The kind that reminds you why places like this matter, especially when you're out there trying to help and stay grounded at the same time. The hospitality hit different. Conversations turned into connections, and before we knew it, we were getting names of people in the area who could use a hand. I am not used to seeing olives and mushrooms mixed into chili, but these additions added some more texture to the chili. The mac salad was a big miss for me. I thought the macaroni was slightly overcooked, the salad lacked salt, and there was just too much mayo mixed in. I have been a regular customer since 1990…read more ( at least 3 owners) Not a large selection, it's a very small store, but they have the essentials and the prices aren't outrageous. The ambiance is close to the old school mom and pop style rural Hawaiian store. The current owners continue to be a big help to the local community.
