Went here last night to celebrate my birthday with my twin sister. Luckily there is no cover for the summer for females; males paid $5 to get in. There was no wait to get in (we got there around 11). We experienced rudeness from the staff. My sister took off her shoes to rest her feet and a woman rudely told her to put her shoes back on as if my sister was not going to comply. This is my second time going to Mister East and I can say that so far, I have not been impressed. Yesterday, my friend reserved a "table" for her birthday. She had told whoever was responsible that we had ten people coming. The "table" we were placed at was more like an end table, only fitting the bottle chillers and the orange and cranberry juice. There was only enough room for 4 people on the bench at the table and we were extremely cramped with other parties on either side. We requested to be moved upstairs and we were. There was more room for sure, but it felt like we were in the way of all the wait staff and security rushing back and forth. The price was outrageous for bottle service and the "table." I will not be returning unless it's for a birthday or event of that nature. The music was just alright as well. I did some dancing, but a lot of sitting was also involved. Despite it's proximity to my house, I'd rather go clubbing in AC or NYC... It's a more fun time, in my opinion. read more

I like the music and atmosphere at this place. the bouncers are really rude especially some short guy who always looks so mad, they all look mad actually. Every Time I come here though something always happens, I've lost my phone and one of the bouncers took it bc they asked my friend if they dropped it and they said no and when I asked about it no one had seen anything. My friend had a bottle hit her head which was thrown from upstairs and she was uncontrollably bleeding, they said they don't sell glass bottles but that's a dam lie bc I have bought a beer bottle there before. when we asked if we should call an ambulance they said no that she just needs to sleep it off !!! Needless to say she ended up getting stitches bc we took her to the hospital right after! Horrible heartless people! read more

I honestly have been there 2 times and every time I asked myself why did I do that, I liked the Central Park Bar at least I wouldn't have to pay that ridiculous cover charge that makes you expect for a New York ambiance or at least good music. Only real negative would be the high cover charge. Free entry before 9:30pm but who really goes out to the club before 11pm? Also if you pay for Central Park, you have to pay for Mr. East. read more

This place charges $20 for guys AND $20 for girls. That's a joke. Everywhere I've been has always been free for girls or at least half that price. My boyfriend couldn't get in because he was wearing a white shirt, he had to go across the street and buy a black one... what difference does it make?? Coat check is MANDATORY and you have to pay for it...ridiculous. It was such a hassle to enter this club... The music was alright, but the drinks are around $13 each. When I was in the bathroom, a male bouncer stormed right into the ladies' bathroom like nothing. That shouldn't be legal, at least have a woman worker walk inside. Also, for the cherry on top, I walk into the ladies' bathroom and there was vomit allll over one of the bathroom stalls and the floor. Seems like no worker had any intention of cleaning it up. What a disappointment this place was. I called Mister East about 3 weeks ago to make a guest list for a large party I was planning on bringing there. At the end of the call they said I was all set and all of my guests would be free before 11 pm. I like to plan things out ahead of time and confirm them, so I called Mister East again two days ago to confirm my party. Again, they said I was all set and will not have any issues. Last night was the event. Fortunately my husband and I got there 15 minutes before our guests. When we got to the door they said they had no guest list under my name and that every person would have to pay to enter. Not only did they not follow through with the arrangement that was made way in advance, they were ridiculously rude at the door. We left and took our party elsewhere. I will never go back to this classless dump and would not recommend it to anyone. read more

Was here recently to see DJ Lobo. Great latin spot, little pricy at the door but could be due to event. Location is easy to get to.

Great bottle service for reserved booths. Staff was friendly and attentive to cleaning. Club prices arent cheap but where is?! Music was a variety on a Saturday night: Pop/Dance, Hip Hop/House mix. Little regular hip hop. Upstairs VIP, downstairs was closed tonight. Variety of races primarily ages 25-35. Bar side was ages 25-45. read more

Will never come back here! Place is too small and you are packed up like sardines. Prices are ridiculous! And the bartender tried to over change us and kept saying we were drunk and that's why we didn't understand. Had to wait 30 min for the manager and the price was adjusted to $20 less than what it was originally. Horrible service and horrible experience. Never again! read more

