn't help much. If you're looking to get the interior of your car clean, don't waste the money I spent 40+ dollars and got nothing but disappointed. read more

Lost my rear wiper. After using the wash about 8 times I lost my rear window wiper. Made me wonder how rough the wash might be to my car. They post everywhere how they are not responsible and looking at the reviews, makes me wonder how often this happens. Very disappointed in the efforts & work. Not what it used to be. There were 4 people working on my car. Two gals & two guys. One gal was more concerned about holding her cell phone than vacuuming. The other gal would vacuum & then stand there looking at her fellow employees for a bit before grabbing the vacuum again & going back in the vehicle. It was obvious that neither of those gals wanted to be working on my car. One of the guys worked hard the whole time, while the other one did a little work & then went right to his cell phone, leaning against the garage door wall not working anymore. After watching 3 of the 4 workers do mediocre work at best, I wasn't surprised to see my car not clean. Note: there were not any other cars there at the time for interior detailing - just mine. A few others were getting exterior washes, but not interior, so I can't even write this off as them being busy. For nearly $40, I would have thought there would be better attention to detail. Please don't call yourself a detail shop - there was nothing detailed about the work done today. The seats still had crumbs in the cracks, the coffee drips were still on my center council, the door jams were not wiped, the mirrors were full of water spots & a whole section was totally missed from being vacuumed. I went to this Mister car wash in Shoreview a few months ago because my normal car wash was closed. I ordered the most expensive wash. While waiting for my car to get cleaned I was talking to another customer and she was raving about this place and that she has an unlimited plan and just loves it. I didn't know such a thing existed but was interested. I went out to get my car and it looked great- I was very impressed. I got home and went around to the front of my car and the whole front bumper was still full of smattered bugs. Needless to say- I was disappointed as I have gone to holiday gas station car wash and my front grill looked better than this. But I thought surely I will give them a call and they will take care of it. So I called and left a message It was a friday night- so I knew I wouldn't be called back till the next week. I waited til Wednesday and still no response. Called back and left another message. waited a few days and still no response. Now I am getting pretty frustrated by this lack of customer service- so I called again and left a message for the manager to call me back. Still no reply. By this time it has been about 3 weeks since the original wash. What kind of customer service is this where you pay for a service and are not satisfied with the results and call multiple times and they don't even bother to call you back or try to make it right. As I said - I was considering signing up for their unlimited plan and if they had even made a minimum effort to make things right or even returned my phone calls I would have signed up, but this is really poor customer service and they will not see another penny from me and I certainly will tell all my friends and family that live in the area. I have been a member for over 15 years. Recently, at both the Roseville and Shoreview locations, owners decided they would eliminate drying vehicles after the exterior wash. I have visited the wash several times and when I get to the end, there are 5-6 staff standing around. Management has an obligation to train their employees to make the best use of their time. I keep a fairly clean car. No pets, kids, or smoking. Yesterday I went and got a Full Serve #1 for spring cleaning. It is supposed to include interior cleaning, but there were crumbs left in a cup holder, front cubby, and the arm rests were not wiped. Also, I saw them 'clean' my foot mats, they banged them against something, that's it. Later I noticed there was garbage (a folded up piece of paper) left in the back seat arm rest! I did not notice these things until I came home. I DID notice they did not even touch the dash and I stopped to tell the nearest guy after I pulled out. The two that 'worked' on my car had vanished in two shakes of a lambs tail, and this guy that I talked to was nice, embarrassed and apologetic. I wish he worked somewhere better. He wiped down my dash and I was on my way.. I fully regret buying a package of five and will never return to mistercar wash after I'm done with it. When my car is clean I'm happier too, but it came out dirty. They also missed the rear end, like the reviewer with the BMW reported. Sorry, no pictures for me. I came home and finished cleaning and then really got in there and love it. Used some olive oil on the dash and other plastic areas with a drop of vetiver EO and it is smelling good. I miss the Devil I knew which was the Downtowner; this is the crap we get with chain car washes. read more
