It's been a year since my mother was under hospice care at Menorah in Brooklyn. I should have written a review a long time ago, but it was too painful at the time. I want to say that from the minute her doctor recommended hospice care, MJHS was absolutely wonderful! From the doctors to the administrative staff, they were all so attentive and caring. I can't say enough about everyone. Even though my mother only lasted six days there, they were so helpful, even afterwards and the past year. I can't thank them enough. read more

The experience with them was so bad except their grieving counselor who is a really knowledgeable person. My mom's death could have been all kinds of levels of peaceful. She was well taken care of at home. A few days before her death they sent some idiot, I believe they claimed she was a "nurse", who came in with the attitude that we were trying to "get over" and get help with hospice care. Any idiotic could see that my mom was unresponsive. Well then how did you feed her if she was unresponsive? Because my mom somehow would get up and mechanically chew. And as long as she was chewing, we had to keep feeding her. But she wouldn't stay up more than a few minutes and it was a few bites. But you said she was unresponsive and she's still eating? How? My mom always ate, even until the last day before she died, she took liquid food. How my mom did that I do not know. I just know that's what she did. She also suddenly came "back" for a weekend out of nowhere. She kept her eyes open for long periods of time and even suddenly said words she hadn't said in months. All these visitors came and my mom stayed up for their visit. Then as quick as she did that, she went right back out. You couldn't rouse her at all. It was quite the surprise. Anyway, back to the visit, the incapable idiot and that is what she is, I'm not being mean here, decides we are "faking it" and begins to try to rouse my mom constantly pushing her shoulders. Saying her name repeatedly. Because yes we are faking my 85 year old mom with Alzheimer's death. A woman who hasn't woke up for two weeks. But you keep saying she hasnt woken up for two weeks? No she has not except to eat for a minute but she's just chewing, she's not actually awake. It was very mechanical and hard to explain. My mom's brain hadn't shut off her chewing mechanism during Alzheimer's at all. She ate every meal. But you just said she hasn't woken up for two weeks so how is she eating? The same question again??? I'm in full panic that my mom is dying and you're questioning if I'm lying? Are you kidding me? Any idiot can see my mom is clearly dying. I ended up screaming at the "nurse" that my mom is dying and this is stressful and I'm getting no help and then....she gaslit me. She actually gaslit me. That I should not be screaming in front of my mom. Because she can hear us. I said my mom is given the best care and you will not gaslight me. You idiot, you just spent 15 mins trying to rouse an unconscious woman. How can she be unconscious if she ate? I'm yelling. Are we doing that again? It's a word. I am not a professional, I don't know what the word is. But you're saying shes unconscious so she can not eat? My head was just hurting by this point. She finally decided that my mom was dying AND IN A WEEK they will send an aide. My mom didn't have a week and I could see that clear as day. She actually made it 10 days. At some point I said nevermind my mom won't be here for the aide to come. And we hired the aide we were using when we took vacations. I can not say this enough.The only people who think this place is great are people who put their parents in a home and don't visit them often. They are on the phone with this place who is telling them things were wonderful. Even on the day my mom died, 10 days after the yelling incident, we got so little help. Then finally the day of, package with the directions for morphine has no number indicating how often to give it. It's supposed to be every one hour so they just leave it blank. Well how the heck is any average person supposed to know that? Write in the number like you're supposed to. To say incompetent is kind. My mom did not die the most peaceful death. I did it alone. And that requires a lot of therapy. Death is not a pretty event, it could have been better, it wasn't. My mom was up all night screaming because we had to have our own aide in while waiting for theirs. Our aide was not trained in death but she didn't tell us that. I would have stayed if she had just told me that. I'm good at figuring things out. She did not think to call me while my mom moaned at the top of her lungs all night. I don't know if it was a death moan or what but apparently it was very loud. I came by at 7am and missed several doses of morphine while waiting for my phone call to be returned, even when I said she was dying. They don't actually believe you when you say your loved one is dying. They think if they eat they can't be. Well, yes they can idiots. I can't recommend them and I mean exactly what I'm saying when I sat idiots. These people are not smart enough to run or give hospice. The entire industry is full of burn outs and aides without educations making minimum wage. Run. Don't walk. Run. There really is no good system for dying people. It's not a broken system, it doesn't exist. read more

