The staff were also very friendly and introduced the menu to us since it was our first time there! I love how thin the pizza crust was and for the star-shaped pizza, beware biting into it when it just comes out, it is a bit hotter than the other parts of the pizza so there's a small risk of burning your mouth. Otherwise the pizza was solid! For the gluten free pizza, the dough was a lot chewier and tougher than we thought when we ate at the restaurant but still delicious. The server was rather slow in service was rather slow, but there was one guy there who is putting out dishes and giving olive oil who was amazing, I don't know his name, but he did a great job. Otherwise, everything else was very slow. No one is mean or anything. Everyone is very nice, but the service needs to be worked on or they need to hire more people. The pizza is pretty good. I will say. We didn't have the dessert pizza. We did get the Burrata with balsamic glaze which was good. The pizza is rather thin. The crust aren't thick for the regular pizza, but they're good. The flavors are nice. They have a hot chili oil, they have a balsamic glaze, they have olive oil....very nice. There's a parking garage right next-door and they do validate parking. I'd been meaning to try this place for a while, so finally, my husband and I decided to have dinner here recently. We parked in the garage which leads directly into the restaurant. When we got to the host stand, the hostess asked us if we parked there and pointed out that we could get it free for 3 hours, following their QR code. After perusing the menu, we decided to go with one Riccardo pizza, as is, and one Claudio pizza but in star shape. You can request for any of their pizzas to be star shaped, which is good to know! My husband and I have visited the Mister O1 in Sandy Springs a few times, and we wanted to check out the Buckhead location. When we arrived, it wasn't busy, and we were able to be promptly seated. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. We opted to sit inside since it was a little cooler outside. FYI: There is paid parking; however, if you dine within the complex, most restaurants will validate your parking. At Mister O1, they validate your parking for 3 hours, I am not sure if this is the standard for all of the restaurants in the complex. Once seated, we were greeted by Cameron. Cameron was a pleasure to have as our server. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. We were pretty hungry, so it didn't long for us to order. We both had a glass of wine, and we ordered two star pizzas to share. Our wines came out shortly thereafter then our food. Our pizzas came out piping hot. They were light, thin, crispy, and tasty. The space was busy and not that large, with only 1-2 outdoor tables (along with heat lamps). We got a few pizzas as well as a Greek salad. I'd recommend sharing a pizza or two. The salad was pretty solid and quite large. You can customize the cheese if you want a vegan version (it is coconut based and creamy). We all enjoyed the fact that it was thin crust. We also got the dessert pizza: half pistachio (a special), half Nutella. None of us liked it. However, the service was not so great! I can understand it's a new spot and there's people waiting for a table but we were rushed! I randomly visited this place because they said the pizza was extraordinary and I must say the service was extraordinary the pizza was delicious. Also there's parking in a parking deck, when you walk in you're greeted with a smile you're able to sit wherever you like and they also have half off bottles and glasses of wine. I will give Mister O1 what it is which is decent pizza but thats all it gets. I fear its overhyped in my opinion. First, its crazy how busy it was on a Wednesday and we had to wait for a table which was insane! Once inside, its a cute little restaurant and the staff was super nice so I don't have any issues there! My problem is just generally the pizza. We got 3 kinds and they were all just fine but I think the crust is wayyyyyy too thin. Enjoyed a lovely Friday dinner at Mister O1 in the new Buckhead location. The restaurant is located at the corner of Piedmont and lenox in the same plaza as Zakaria and a coffee shop. It specializes in pizzas made to order as well as salads, calzones, and more. We both ordered pizzas and switched our sausages for chicken. Everything was delicious. Lovely team. We decided to pick up our pizza from this location. It is a bit harder to pick up since it is on such a busy road, but we made it happen. My husband went to pick it up and said there is two doors: one for dine in and another for pick up. He didn't get to see much of the ambiance due to that, but the service was amazing. The employee at the counter was so sweet, and she gave us all the sides for the pizza and even packed the oil with a napkin so it didn't leak through the paper bag. In terms of the food, the pizza was okay. I think it may have been overhyped for me, so it fell flat for me. I thought the pepperoni was okay, but the flavor of the pizza just seemed to fall flat for my husband and me. At this point, everybody knows why this place is called "Mister 01" and I am so glad he was able to come here on that visa. He actually deserves it. This new spot has been packed every time I drive by. I came in to try it and left very happy and recommending it to others. I went with the burrata with the white truffle oil which came with a flat bread that was so Crispy and seemed to be cooked in the fire burning oven. Would order again next time for sure. Before I begin to rave about Mister 01, let's address the Buckhead location parking situation. There's a lot that leads directly to the restaurant and it's 2 hours free. The atmosphere is minimalistic, light woods, clean lines but not sparse. Welcoming. Open kitchen concept where the chefs/cooks are facing us over their high counter. Our server, Mya of the smiles, was great. She understood us in the way a new restaurant experience needs servers who get the newbie. The pizzas are delicious. Without question, the best crust I have had. Thin without crunch nor big heavy chews or pulls. We had the Star Luca & the Matteo. The star pizza's construction gives an aesthetic appearance with lovely bursts of ricotta or Burrata. The "court" of the star pizza is where the toppings live. The Matteo is a flat pizza. Fresh toppings and same lovely crust. Everything is fresh. The salads are large and looked great as they went by. Finally, dessert. Mya explained the difference between a Nutella-banana pizza and the same but as a calzone. The calzone was described as large, hot, melty, messy. Right up my alley. So of course we got a small pizza spread with Nutella & powdered with sugar. The slices of banana were on one half. One does compromise for their loved ones. Over an hour later, we still hadn't received a text message stating our table was ready. We ended up eating somewhere else due to how long it was taking. Come to find out, their system had a glitch and we never received a text although our table had been ready not long after we had arrived. Very disappointing since our whole purpose of driving across town was to try their pizza. We checked on the way back to our car and the hostess was very apologetic and confirmed she had entered the right number.
