I couldn't drink since I was there for work, but it's such a cool touch and makes the space feel even more inviting. There are so many delicious things to look at. Spices, nuts, prepared foods, pastries, everything. The olives are honestly my favorite. They are so fresh and full of flavor that I had to stop myself from grabbing more. It's the kind of store where you want to explore every corner because something good is always waiting. The staff was friendly and patient even with the steady flow of people. It's just a warm, easy place to be in. If you're walking around Industry City, Sahadi's is definitely worth a stop. It feels like a little food adventure every time.

They had a few brands of Turkish coffee and I went for Cafe Najj with cardamom. Omg!! This coffee has changed my life! I was assisted by Hilda who I had a brief discussion with about coffee. She saw my reservations about trying the cardamom coffee and looked to see if they had any I could sample. Unfortunately they didn't but her genuine concern and kindness won me over to take a chance. I hadn't been to this store in about 5 years and I'm glad it's still there in light of how Brooklyn is changing. I'm happy to report I'm going to patronize this store more often, especially since they have better customer service skills than other stores on that street.

After all, it is an old-school Middle Eastern store from yesteryear and it'll even feel like a dusty old bookstore in a sense, where you might find a magical book that opens you into a fairytale world (but obviously not). Soy sauce condiment is available for purchase at $0.75. It is very well stock with inventory of Asian imported snacks, Asian ice cream, beauty products, home goods, including prepared hot foods tempura, teriyaki, ramen as well as sashimi/ sushi. Price is reasonable specifically in 2026 stagflation era. If my trek home was close to Chinatown I would surely purchase one pint of Matcha green tea ice cream.