I also want to acknowledge his Aide Rasheen G. who took great care of my dad. We were truly blessed to have this team by our side. The worst. They made the most stressful time of my life more stressful. My mom was put under there care and from day 1 everyday they would change the ruling of was she staying in hospital or going to a nursing home. I didn't know from day to day where I would find my mother. They also said they would be with her 24/7 well came the weekend no one was around but me. When she got extremely worse on Sunday still no one came. Thank God I was there for my mothers passing. I constantly get mail from them saying how they care. They don't care about anything but adding additonal stress to people. I really wish you would stop sending the bullshit mail. You guys dont care at all. Now when I see mail comes I don't even open it it goes right through the shredder. Please for your family or friends sake stay away from this company. read more

I have to say my experience with them was one of the worst. I spoke to a few people who have dealt with Hospice(not MJHS) and shared their experiences and what I was to expect because I honestly had no idea. I will admit getting the hospital bed was the easiest part about this process. The admissions nurse was late BUT I don't fault them because it's COVID and there is a nursing shortage and I do understand each patients care and needs are different. But this nurse, first thing out of her mouth when she entered my mothers home was along the lines of "so what's the vaccination status or mask status". I can't remember her exact words. So I basically said "well my moms dying so I guess you don't need to wear a mask" BUT honestly a family should have never been put in that position and been asked that question. You're a nurse for gods sake. (Her name was Barbara) She wasn't the most compassionate nurse to deal with and trust me I dealt with many nurses in the past three years of my moms cancer so I know what I'm speaking about. During COVID I gained a whole newfound respect for healthcare workers(not that I didn't respect them before) because this has been tough. And I always take that into consideration before I would respond to an issue. But this nurse just did not have bedside manner. She was tired and hungry and just wanted to get home to her husband. Trust me if my sister n brother we're not at the house I would have told this woman to leave and would have went with a different hospice service. That's how mad she made me. She showed zero compassion(longer story to this comment but wont share as too long to type) and just kept emphasizing to read the booklet. That damn booklet was etched in my head for the short time we had to deal with this. My mom got home on a Tuesday and passed that Sunday so this is how short of a hospice service it was. My mom started having the normal complications (not able to take meds). Called the number and they told us how to give my mom the Hydromorphone. But kept being told "read the booklet" These people expected us to know what the "rattling" sound is supposed to be. I called when I thought it was under their definition to be told "does she have oxygen?" No one told me that we could have oxygen at all. And quite frankly NO ONE helped us at all with what equipment was really needed. We were just simply asked what do we want, like we know cause we go through this on a daily??? After I told this nurse no I don't have oxygen they then told us to administer this other med. which we did. Now mind you when this "rattling" breathing occurs it's pretty much the end of life BUT do you think we knew that, NO. But THEY know this and do you think they sent a nurse out to us that morning NO. (My mom died two hours later). Then called them back cause we weren't a 100% sure if she was passed and they asked us did we want a nurse to come because in Queens it's not mandated to send someone. And we were to just give them the time of death and we should call funeral parlor and have them take it from there. What family deserved that treatment??!!?? I am still so angry about this. No nurse came to help clean mom up or get her ready for the funeral parlor like others had experienced. Then it took over a week to get them to come pick up the equipment and when I spoke to others, most come The next day to get it. Seriously I would stay clear of MJHS and really look into other hospice services. No family should go through what my family has gone through. read more

Putting this up high. If you want to file a complaint about the care you received from this or any other home healthcare agency you can reach out to: homecare@health.ny.gov Adding some thoughts here. I think Jared S.'s review sums this agency up pretty well. My husband spent hours making requests to a Kafka-esque bureaucracy and always there was some error with the paperwork and somehow it was our job to keep calling and asking to get some very basic requests done. Many requests never were answered, like the request for 24-hour care that the case manager said we qualified for but never got because he never managed to finish the paperwork. Instead of spending time with a loved family member you will spend your time fighting to get them service. Reading these reviews here, its clear this was an issue with MJHS well before the pandemic. The other agencies they contract out to were also vastly incompetent (see the ambulance response when our relative fell) or the hospice aide that wore her mask below her nose and insisted on showing our relative conspiracy videos on how Covid was a hoax in early 2021. I've seen better and at least minimally acceptable hospice care and this is definitely not it. read more