I have NEVER in my life felt SO discriminated against before 21 other friends and I stood on line too enter Mister east on Saturday April 26, 2014 when the young man in his fancy grey suit would not let a friend in because she was "underdressed." confused as too what he meant (considering she was wearing the SAME thing as the rest of us) He was asked what she can do too "fit in" and be allowed too enter the club. he said she needed too UNTUCK her button-down dress shirt, without any argument- she proceeded too do so. It took us 45 minutes too get into this place, only because the man at the door was bribed with 40$ cash! Was he sexist? A homophobe? Maybe just plain old ignorant! It's just ironic how the chicks in short dresses with their private parts hanging out got in without an issue, and this specific group of 22 were the only people given a hard time! Best Saturday night party from September to may in the area no question. They have Friday Latin fusion parties that are also pretty cool.

Went on Friday night third time in last four months... started going cause Duval & Den are closed & sometimes going NYC too much trouble ,,,, just keeps getting better ... Came here for Halloween night. Had a table reserved. The table is very small and other people were constanly around our table. No space to move. Tried to tell them to move from our space, but it was impossible. Then my husband asked for security to help to fix this problem. And that's what hit us!! The security guy said to him: shut the f...uck up, mother...er!!!! He had a smile on his face when he turned from him. I mean horrible, horrible, horrible. And so what are you supposed to do in this situation? You come to have a good time, pay lots of money for the table, and that's the service that you get? Hell no, never again! read more

I love this place. Would give it 5 stars but the last visit was very distinct from my other visits, and not in a good way. Music was good (although they started the night with hip hop, too gangster to start the night with, leave hip music for the end but keep mixing it up with other stuff). They usually have a sexy well dressed crowd but last night they seriously let any schmuck in. White tee and ugly sneakers? Really ? I was dressed to the nines with my girls and was surrounded by some well dressed ppl but Unfortunately there were those ugly beach shirts and sneaker wearing ppl killing the vibe. And way too many of those. They never used to let ppl in with just any attire. Seems they lowered their standards. Please go back to how you were bc your venue will become a trashy joint in no time. We came on Saturday, Feb 18 for Funkmaster Flex and left without seeing him. Apparently he showed up around 1:30 which is when we decided to leave. So just know when they feature a star DJ he will only come to close out the party Nice place, good music, wack crowd. (Might be a good looking crowd to anybody under 30 though). It is a very nice place however crowd control was lacking. People just kept coming. You couldn't dance comfortably without being interrupted by herds of people passing through. Despite the great music, people were either walking around or standing taking up space. They do have valet parking however when i called ahead, the lady who answered didn't know the price. Please make sure all staff knows this info! Limited street parking so come early. Also free before 11 with rsvp on website. I'm glad we rsvp'd because I can't imagine paying for that place. We came to dance but barely got any dancing in. Very disappointed. One other thing, please get a real fog machine. The guy holding the hose for the fog looked like he was putting out fires! I will say I like the fact that Central Park is also under the same roof, I would definitely go back to Central Park to watch sports of chill. Cool atmosphere on that side and you can breathe. No cover on that side so if you get stamped for Mister East, you can go back and forth. read more

I will never go back to this place after I went for a friend's birthday. The place was supposed to close at 3:00 AM and by 2:00 they pushed us out the door. I called my cab to be there for 2:30 thinking they would push us out early, but not that early. So there we were in the freezing cold being pushed off the sidewalk by the rudest bouncers ever. First time here. It was for a bachelorette. My group of 10 women arrived early dressed in Robert Palmer themed apparel. White tanks and black leggings. We were treated quite well, and spent $1500.00 on bottle service. One of our bridesmaids was meeting up with us a bit late...she was denied entrance (because of dress code, please note she was in the same attire as the other 10 of us.) When I asked the doorman (one person named Victor, I was told it was Bc "she looked like she was coming from the gym." Please note - she is an all American lifeguard and amazing crossfitter, she is also a lesbian. So her athletic build and desire to not wear a ton of makeup denied her entrance. Not actually her dress code as Victor said. I yelled discrimination 3 times before finally a nice manager let us in. Place was mediocre as well as music for jersey. I will never come back. And the door staff needs a class in profiling. read more
