I've tried a handful around the Lawrenceville/Snellville/Grayson area, and none come close. I've appreciate some good Indian cuisine for the better part of 20 years, and although I don't venture too far from my normal favorites, everything I've had here is good. I'm the prototypical samosa/chicken tikka/naan eater, and these favorites are excellent. Maybe throw in some Chicken 65, aloo palak, or veg korma and you got a solid family meal. Don't forget to order some rice, and make sure you let them know how spicy (even though my family wants no spice - they do that too!) The one downside is it can take a while. If you call at 6pm on a Saturday, expect to wait at least an hour. The thing is, the food is truly homemade and fresh, so it takes time. It's definitely worth it, but there are times when we just didn't prepare well in advance, or they are really busy because they cater too. Normal times you can have your food in about 45min. We mostly do takeout, as do most I think, so if you are in the area and looking to sit down to eat, I've never seen it completely packed, so you don't have to worry about waiting to get a table. Don't be thrown off by the minimal signage or limited if not no people sitting inside - it's a perfect place to enjoy some incredible Indian from a family owned mom&pop restaurant.