Zero stars. My father was on hospice with MJHS after suffering from Covid. I have hesitated to write this but if it helps another person , it is my wish you read this and seek another agency. My father passed a few months ago in Assisted Living. He was on hospice and the 4 days before passing I noticed there were changes. A visiting nurse said" no change" however I knew better. Long story short on my fathers final morning he has labored breathing. I called MHJS many times. I was advised that no one could get there until noon. It was 8 am. They said there should be oxygen in his room that was delivered the prior week. My father's aide said nothing was delivered plus I was there daily. Two hours later they said " open the refrigerator there should be a little white box of Morphine ". I said I would never give my father morphine since I was never advised or trained to administer this end of life drug. My understanding is that a family member was supposed to be trained to administer if needed. Hence, my father passed in my arms with his personal 24 hour aide. MHJS failed to give my dear father, an esteemed Rabbi the care that he so greatly needed as he so unconditionally gave to many during his lifetime. I did report this to upper management and they said they were going to do a better job training staff. Never heard from them again. They are horrific and my experience with this horrendous hospice agency left me with a broken heart. They do not know what they are doing and completely disorganized. Please do not place your loved ones in their care, they deserve better. read more

Perhaps our family benefited from new management at MJHS, because our experience with them was very good. A thoughtful and competent nurse, guided by a MJHS physician, stayed in contact with us as our mother's cancer advanced. Her pain medication was managed to make her as comfortable as possible toward the end. read more

I am shocked to see all the negative ratings of MJHS. I suppose people don't normally take the time to write a positive review of anything, much less hospice but I have to share my experience. My father received hospice care in his home (independent living) and not in a nursing home. My father was diagnosed with lung cancer 26 months ago and entered hospice a month before he died. We were connected with MJHS right before Thanksgiving 2017 when he was hospitalized with a collapsed lung. I have no idea how we were placed with them but I believe when we told the hospital my father was Jewish they selected them. I had been doing so much on my own that to have them sweep in and take charge in a compassionate, respectful way relived a huge burden as I had never cared for a dying loved one before. They came to our home on Thanksgiving for intake and from there we were supported by a skilled, compassionate and communicative social worker, nurse, Rabbi and physician. I called at all hours in my father's final months as I navigated a difficult decline and they showed up as promised within 1-2 hours of each call to treat acute ailments and address my fears and concerns. My father wanted to pass with dignity in his own home. All of his wishes were respected. In his final night, they had sent an LPN and RN to oversee the LPN. The LPN spent the night and was able to get ahead of the pain and agitation to make sure my father was comfortable. I cried and cried for hours as we said I love you back and forth. I made sure he could say goodbye on the phone to my siblings. I have regrets about not spending that final night with him (he passed 6 hours after I left) but I know he was well cared for through the night. I know my father, who had initially been opposed to hospice due to the reality of facing death but also loved the team we worked with. In my father's building he also had an aide (not through hospice) so we had that additional support as I work full-time. Without MJHS I am not sure what we would have done. The Rabbi was truly wonderful. My father met with him several times, I was able to meet with him and my father asked him to preside over the funeral service which he said would be an honor. He did an amazing job. My deep gratitude especially for Rabbi Charles, our social worker Andrea and nurse Kate. I am incredibly grateful for all MJHS provided for my father and my family for end of life care. I would recommend them highly to any family who may need these services. read more

Let me preface this review by saying that I am a legit oncology nurse who has seen and taken care of numerous patients who were in hospice or comfort care. My grandfather was unfortunately in home hospice care under MJHS. Within 12 hours of arriving from the hospital, my grandfather passed away. He went from having stable vital signs albeit needing oxygen requirements, to passing away. We were sent home with a oxygen tank that had 5 L left and also an oxygen machine (tbh not exactly familiar with this). We also didn't have all the meds we needed to have my grandpa pass a peaceful death. To those who are unaware, most people would have some type of anxiety or pain medication to make their dying more peaceful and painless. I was missing Ativan and morphine. The two key medications. Anyways, within 5 hours of my grandfather arriving home, a home hospice nurse came to assess him and generally do what her job entails. A little TMI but my grandfather had a bowel movement and he needed to be cleaned. This nurse literally wiped him ONCE and tried to leave it at that. Luckily we were there to observe this. In my grandfathers last few hours alive, his own granddaughter had to wipe his ass clean since the nurse they hired was so damn incompetent and lazy. As the night went on, my grandfathers oxygen tank became empty and the oxygen machine no longer worked. At this point my grandfather was incredibly hypoxic, being without his needed oxygen for hours. He eventually passed away with no meds to make him feel less in pain and less anxious. Not only that, but the home hospice nurse took 6 hours to come after we called her. To rub salt in my wound, I recieve mail from this horrible institution at least twice a month since March 2021, as to remind me of how incompetent they were and how they hastened my grandfathers death. Please stop fucking sending me mail. read more

