I went in for my very first massage ever with Laurie, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a…read morebetter experience. I was quite nervous going in, especially because it was during a very tender week for me with the upcoming one-year milestone of my dad's passing. This was actually a gift from my high school swim team, and I didn't really know what to expect. Laurie immediately put me at ease. Her presence is calming, and she has a way of making you feel safe and comfortable right away. Beyond her skill (which is excellent), what stood out most was how much care she brings into her work. It doesn't feel transactional at all--she genuinely seems to love what she does, you can feel that in her work. She helps you connect into your bodies needs! The experience ended up being surprisingly healing. I was able to release a lot of stress and grief I'd been holding onto, be really present and even felt a meaningful sense of connection and reflection during the session. I left feeling lighter, calmer, and deeply grateful. Highly recommend Laurie--not just for her skill, but for the atmosphere she creates. It's a truly connective and restorative experience. First massage ever with Laurie! Worth it!

I reached out to Heather through her website submission form and she responded pretty quickly to…read moresend a quote for a curly cut/style and set up an appointment. I was very happy with the price, especially since most "curly hair" salons will charge for a first-time consultation and then into the hundreds of dollars for a cut. I thought her quote was very affordable. The location was easy to find, but the street doors to the building are locked, so you need to go in through the parking lot and find the inside hall doors, which are unlocked. Her single room salon was very clean and organized. She was very thoughtful about the cut I wanted, and asked questions about how my hair usually behaves. She said that she believes that the person who knows your hair best is you, and I really appreciated that, because I've definitely had stylists in the past who have heard me, and then gone ahead to give me whatever cut they felt like. I was hoping that adding layers and taking off some length would help my wider 2B/2C curls shrink and give my hair more volume, and the results started immediately and continued into a few days after the cut. My hair feels easier to wash, style, and manage in general, and it maintains its look for longer. Heather recommended some products she likes, but she didn't push for me to buy them, which is another thing I've experienced in other salons. The appointment lasted about 90 minutes. Overall, it was a really great experience--one of the best that I've had. Heather was very friendly to talk with, and very detail-oriented. :)

Anyway, this haircut is everything. Even with my hair just air drying, my curls have never looked better. I'm so happy with how everything turned out. Heather is great to talk with, good banter, and just a very calming vibe. I can't wait to keep coming back.

This place is NOT just another strip mall nail salon, they are a high-quality, professional place…read morethat actually cares about their work product. The woman who runs it actually took the time to explain to me the various types of manicures and the pros and cons of each. I have had many, many very terrible experiences at nail salons. I've had every type of manicure under the sun- simple gel polish, acrylic, gel X, and now dip with tips. One very popular salon gave me an extremely nasty fungal infection. It took a YEAR for my nails to heal AND I had to take medication! So many salons clearly run just a business of scale and speed. They church through as many clients as they can as fast as possible and it doesn't matter how high you tip, it doesn't seem to make any difference whatsoever. They don't seem to care at all if the manicure lasts or how it looks. Why so many of these crappy salons continue to stay in business is a mystery to me. This salon felt far better in terms of the quality of my result and the customer service I received. They don't even charge prices higher than all the others. Before Salon Savi I went to yet another salon and got a brand new set of Gel X nails. Within four hours one nail fell off, and within a day or two they had all fallen off. They told me to come back and get them repaired and absolutely refused to give me a refund or EVEN a discount an my next service. Sadly, I've been treated this way at many "strip mall" salons. From now on, I will only go to Salon Savi or I will just have my teenage daughter do my nails.

Not only was I overdue for a cut but the super blonde ombre balayage needed to go because summer was over. I was desperate but and didn't want to settle for a mediocre stylist/salon, so I got on yelp and googled "hair" in the seattle area and that when I found Robert and was completely INLOVE with his work and technique. When I walked in I was welcome with Robert infectious smile and warm personality. He listened to what I wanted in a cut and color and PERFECTED IT! God blessss this man and his shears! Oh ladiesss, my cut and balayage costed 60% LESS than what I'm use to paying at my original salon. Winning! :)

I…read moredon't blame it on the hair stylist because when I was describing what I wanted the first time, I was a bit reluctant to truly "unleash the dye" and go for a dyed look. It was my first dying experience and I think Robert took that to heart and wanted to let me take baby steps with my hair, after all, you can always go lighter if you want! After a few days of my new color, I realized I can probably go lighter. I contacted the salon to see if they had a deal for a redo or lightening up. They were so willing to have me come back to get my hair exactly how I wanted it and I was very impressed with their customer service. This time, I felt I could really trust Robert to do his thang, and work his magic on my hair and yes yes he worked it!! :)
