Hi there! I am writing to let everyone know how amazing Arsen with Mister G Remodeling was in repairing my water damaged rental in San Diego. Arsen and his father completely restored my condo to a like new condition within my budget. This would not have been possible if I went with another contractor. We hired Mister G to do our kitchen remodel. EVERY interaction with the owner (Arsen) was awesome! He is very knowledgeable and courteous, open and transparent about everything that needed to be done. These guys are definitely experienced as our kitchen was very old and needed some minor structural changes (moving of plumbing piping, outlets, and etc to meet new codes and requirements) Not only were they extremely professional, they kept the working area very clean, minimized any impact on our daily life at home (contained the work to only in the kitchen) and their price was the best we've been quoted (researched 5 other companies in San Diego). We are in a bind to get work done on my aunt's house in order to get it on the market after she moved to an assisted living community. The realtor gave us a list of items to fix and some of them require a contractor. I attempted to go on the website for Mister G to get a quote or set up a meeting for a quote and his website did not work. I attempted it several times and it kept saying there was an error but would not say what the error was. I ended up copying the email address and sending an email on Tuesday, during posted business hours, asking him to please let me know if he was available. I asked if he could meet me either Wednesday or Friday afternoon to get a quote. It is now Friday at 12:43pm and I still have not heard from him. I will not be working with someone who doesn't return their email and who you cannot contact through the website. I guess I'm now looking for another contractor. Arsen was fine on an initial small job. However, twice in the last 6-9 months after responding to a job inquiry by saying he would "put me on the books," he responded to multiple follow up requests for days/times with crickets. Translation, Arsen decides to passive aggressively not respond when he doesn't "feel like" doing the work. A simple "no can do" would be fine. Instead, his total lack of response (TWICE) is unprofessional, discourteous and lame. read more

I called Arsen on a Saturday morning. He was able to come out that afternoon. He explained his hourly rate ahead of time- which is really appreciated. He was on time, got the jobs completed quickly, and - what I really appreciated- taught me how to fix my garbage disposal and other things as he was working on it so I can do it next time (but not in a condescending way). As my client was attempting to remove her garden hose, she accidentally broke the pvc pipe and water gushed high up and everywhere! As they're scrambling to shut off the water, I went on Yelp and found this highly reviewed local business to cap off the pipe. Arsen was timely, professional and reasonably priced! Arsen, from Mr G. Handyman is lutstanding! We late in yhe afternoon, and Arsen arrived at our home in a half hour. We had him come to clean up shsttered glass from a broken sjower door! Be was clean, careful, and very thorough, taking care to have removed all remnants of glass. They do a wide range of remodeling work. I have total confidence in their ability, and plan to have tbem do remodeling in our bathroom! I highly recommend Mr. Handyman! read more

I used Mister G back in Nov/Dec 2018 to remodel my kitchen. They did a good job prepping/demo for the countertop, new sink, and cabinet prep for painting the cabinets. They said they were experienced and have done a lot of backsplash tile work, so I agreed to have them to do the tile but it was done so poorly, I had to take the tile off myself and scrape off the glue they used. Also, I ended up buying the glue/adhesive, which most tile contractors include when they do their work. I had another contractor do the tile and did a fantastic job. Therefore, I ended up paying twice for my backsplash tile! I spent the entire week between Christmas and New Year scraping off the adhesive to salvage any re-useable tile. Also, they charged by the hour ($100/hour....$50/hr for the father & son), which was my fault I agreed to that! So, I stopped them from getting to the point of grouting the tile. I have numerous pictures I took of this work, I am not posting because they are requiring me to sign in through Facebook. If you want me to send pics, I will do so... If you are going to do demo and prep work for a kitchen remodel, I would not hire them again....$100/hour is way too expensive for this type of work. They are nice people, but limited on craft work (backsplash tile in my case). read more

I mean really, the attention to detail and the over all quality of the final product exceeded our expectations which isn't always the case with remodeling services.