If one of your loved ones is sick and needs hospice care, I beg of you, for their sake, do not subject them to MJHS Hospice care. I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy. My mother was sent home on hospice, and after receiving recommendations from friends, we selected MJHS. It was a terrible decision. MJHS is an infuriatingly bureaucratic organization, utterly incompetent, designed to give the absolute minimum care possible, and to save money at every turn. They do not care about the patients whose lives they exercise control over; they care about their bottom line. With MJHS, getting even the simplest, most critical requests done is unacceptably slow. Need a refill of morphine? That will take 24 hours; hope you didn't run out. Ran out of Atropine on a Friday? Sorry, we can't handle that until Monday. Need a new piece of medical equipment? You'll probably have to call multiple times and be extremely persistent before anyone will lift a finger. Here's what happens when you call MJHS. You will reach a customer service agent, who is not medically trained, who is not able to do anything. The only thing that person can do is to take a message. They will then, supposedly, pass that message on to a nurse, who will supposedly do something about it. In many cases, the nurse can't do anything either, so they will supposedly pass the message onto a doctor, who will pass a response back to the nurse, who will then pass a response back to the customer service agent, who may decide to call you. Of course, that usually doesn't happen, and by the time it does, the message has usually been so garbled that they got it all wrong, and you will have to start the whole process again. I want to be clear that my experience was not limited to a few bad apples. I probably interacted with two dozen MJHS employees and almost all of them were bad. This organization is fundamentally broken. Dealing with MJHS is similar to dealing with a large impersonal company like AT&T or Verizon. Ask yourself: do you want to trust Verizon's customer support line with the care of your loved one? read more

My mother has been on hospice for 5 months now and we have not seen a doctor. The nurses aren't even registered nurses and they don't seem to know how to read something as simple as a chart. When someone says they are in pain and can't keep food down and they say to try to eat and do nothing about it. I've never been so disappointed and disgusted with a company in my life. When I ask to speak to a manager they tell me they can't give me that information. When we ask a nurse to call a doctor, she tells us her phone is dead and doesn't know the number. How can you sleep at night when my mother's comfort is just ignored day in and day out. I've never seen such terrible care. read more

After many months of home care (also excellently provided by MJHS), I got a call from one of the home care staff that she arrived to find my father on the floor unresponsive. When EMS arrived, he was taken immediately to the hospital. Upon arriving at the hospital, I found him incoherent and the neurology staff was preparing me for bad news. After 2 days, they told me of the terminal diagnosis and expected that he would last a few weeks to a month at best, and suggested that he would be most comfortable under hospice care and that there we no longer any medical steps to be taken. Speaking with the social worker, she confirmed that MJHS Hospice was a well regarded institution and we made arrangements to transfer him to their hospice in Brooklyn. The MJHS Hospice staff worked with the social worker to execute the transfer flawlessly and when I arrive, he was resting peacefully. The nursing staff was very attentive to his needs and really made me feel as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. The chief medical officer, the rabbi, and everyone there all take great care to inform me and comfort me during this difficult time. The facilities there are beautiful. Each one bedroom apartment is spacious with a wonderful view and there are dining rooms, libraries and play areas for children. Upon his passing, the transfer to the funeral home was executed quickly and efficiently and their bereavement counselors constantly checked in on me. I can't say enough positive things about my experience and would recommend MJHS highly for those in need. read more

Just overheard someone from hospice call the funeral director to dress him down for doing his job. My aunt just passed and we all wanted to make sure if someone will come pronounce her death. The person that call was accusing the funeral director of giving us a hard time when all we did was call to confirm if a nurse needed to come to pronounce. My aunt wasn't in hospice for long, but it was a disorganized transition. We received more compassion from the funeral home than from this agency. read more

