Instead of feeling valued as a paying customer, I felt talked down to and brushed off. There's a major difference between being busy and being disrespectful and this crossed into disrespectful. Professionalism and courtesy cost nothing, yet both seemed completely absent here. There are too many businesses out there that know how to treat customers properly to deal with this kind of behavior. I figured there had to be some talent in the Bay Area! My usual contact (Chamber of Commerce) told me about Saras and I called. We had a brief telephone conversation and found she could work within my time frame. She emailed a questionnaire that helped us both 'get on the same page'. She mailed a contract which wasn't a 10-15 pages of features selling an over priced 'marketing' agency! Her agreement was 2 pages summarizing what was expected from each party, plus a very good price! Direct, easy too communicate with, responsive. Addressed my apprehension...HIRED, (and glad I did)! The final product is great. Been out there about a six weeks... changing designs and hosts didn't lose any rankings... probably gained some!
