My first experience with the cuisine and it was different but at the same time delicious, it's well worth another visit soon.

Looking at the menu there are a lot of options including some unique fusions as well. I decided to place a to-go order for the Chicken Sagg Malai Kofta And The Delhi Chicken Tikkamasala Pasta I also ordered a cheese nann and Laccha Paratha with the veggie samosa. When I arrived I was greeted warmly by the staff. The restaurant was clean yet empty (maybe that should have been the first sign) I received my order and was excited to go home and eat with my family when I arrived home and opened the sagg I was a bit disappointed at how separate everything looked . Sagg is always my go to and while the flavors slightly may vary from location to location what I received looked more like a spinach legume where everything seamed separated as I took a taste I was hit with harsh flavors of raw ginger and spices that seemed to separate in my mouth rather than the warm blend of flavors that I'm used to . I could barely get past two bites and decided to try my sisters malai Kofta another favorite that I've had before from 4 different Indian restaurants. I was completely blown away that it tasted like a thick unseasoned hollandaise sauce almost like a puréed egg yoke with grainy falafel balls . Not the smooth Paneer Kofta with potato that I'm familiar with, the tikka masala pasta was tooo sweet chicken texture was off along with the mushy pasta it was probably the dish that was eaten the most of the three . The nann was great and the somosas were alright but sadly most of everything was tossed in the trash . Maybe there's too many ingredients on the menu to properly execute the dishes accordingly or maybe the chef isn't tasting the dishes that they're making either way as someone who's very versed in Indian cuisine and the versatility of different dishes based on the regions of India . These were simply not edible or good . Please go back to the drawing board and work on these recipes.

I do not often post reviews, but want to encourage more business their way…read more.. This is our favorite local Indian spot, hands down. I've tried a handful around the Lawrenceville/Snellville/Grayson area, and none come close. I've appreciate some good Indian cuisine for the better part of 20 years, and although I don't venture too far from my normal favorites, everything I've had here is good. I'm the prototypical samosa/chicken tikka/naan eater, and these favorites are excellent. Maybe throw in some Chicken 65, aloo palak, or veg korma and you got a solid family meal. Don't forget to order some rice, and make sure you let them know how spicy (even though my family wants no spice - they do that too!) The one downside is it can take a while. If you call at 6pm on a Saturday, expect to wait at least an hour. The thing is, the food is truly homemade and fresh, so it takes time. It's definitely worth it, but there are times when we just didn't prepare well in advance, or they are really busy because they cater too. Normal times you can have your food in about 45min. We mostly do takeout, as do most I think, so if you are in the area and looking to sit down to eat, I've never seen it completely packed, so you don't have to worry about waiting to get a table. Don't be thrown off by the minimal signage or limited if not no people sitting inside - it's a perfect place to enjoy some incredible Indian from a family owned mom&pop restaurant. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

My husband, my friend & I visited this spot for dinner and it was a weird experience…read more Pros are shorter, so here we go: Food arrived fast and looked very appetizing. I got the kothu parotta, my husband the Butter Chicken with Naan and my friend, the Kappa and Ulli Theeyal. I've had better kothu parottas but overall the food tasted good. Cons: Strike #1: While placing the order, the guy with the cap on was annoyed and spoke insensitively. He perfectly fit the description of the rude guy mentioned on Google reviews. My husband told me to let it slide as it was nearing closing time and yes, maybe the guy was anxious. Strike #2: He asked us the spice levels and when my friend said spice level 3/10, he smirked, laughed and asked if she is a Gujju (Folks from Gujarat, India who get stereotyped for their spice tolerance levels). She took it sportively and said yes. Strike #3: This was when I started feeling very uncomfortable. My friend was checking out the snacks they had on display, especially the Achappam (A sweet, flower-shaped snack that's popular in Kerala). While we were discussing it, the same guy came to us and said 'Gujjus usually like this snack'. She was about to purchase it but rather came back quietly to her seat. Later, she told me that his comment was the reason why she didn't make the purchase. Making stereotypical comments - Way to go Kerala Kitchen! Despite all these, my friend and my husband did quite enjoy the food. They just wanted a good meal and leave without any fuss. My husband even tipped the guy! I wish I'm half as nice as them.

This isn't ethiopian food. the authentic flavors simply are not here. Once you taste the real thing, this place won't even cross your mind again -- and that's no disrespect to the very kind owner and staff, but the food speaks for itself. I'm honestly shocked this restaurant has so many high reviews. I'm assuming the owner wants to accomodate the flavor palate of the type of clientelle in the area. I know for sure most people reviewing have never had actual East African food before. Authentic Ethiopian cuisine has bold, unmistakable spices and deep, layered flavor. This food was extremely mild, bland, and nowhere near authentic. It tasted like the dishes were made with basic black pepper, paprika, and turmeric instead of traditional spices like real berbere, mitmita, korerima (black cardamom), or mekelesha. These spices are what make Ethiopian food taste like Ethiopian food. Without them, it's just another stew. If you're truly looking for authentic Ethiopian food, go to a restaurant in the city. You will not regret it.

Butter chicken is absolutely amazing, the sizzling special salad with the chicken skewers is another favorite of mine. The ambiance is another great part, the place is very dimly lit with relaxing music and is present in a very old house. It makes you feel very at home. Highly recommended! Note - The lunch and dinner services are a bit different, at lunch you order butter chicken, receive rice, naan and a small salad. But at dinner, you order a protein and it only comes with rice, but you receive a much larger portion, everything else comes separately. But they're more than willing to provide a lunch portion during dinner, and vice versa, just worth keeping in mind.

OMG, it's take-out only (for now), but it was some of the best food I have ever eaten. If you're in the area, try it! Even better, everything is packaged fresh and ready to go/ pack for lunch/ take out onto the lake/ whatever. The trays are completely sealed, so you don't have to worry about a mess in your car/cooler/lunch bag. They even make their paneer fresh in-house and roast/blend their own spices and curries. I also enjoyed sipping my first ever ThumsUp cola. They have some other food stuffs and Indian wares for sale there too. Treat yo'self! For the best selection, order ahead-- but you can do so easily from their website. You will not be disappointed!
