Got a spicy tuna roll and a spider roll. Tuna wasn't great and didn't finish spider roll because I think the crab might've been bad.

I have become a loyal costumer of the Miyuki Sushi thanks to the quality of the sushi, prompt delivery, and friendly service. I ordered sushi for small and large groups there and I was never disappointed. It was easy to place an order over the phone. The person on the other end gave recommendations on the number of items to order. My special requests, like "not spicy" and "no shrimp", were followed precisely. As far as cheap sushi restaurants are concerned, Miyuki is the best I've found in Boston. It's considerably better than its competitor down the block, who shall not be named. I've only had their maki, all of which have been very tasty. The cash deal, while only advertised inside the restaurant, is excellent- three maki, side salad, and miso soup for under fifteen bucks! One strange thing about this place- for some reason, all of the rolls I've ordered with avocado have been absolutely fantastic. I'm not sure who their supplier is, but if I'm getting perfectly ripe avocados in my sushi even more so than at a Mexican joint, they're doing something right. Anyhow- the guys here are friendly, prep is super fast, and I've never been disappointed by their product. As far as price to quality ratio goes for sushi, this is as good as it gets. I had a great experience at Miyuki and am so excited to have it in the neighborhood. I plan to be a regular. I took advantage of the cash deal ($9.95 for a salad, miso soup, and two rolls-- or $12.95 for the same with a third roll), and everything was on point. The miso soup was tasty, the salad was fresh (loved the dressing!), and the sushi was the best I've had in Brighton. I would highly recommend the Boston Maki Roll. I was also impressed that each roll came with eight pieces! I felt like it was a tremendous value. I ended the meal with a Thai iced tea (my first ever) and I already want another. The manager was super super nice! He told us all about how they select fish in small batches to ensure it's fresh daily. I was really impressed by the entire experience. Great takeout sushi for a reasonable price. Interesting menu selections along with the old favorites. Ordered color maki, spicy tuna and yellowtail/cucumber maki and yellowtail and salmon sashimi. Sashimi was fresh with nice thick slices (3 per order). Sushi was nicely packed with plenty of soy sauce, ginger and wasabi. Delicious, too. Delivery took a while but will chalk that up to it being Allston Christmas Eve. Delivery guy got lost looking for my place but we had a good laugh about it! The restaurant called a few times to ensure my delivery was going to be right due to my "no tempura" request on all rolls. Every roll ended up still coming filled to the brim with tempura (where's the fish?!) and the miso soup was like bath water with minimal to zero tofu, seaweed, or scallions; Just murky broth. I was famished (it was after a big skiing day), so I deconstructed the sushi as best I could and slurped down the tub of broth. Big disappointment and won't be ordering from here again or visiting their brick and mortar anytime soon. read more

I ordered this on Uber eats. I have a very bad gluten allergy, and requested no eel sauce on the volcano roll and no tempura crumb on the torched salmon. I even wrote ALLERGIC!!! And they still messed up the order. When I called to ask if I could swap out the order, they denied they did anything wrong, and said the notes I wrote didn't apply to that particular roll- as though I would be less allergic to eel sauce if it was on another roll. The manager was very unprofessional and rude, and kept yelling "NOT OUR FAULT" which was clearly his fault. Only offered to exchange the food after a long argument, in which they refused to accept any responsibility. I will not be returning. read more

This place is pretty new and we decided to give it a try. So glad we did, the food was delicious and the staff very friendly. The prices are very reasonable for sushi, and they have a few good deals you can go for if you want to stay on budget. We ordered the Fly Dragon, Caterpillar and Spicy Tuna Maki and they were all great, but I especially recommend the Fly Dragon Maki. Even though they were making up a huge delivery for a business order, they still offered us a special on the house which was very tasty. My husband and I travel for work and are. This place is literally the best. Excellent service and amazing sushi. Highly recommend the torched tuna and the steak maki. Make sure to try the torched sauce too. So good. It's also not very expensive if you're on a budget like me. One other thing that's cool is that you can customize maki rolls. I've never been to another place that does it. We ordered online, and they said it would take an hour to get to us. An hour and 15 minutes later, I called the restaurant as the tracking option said it was still being made. The person who answered said they the driver had left with our order but was stuck in traffic. 25 minutes after that, the delivery driver calls apologizing saying he just left the restaurant. I'm still waiting for our order and don't trust to call them anymore. I'm debating asking the online site for a refund and ignoring the delivery man when he gets here. This place is incredible. my dad and I went here at around 11PM. The workers were super friendly, the place was clean, and the portions were GIGANTIC. For less than 15 dollars per person we legitimately got SO much sushi, which by the way was delicious. I'm from nyc, and portions that big generally cost an upwards of 25 dollars. This place being open until 2 AM is really convenient, and I respect how hard the employees work at such late hours. Knocking off stars today after a horrible experience trying to have food delivered to my workplace again. Rather than bringing the food into the front desk as every other driver (from any restaurant, not just here) that's ever delivered to the office has had the common sense to do, he didn't even bother coming into the lobby where the secretary would have taken care of it. Instead, he stayed in the car and left after I didn't answer my phone. It's was over 2 hours from the time I originally ordered my food (late-afternoon on a weekday) until it arrived, and then the driver was mad at me because he had to come back. I'm very disappointed because the the food here is very good and everyone I've met until now who works here has been so nice, but this was too much of a mess to bother with delivery from here again. read more

I will give this place 3.5 stars. Let me first start with our appetizers. Had the beef Negi, and the house made Gyoza. Both of these were outstanding. The beef was tender and very flavorful. The Gyoza were light and delicate. Then we had the unagi. It was extremely fishy. Where I had to beg my date to eat hers. Thankfully she did. We then had the rainbow roll, California roll, the Charlie roll, all of them might as well been made out of paper. They were bland and not tasty. Thankful for wasabi and ginger.
