I have shopped many times at this store and not sure what took me so long to write a review. The store is pretty big and they have clothing for the entire family here. The prices are pretty reasonable and on top of the already decent prices the sales are usually jaw dropping. Talk about organized, the place is pretty clean and well stocked . No searching thru a ton of mess or looking around for a sales associate to help you. read more

Horrible customer service at this location. My husband tried to return a shirt there that did not fit our son, the lady who he dealt with, a girl with purple hair, told him he could't return it giving him no explanation why and that it needed to be returned by mail. Now I didn't want to do that because with covid and the holidays shipping is currently taking forever no matter where you purchase from. So I decided to call the store, I spoke to a woman named Ginger, the supposed manager according to her, to see why they couldn't return my item, when I have done this before at another H&M and have had no problem. She told me a warning sign popped up on her screen and they couldn't return it. Then she tried telling me that H&M was the the third party and that the reason she couldn't return it was on Klarna and that I needed to speak with them if I wanted to return it. Um I'm not stupid, if anything Klarna is the third party, I'm buying directly from H&M so it's their return policy that I have to deal with not anyone else's. So I called H&M customer service and they called the store directly and spoke to this same person Ginger. Ginger told them something completely different than what she told me. She said they can't return items at that mall that are purchased with Klarna. Ok so why couldn't she just tell me that instead of giving me the run around?! I explained to the nice lady over the phone what Ginger tried telling me and the woman filed a complaint on her for lying to me the customer. Bottom line is i will never step foot in this H&M again, I would rather travel the 40 minutes to the one in Michigan City or to one in Illinois. When I was speaking to Ginger over the phone she was completely rude and kept talking over me. She even tried telling me that I probably couldn't return it because I haven't made the full payment yet?! If anyone knows how Klarna works you make payments over 8 weeks time, well over the 30 day return policy most stores have. Like I said she must have thought I was stupid. I'd advise anyone to stay away from this H&M and Ginger. read more

I get that your dressing rooms are unisex, but put DOORS not DRAPES! I am a woman, a man just opened my drape while I was changing! I had swimsuits with me that I was about to try on! There was no attendant in there, I felt violated! You need to respect privacy and enforce it by putting doors. I didn't make a big deal about it because I was still in shock! That's the last time I'll be shopping at H&M until you guys put doors with locks on them! read more

Probably only one decent representative there (the one guy who's super nice to everyone) I spend so much money at H&M, it's one of my favorite places to shop but just don't understand why everyone who works there is so bitter. My sisters and I shop there all the time and we're always super friendly because we understand the challenges of working in retail, but there's no excuse for constant rude employees. Have been shopping online and prefer that way more than shopping in store and dealing with terrible customer service. read more

Extremely disappointed in the experience I had today!! I purchased 3 pairs of pants for my child from the sales rack that indicates buy 2 get 1 free. When I get to the register they inform me that the pants on the rack are not actually on sale and they were told to stock them that way. Courtney the "visual" of the store was extremely rude and treated me in a very condescending manner. Being a business owner as well as a manager of another business I understand the meaning of customer service and of just treating people with common decency. When I questioned her on why these items were all stocked on a rack with a sales sign she stated she has to put them there even though they are not on sale. I asked her to write her name on a paper with the customer service number and she told me no so I laughed and said this is completely ridiculous so she called mall security on me and said I made her uncomfortable lol. Millennials I swear! What a ridiculous lack of customer service and maturity. Pay a few extra bucks and get yourself a decent store manager with a bit of experience. read more
