(The business card says "The Barber Shoppe," so I hope Howie is ok...) At any rate, I went to the aforementioned barber shop and was greeted by some nice people!!! I was also amazed by the shop itself; the place was laid out like the shop I used to get my hair cut when I was a kid on the Northwest Side of Chicago. Plus, there were many shelves along the walls filled with die-cast models of '55, '56 & '57 Chevys - cars and trucks. There were a couple GMCs, too! In the magazine rack were a couple hard-cover books about Mid-Fifties Chevrolets. Being an old gearhead and former car mechanic (among other auto-related occupations) I felt at home straight away! I was told my wait would be about 20 minutes, which was fine with me because it afforded me time to pour over the books in the magazine rack. When it was my turn I was greeted by a barber named Todd a gentleman with 33 years experience. We got into a conversation and I mentioned that I'm a musician and Todd told me that he is a drummer!!! I'll tell you if Todd plays drums like he cuts hair, he could walk into any venue and make the rhythm section shine. I got a fantastic haircut for a reasonable price that actually looked good on my misshaped head. (poor attempt at humor) sorry, I don't want to diminish the quality of the haircut I received - Todd is a skilled craftsman and good guy!! Everyone at The Barber Shoppe is nice and the prices are reasonable. The Barber Shoppe will be my 'Go-To' place from now on!!

She also makes sure she understands what exactly what you want. She goes so far above and beyond just a haircut its incredible. I know all of the hairstylist at the Chop Shop are incredible at their skill level watching the other customers leave with awesome cuts.
