I was told I could pick her remains that Friday, I had to call, "Megan" answered, and said she would check on it, 10 minutes later she said they were waiting for the urn, as there was a back order in them, I said I was making her urn and asked if I could come get her remains as they put them in a bag. Like they do with humans' remains. She said she would ask. 18 minutes later, she said sorry for the wait, but unfortunately, we can't. I showed up the next day, which was Saturday with my urn, and the manager said she wasn't sure if Layla, my female pup, was cremated yet or not. Let me call the processor. she came back and said he was 3 minutes away; 20 minutes later, she came out of her office to say layla had not been cremated due to maintenance, and they don't know when she would be cremated. These people make you think they care; they care about getting your money, dog, cat, or any animal that have owners who care so much that they are willing to bring them to a place to have them cremated so they can bring them back to the place they were part of that family for many years and viewed as family should be treated with the same professionalism and respect as someone who is having a human cremated. It's a dog to you or a cat, but the person paying a lot of money to have this service performed does not view that animal like that. They are part of a family; they love deeper than a person, they have feelings, they feel pain, and they will always love you no matter what. Lies from a place that is supposed to have compassion and professionalism should not take your money and then lie to you. The lady who took my money also tried to upsell me, with guilt by saying this is our basic lowest quality option as she showed me the binder. I was offered no date or time frame. My sweet pup would be ready for me to pick her up. The skinny blonde manager first door on leftsode when you walk in from the back parking lot said I don't know when we will be able to finish her. Finish her? She said ya, I can't give you a date. Why because she is viewed to you as a dog? My pain and hurt feelings from the loss of my pup means nothing to these people who are only driven my money.

Ordered Flowers for my Friend's Mother's service. Got a confirmation that the order was placed and…read moreFlorist telephone number. I called the Florist 3 days before the service to make sure that the flowers would be there and would be what the picture indicated. My Friend's Mom liked purple and I wanted to make sure the arrangement had purple. The Lady assured me that it was being taken care of and would be there for the August 5th service. A $335 charge was made to my card. I asked my Friend's Wife to take a picture of the arrangement so I could share it with our Golf group that was sending the arrangement. On August 7th I received an email stating that my $335 would be refunded with no further explanation. I called the Florist and asked why I was being refunded and if in fact the flowers were delivered. I gave her the confirmation number. She stated that they could not fill the order and advised Parsons before the service. I then contacted Parsons and they advised that it was the Florist fault (Of Course) and that after they were notified by my Friend's Wife that the Flowers were not at the Funeral, a refund was submitted. No prior call and no email that the flowers would not be there for the service so that I could make other plans. My suspicion is that I would not have known nor received a refund if my Friend's Wife had not noticed that the flowers were not at the service. I requested that Parson's Owner or Manager contact me directly but 2 days have past and I have not received any correspondence. I guess they felt the refund cured the problem. I am from the South and am used to Funeral Services nad their Staff being very professional and understanding, especially during a period of bereavement. If Parsons can't get the flowers to the service that were ordered on their website, I can imagine how they run the rest of their business. After reading the rest of the reviews I cannot understand how Parsons is in business.

Do not go here if you want professional, caring service. My extended family and myself have used…read moreParsons for several years and always received excellent service. NOT NOW! I used them recently for my wonderful husband. They are only interested in money. I had to call them about every detail to ensure that the funeral was going to be held. (I paid them upfront) After payment, NO communication from them!! The day prior to the service, no one had called to make final details, I had to call them, make an appointment to ensure that all was ok. It was at this point that little Miss Priss (she called herself a Funeral Director) informed me that the graveside service for my husband would only have 5 chairs!!! I previously discussed with her that my husband was well liked and there would be a lot of people, around 75 and expected that this many chairs would be provided........WRONG!! When I protested, she just stared at me.......did nothing!!!! My daughter and I had to rush and search and pay for chair rental-this is less than 24 hours before my husband's funeral. Additionally they did not even have his body ready, had not dressed him. I refused to leave Parsons until I saw him dressed and ready to go. We waited for a couple hours. I did not trust them to do this unless I verified it myself. I really dont think they would have taken care of him if I had not insisted. I DO NOT trust this funeral home any longer and will never use them again!! They are nothing but greedy obsessed people only worried about their morning coffee. Very immature and absolutely uncaring in any way. I can't say enoughabout their coldness, Unbelieveable.
