Once we stepped into the range, Soni was there to guide us through the machinations of what was just explained to ensure that we were proceeding cautiously and safely. The firing experience was excellent. So much trepidation before pulling the trigger for the first time. But my wife and I both eased in, respected the equipment and environment and followed Soni's recommendations as far as grip, stance, etc. We both shot a .22 and a 9mm and even got to walk away with our cardboard target as a memory. The bonus add-on was that if you partake in the package, they offer a 25% discount off your bill at Suds McGuires (right across the street). Different way to spend an evening and I couldn't recommend this establishment, for putting us at ease while also instilling confidence, more.

I was lucky enough to get a discounted season pass prior to season starting. I would suggest anyone who plans on playing several times that you get the season pass even at standard cost. They have plenty of ref's and they do a pretty good job of keeping games rotating quickly. They even have items for sale in the event you forgot something or you simply feel like buying paintball related stuff. I won't say it's a negative since it seems like it's what most parks are now doing, but be prepared to pay for field paint. I'm still on the fence here. Yesterday's outing had a bunch of chopped balls, but not sure if new ish marker or paint. Either way, continue to meet some great regulars here. Will definitely be returning. Also, if you happen to forget food, there's several food options within 10 mins.

The riverside range and pro armament are not affiliated with each other. While they share the same…read morefacility, they are two separate businesses. To get to the range simply walk into pro armament and the range entrance is in the back left corner. An employee of the range/range officer is not always present to be sure to call ahead of time to set up a membership. If you are a member, you get access to the range even when no range officer is present. The range is 25 meters, pistol and rifles (up to a certain caliber) are allowed but shotguns are not, members and their guests are only allowed to take up one lane, there are 7 lanes so if you go during busy hours you may have a wait. Why 4/5 stars? It's a smaller facility with only 7 lanes. It's an excellent 5/5 if you are looking for a place to be minutes from your home where you just need to get your fix in for an hour and take off. It's not a good range if you want to practice drawing from the hip, rapid fire, movements and more. It receives 4 stars because the range makes the most out of the space they have. The lanes and facility are very well put together.

Range 42 Norton this the 5th time I've been hit by bounce back shrapnel at Range 42 from your…read moretraps. This one hit me hard. Will never use your place again. You have known about this problem, and in my eyes, dragging your feet to fix this. I've mentioned it a few times so has others. Even the workers there knew about this problem and reported it to the owner.... Not just me, but i've seen others hit w fly back shrapnel also over time. NOPE, this was not from my firearm, I haven't even shot my tool yet, I was setting up on lane 6 when I was pelted, there was a ccw class going on in other lanes. And oh by the way, yes eye and ear protection was being used with hat and proper range attire... Thankfully I have my husband still. A little more to one side and he would of been seriously injured. Never again will I let him go shoot his guns at ur place.

Right after I visited Backpackers Shop I went to another similar popular shop and was not impressed with it. I just wanted to go back to the Backpackers Shop because I knew they'd have multiple things to choose from for the needs. Not only do they have anything i think I might need for backpacking or hiking but their staff are a wealth of knowledge and experience. I talked with a guy who hiked the AT trail and another worker who had just hiked the trail I am planning to backpack through. They were a gold mine of knowledge and wise advice.