Feel compelled to share an extraordinarily positive experience with the MJHS home hospice team who recently cared for my friend, Mary Anne, during the final six months of her life. Despite the steady deterioration in Mary Anne's health due to multiple sclerosis, none of the hospice caregivers ever treated it like a hopeless situation. To the contrary, they worked diligently and passionately, day in and day out, to tend to all of Mary Anne's physical and emotional needs and promote the highest quality of life possible. They always treated Mary Anne like a person, and not just a patient. The care plan that was put in place included regular visits from a primary care physician, physical therapist, occupational therapist, music therapist, bedside companion, home healthcare aide, social worker and supervising nurse. These professionals not only contributed their clinical skills, but brought much-needed comfort and solace during an extremely trying time. They made it a point to communicate with me (as healthcare proxy) regularly, and explain what to expect at every step. They shared both laughs and tears with Mary Anne's family/friends, and were a true source of comfort and strength during a painful period. Thanks to the dedication, compassion and support of the MJHS team, we felt confident that no stone was left unturned in caring for Mary Anne during her final days. I will keep this short because writing about the passing of my mom is still too painful. She passed in late August 2017 from colon cancer that had spread throughout her body. The treatment mom received was as good as we could expect for what was going on with her. The nurses who came, (Lenke in particular) were so kind and helpful to me and so incredibly gentle and caring towards my mother. Mom was happy with them and while she could be she was very happy with the care she (and I) got. It is a very difficult time but they all helped make it easier. Was it 100 perfect, no. I can't imagine that end of life care is ever going to run "smoothly". However, in such a trying time the visiting nurses, the on call nurses and the 24 hotline were all so available to us and helped us through this terrible time. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS AGENCY..I have a 9 month old baby special needs , i met with them MJHS @ the hospital in which they presented themselves as professional and specializing in pads (kids) Well every nurse from LPN, to RN came and w=hen they arrived they said oh you have a child? i thought it was an elderly person "they tricked me again" this is what they all say. They pass out when supposed tone watching the baby, on the phone babbling with friends, I found a nurse on you tube trying to figure out how to work babes feeding tube! this is scary, and a huge liability (Gave baby wrong meds) I am going to the appropriate authorities they should have their license yanked. They are not what they present themselves to be . None of the nurses want to work pads thats why they have a hard time keeping the same nurse and getting you a nurse. BE WARNED read more

My mother walked into BoronPark for pain management, fell, and came home practically a vegetable within 6 days. I am 4 days into the MJHS system with my mom. The best thing is the phone number that gets you a nurse anytime on the line. That has been a godsend. In real life, this company takes on too many patients for too few nurses and the ball has been dropped every day. Terribly disorganized. I would hope there are other, more well run services, though I am ready for disappointment. Healthcare in the US seems to suck. read more

My mother, unfortunately was not one of the lucky ones who didn't suffer at the end of life. For 6 horrible years she suffered from just about anything bad nature can throw someone's way- but none were fatal in nature - so suffering for this lovely vibrant tough New York City girl was long and drawn out. Early on in the 6 years I brought in MJHS, they "promised the moon and the stars" and delivered the entire universe! For the initial years I kept my mother in her apartment on 3rd avenue where she was familiar in her own home. I am an only child who was the sole caregiver and I also was an executive at a large corporation that was extremely demanding and stressful- yet without MJHS I do not know how I could have managed. I had a direct line to many people, of many different functions including someone at HQ who kept mom on her radar the entire 6 years. EVERYONE went above and beyond to make my mother's and my life as stress and pain free as possible. From medical needs, patient care to administrative help...everyone gets an A+ at MJHS. When the end was really starting to show we moved mom to the Riverdale hospice facility. It was clean, no horrible nursing home smell, the room was enormous and comfortable. My mother was mostly mentally gone, but I was not- I recall each interaction vividly and my mother and I received the finest care another group of human beings can do for another. MJHS Hospice provided outstanding care for my mother in her home for a year and a half as she slowing declined and finally passed due to complications from dementia, at age 99. During that time, we had excellent clinical care from the doctor (via home visits, televisits during covid, and phone calls), who gave us invaluable medical advice as well as reassurance and encouragement. The nurse we had for well over a year was very skilled, conscientious and caring. She not only solved many medical issues and taught us how to care for our mother, but she also referred us to an outside specialist that resolved a very burdensome condition. She had impeccable standards and close attention to detail, while being friendly, kind and compassionate. When we had to call the 24/7 emergency service late one Sunday, the nurse on the phone was terrific, walked us through steps to take, sent medication late at night, called back to check in and sent a nurse to the house who arrived quickly and helped tremendously during a fraughtful night. Last but not least, when our longtime nurse was reassigned during the last few weeks of my mother's life, her supervising nurse took over. She came often, provided expert care, was attuned to all our needs and was tremendously reassuring. She even managed to make us smile, despite the dire circumstances. I could not have asked for more from a hospice service. We experienced MJHS not as a bureaucracy but as a service made up of expert and caring employees. read more

