5 Stars - A Game-Changing Experience at DXL Merrillville!…read more I want to take a moment to give a huge thank you to the incredible team at DXL in Merrillville--especially Connie and Scott--for completely changing my day for the better. After feeling ignored by four associates at Men's Wearhouse, my wife and I decided to head over to DXL. I've shopped at DXL before, but this visit was different--I needed my measurements taken. To my surprise, not only did they offer to take them, but they also had cutting-edge computer scanning technology to do it! Connie, who is an absolute pro at what she does, gave me the option to either go with the classic measuring tape or try out the scan. Naturally, I went with the tech--and Connie guided me through every step. But it didn't stop there. Once the measurements were done, Connie's true gift shined--she put together a variety of looks that I would have never thought of myself. I have several upcoming events, and she gave me stylish, versatile outfit combinations that just worked. Her sense of style, her attention to what flatters every body type, and her ability to pair colors and patterns is next-level. I walked out feeling confident and excited about my new wardrobe. Then we met Scott, who was also fantastic. What really stood out was when Scott--without us saying a word--apologized for the experience we had at Men's Wearhouse. I told him honestly: I'm glad they ignored us... because it brought us to DXL where Connie blew us away. Thanks to Connie and Scott, building a wardrobe for this new season in my life isn't a stress--it's something I'm now excited about. Connie has gained a customer for life.

Horrible customer service at this location. My husband tried to return a shirt there that did not…read morefit our son, the lady who he dealt with, a girl with purple hair, told him he could't return it giving him no explanation why and that it needed to be returned by mail. Now I didn't want to do that because with covid and the holidays shipping is currently taking forever no matter where you purchase from. So I decided to call the store, I spoke to a woman named Ginger, the supposed manager according to her, to see why they couldn't return my item, when I have done this before at another H&M and have had no problem. She told me a warning sign popped up on her screen and they couldn't return it. Then she tried telling me that H&M was the the third party and that the reason she couldn't return it was on Klarna and that I needed to speak with them if I wanted to return it. Um I'm not stupid, if anything Klarna is the third party, I'm buying directly from H&M so it's their return policy that I have to deal with not anyone else's. So I called H&M customer service and they called the store directly and spoke to this same person Ginger. Ginger told them something completely different than what she told me. She said they can't return items at that mall that are purchased with Klarna. Ok so why couldn't she just tell me that instead of giving me the run around?! I explained to the nice lady over the phone what Ginger tried telling me and the woman filed a complaint on her for lying to me the customer. Bottom line is i will never step foot in this H&M again, I would rather travel the 40 minutes to the one in Michigan City or to one in Illinois. When I was speaking to Ginger over the phone she was completely rude and kept talking over me. She even tried telling me that I probably couldn't return it because I haven't made the full payment yet?! If anyone knows how Klarna works you make payments over 8 weeks time, well over the 30 day return policy most stores have. Like I said she must have thought I was stupid. I'd advise anyone to stay away from this H&M and Ginger.

I have never gone into any Buckle anywhere, & I travel a lot, none has left such a lasting impression upon me as this one here‼ Jaylon is an extraordinary & exceptional employee‼‼ This young man not only took care of me, he has a wealth of knowledge for this store and products! I was so impressed with him that I ended up shopping with joy as he anticipated my needs, going above and beyond the call of duty in a spirit of excellence‼Frankly, I didn't realize how well the selections are here and also you get great value for your money. I had a reservation that I made on my app. It said on the app that my 2 shirts and a jacket were ready for pickup. So I go in the store to try them on and pay for them and they didn't have anything set aside for me even though the app says it was ready. The rep found my jacket in the back somewhere and said that they didn't have the black shirt I reserved at all and the red one was here but on a rack somewhere. So she pulled that and basically didn't say anything she just helped another lady with something else. I asked for a fitting room and then looked for some other things but nobody asked if I needed help looking for anything else. I asked the manager too when I went to checkout and he was busy looking at something in the front of the store or whatever he was looking at. And when I did ask about the other shirt the other rep I talked to before interjected and the manager didn't really say anything at all. Sooo, I hustled checked out and just went about my day. I guess they didn't want to make another sale ‍ What's the point of having the ability to reserve items on an app if they aren't going to actually hold it for you.

The worst place to get a suit or tuxedo masquerading as the best…read more My best friend and I had been here in October to order tuxes for her wedding and we were initially so excited because they had everything she wanted on relatively short notice--she wanted navy suits with grey vests, white shirts and brown shoes for her wedding in six weeks. They were even running some sort of BOGO, which made everything better since the guys wanted to buy their suits. Flash forward four weeks; the guys are trying to pick up their suits and there are NO vests. Apparently the vest they had ordered is out of stock. It always has been and was never going to be available in time for the wedding. But they were never notified of the mistake, the suits were just made ready without the vests and they found out during pick up. Their solution was to offer a different color vest, which was not what the bride wanted and truly would not have looked good with the suits already chosen. So, refunds were supposedly issued for the vests. Except they never got their refund and they had to go back AGAIN to have the refund issued. The whole experience was terrible and no one ever took charge to make the bride feel like they cared or were sorry for their error. Stay far away from Bacharach, especially when it comes to your most special days, because they don't care if they ruin it.
