To fix a taillight on a Pontiac Vibe is pretty much hells on wheels! I made my first appointment; however, I was not able to wake up on time last Saturday. Instead, bobby, the mechanic and owner, had me come in today. Again, I could not make it on time (no it is not because I like to be fashionably late!) I ended up coming in at 10:30 a.m. and he started working on my car at 11:30 a.m. Man was it a journey! He fixed. I sat there watching t.v. in the office. He worked. I sat there watching t.v. at the office. He worked. I sat there watching t.v. in the office. He broke a sweat trying to use process of elimination on the wiring and I strained to watch the t.v. It was a fight to no end without either end giving in. OMG!! Finally, after 3 and a half hours, he finally got a spike out of my car. The tail lights were now working! Of course, this was all labor intensive, but he made me a good deal. He cut an hour and a half labor to work on my car and so the total was $159! (This is also were I thought to myself "DAMN SON, MECHANICS MAKE BANK! After hearing doctors and lawyers make $50/hr.!) Now usually in situations like this, I like to tack on a tip (throw money at people); but I am bat crap poor right now (probably because I eat out enough to do reviews on Yelp, 50% of my income). I am so poor, even California's debt, would be an improvement. LOL! I paid the bill and now I am street legal, at night, again. YAY!

Like a Buy Here Pay Here lot Quality…read more I bought a Jetta TDI from them & within one day I had an EGR code for the emission come on.... now I bought this car when they said it came straight from the factory for its modification, so they "did all necessary services so she's brand new". Day two off the lot, EGR starts to go: mileage drops & heat stops working. Tell me it's unrelated & I might get charged a diagnostic fee because of it.... I tell them this is fine, I know it's emissions related & part of the warranty, but they tell me to diagnose this it'll take 3-5 hours! That being said, under the warranty I'm entitled to a loaner & they tell me no! So I call them out on them & they magically say oh, never mind, we can get you a loaner, but this will only take an hour to diagnose it & we don't give out loaners for hour service jobs.... They lied to me out of the gate, delayed my service (by two weeks) because they didn't have time for a 5 hour diagnose, then had the nerve to ask me after why I waited so long if I was having these issues... If you buy from this dealership check every feature of your car before you drive off the lot, basic heat, power outlet, wiper etc. I wouldn't trust these people to own the issue afterwards, get you in for timely service or give you the warranties owed to you by VW unless you call them out on it!

What happened? And the extras they're adding are incredibly expensive. If the thing I'm getting fixed costs $300, I don't want to be told you need these little things and it ends up being $600. Winter break last year my catalytic converter was stolen from my jeep. Horrible sound when you started it up the works. I called around to all the shops and ultimately shorts was the only one willing to help and work with me. I took it in and they told me that's what it was and got me set up with someone from another shop who could help me since they didn't have the machine that I needed to fix my car. They told me exactly what I needed not to be scammed and they were the only people to say sorry to me this entire experience.
