I like to support small businesses and I'm not one to complain much and let things slide but I was compelled to write about a recent disappointing experience at Capitol Printing. I sought out a professional printing service like Capitol for a wedding printing project. Their website advertises "We invite you to come in and introduce your printing project, as simple or complex as it may be...Bring your projects in any format or stage, from hard copy to digital files, from concept to completion. And we'll make it happen for you." is false advertisement because they COULD NOT complete my project without me providing instructions on how to print my PDFs! I wanted my menus and a QR code to be printed front and back- twice on one page on each side. I emailed the original PDF file thinking they could the job. But instead I had to re-save my files and instruct the person on email how to print out my PDFs. I was hoping not to do any thinking when requesting this printing job to be done but instead I ended up doing the work. I could have done this myself but I don't have the time to print out myself and I don't have a printer. I'm taking care of a baby, planning a wedding AND I'm a working Mom so time is precious!! The person at the store also wasn't as friendly and understanding either. I appreciate the quick responses via email but I wished I hadn't provided instructions on how to do your job. The only reason I come here is because it's super close to home. Looks like I will be taking my future printing needs elsewhere. read more

Small place but so much to offer! This place is tucked into a little shopping center behind Chevron, found it when I needed to drop off a FedEx package. The man helping me was nice but he couldn't print a simple 11x17 document. He ended up printing the wrong size. My spread speed sheet turn into a 22x34 made out of 4 sheets. He didn't know how to fit the document into one page and he printed 4 pages when it should've been just one page. Still charge me for all 4 pages as if I requested that $20.