My mother used the MJHS Hospice during the last few weeks of her life. We found the nurses and the entire organization professional and amazingly compassionate.They made my mother and us feel like we were family. They truly do g-ds work. read more

My father died of colon cancer in 2009, he spent his last few days in this hospice and they treated him like an animal. They nurses and attendants were ruse, unpleasant, non caring and had not compassion. under the treatment of Doctor Yiquing Xu in Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn NY. My father was 64 years old when he dies of cancer, he had a short battle with cancer and only lived months. We were approached by on the Hospice reps at the Maimonides hospital, my father was in great pain, and in a disgusting room in Maimonides, so when the rep said they would provide home care or hospice care and manage his pain, I thought it would be great. I asked for the rep to make sure his insurance covered the home care and hospice care, he reassured me and said they would. My sick and dying father did not trust him and said he was a like a car sales man, and my beloved father turned out to be right. We got billed and hassled by them to pay for in-home care because they later (covnetly0 discovered that his insurance did not cover it. They prescribed tons of medication which were very confusing that we were supposed to give him, we could not manage his care at home so we asked Met Jewish Hospice to admit him, this was a very hard decision for us to make and we wanted his last days to be spend being comfortable and pain. He spent his last few days at the hospice, which was depressing and horrible. The addendnents and nurses all had bad attitudes, they had no compassion or care, they tied up my father to a chair one night like a prisoner and kept him in the hall, like, because the nurse and attendant could not be bothered by the noises he was making. The man was dying, but the stupid staff did to care. I wish we had never ever admitted him there or even believed a word the rep said. read more

My father had home hospice, and the service by MJHS was so very awful and inhumane, we had to hire someone privately. Their "care packages" and medication arrived at least one day after he was home. He could not swallow, and they continued to send oral meds. The aid was scheduled to come a week after he arrived home, when we all knew he only had days left. They never got there. The phone contact was not at all helpful, and, in short, the care was not care at all. It was absolutely inhumane. If my 81 year old mother could not afford to hire help, which is what we were forced to do, my father would have died with open sores, laying in his own feces. This place should be closed down. Shame on them. (PS: The day AFTER their nurse came to pronounce him, we received a shipment of morphine and a phone call asking how my father was doing and if we needed an aid.) read more

Very low quality of care for clients. Stuff tends to forget or ignore doctor's instructions. Extremely uncomfortable and sometimes unsafe atmosphere for people who are helpless. Noisy rooms. No considerations for feelings of patients and their relatives. read more

My mom who died of cancer was in MJHS hospice at home but then her nausea and vomiting were out of control so we brought her to their facility in the Bronx. She was there for days vomiting constantly, receiving the same meds day in and day out that weren't working until finally, she had for three days in a row the only nurse who had the compassion and sense to take the time and tell the doctor what she needed. Less than 8 hours after she made the changes, the vomiting stopped and mom was able to eat little bits at a time and keep it down. We dreaded each change of shift because we knew if mom got certain nurses she'd be right back to square one. I'll never forget this nurse named Jen who rolled her eyes at her co-worker when my Dad went and asked for help getting my mom comfortable. And she wouldn't even be working-just saying catty things about other coworkers. When we didn't have to ask two or three times, she would take a minimum of ten minutes to come to the room. It always seemed like there wasn't enough help. Our family has a lot of people in the healthcare field and so we did everything we could to help mom short of giving her medications. And another thing, we were just horrified when we would realize that the same nurse would be working for over 24 hours straight. This happened several times in the month that my mom was a patient there. I asked one nurse about that and she just shrugged and said someone was sick and no one could come. Seems like somethings really wrong if people are regularly working over 24 hours straight. We were in crisis mode and not able to analyze the situation clearly. But with 20/20 hindsight we were definitely sold a bill of goods. read more
