I love going to see Dr. Banks!! I've had horrible experiences when it comes to dentists. Getting my wisdom teeth out years ago, I was WIDE AWAKE. I felt everything. That left me too terrified to go back to the dentist. Years later I finally went back and had a cavity. Before Dr. Banks came into the room I was shaking and in tears. She set there, hugged me, held my hand and walked me through the whole process. She explained everything. When we got started she told me to tell her when I need a break. And she listened. Fast forward to today, and I'm about to get the implants I've been waiting 26 long years for. I'm so excited I could cry. It's been a long process of living life missing my front tooth and it's been so embarrassing. Now with Dr. Banks dedication and hard work I am about to have my dream smile!!!!!! Dr. Johnson and his staff are amazing! Everyone is so friendly there and always makes me feel comfortable and relaxed (instead of nervous and intimidated like many people feel when they go to the dentist). My mother and sister go there as well, and all of us agree that their office is the best! In addition to going there for regular cleanings, I am also in the process of getting Invisalign, and I am so glad I chose this office for this process. It is a very long and involved undertaking, requiring many visits to the dentist, and every time I have been here, Dr. Johnson has explained everything so clearly to me, and he has really taken the time to make sure all of my (many!) questions are answered. I have been a patient at this practice for at least 25-30 years. They are always professional and provide the best service possible. Exams are thorough and all items needing attention are discussed. I look forward to every visit as it has always been a pleasant experience. The staff all have my needs in mind when treating me as a patient. I saw Sarah as a patient for the first time, and she provided clear details on what she was doing and kept me informed as to progress. Dr Johnson followed up with an exam and explained the status of future options I have for an implant procedure. The information was very helpful in making future plans for this to happen. I am an Army Veteran and was referred to the dental office by a co-worker. I was hesitant until I read the reviews, so I gave them a chance. I am so glad I took a risk. I was provided more than one option for my corrective action plan verbally then scheduled to return to make it more concrete. Everyone was very polite and Dr. Johson is great. I felt like I knew him for decades... As I was scheduling my next visit the entire time the young lady was sitting down. Once all paperwork was completed she stood up and shook my hand and said, "Thank You For Your Service!" I had the misfortune of losing the back part of a tooth and needed a dentist. My spouse had lost part of a tooth two weeks before I did, so he had located the MK&C Dental Group and in particular, Dr. Banks. He had a very positive experience and highly recommended than I schedule an appointment with her, which I did. Since I am, by nature, prone to anxiety, I mentioned that to Dr. Banks and she and her team put me at ease and talked me through everything that was being done. Dr. Banks was especially reassuring when she said the tooth "could be fixed". I found everyone to be professional, friendly, and reassuring - exactly what one needs when seeking dental attention. I had minimally taken care of my teeth since Covid, but this group is who I chose to return to. I had a broken tooth and didn't know how to deal with it. Dr. Johnson had ideas that never had occurred to me. I took his advice. Even when I called to schedule the appt the staff was attentive and caring. The appt that I was given was 2 weeks away. I was told they would put me on a waiting list in case someone canceled. I was called the next morning and was given 2 hours to be there. All around professionals that have a friendly aura about them. I went to Dr. Johnson for a routine appt. and he identified a crack where I had been having some discomfort. A crown solved that, but then I had another tooth crack, and that tooth had to be removed. I hated losing a tooth, but Dr. Johnson and his assistant, Jordan, both did a great job of showing and explaining to me exactly what they were seeing and what they recommended be done, but they didn't pressure me. They were happy to clearly answer all my questions and made sure to do their work carefully and pain free for me. Everyone in the office was very nice, especially Jordan, who showed that she was really focused on her patient having a successful outcome . I would recommend them to anyone! read more

I always see Dr. Garland and Barb. I trust them both. They know me and ask me about my life. So comforting. I once was in extreme pain and got in as an emergency. In his wisdom, Dr. Garland refused to do any work on me until he knew the origin of the pain. I had trigeminal neuralgia. Most dentists do a root canal to no avail but Dr. Garland knew my mouth and knew it had to be outside the dental field. He saved me unnecessary work that would have done nothing sense TN has nothing to do with the teeth. I am very glad they tend to my dental needs and would recommend them anytime. read more

MK&C is the best dental office in Middletown, Ohio. I went for a cleaning on November 22, 2022. After a thorough exam, it was determined that I needed a crown. Dr. Banks scheduled me the very next day. I'm new to this office. The first visit for cleaning was very thorough and comprehensive. They develop a plan for you that is preventative and proactive. Since the cleaning I've had crowns installed. They look great and feel like a perfect fit. No more molars crumbling off into my mouth because the fillings are 50+ years old! The entire staff, starting with the receptionist who greets you when you walk into the office, is caring and professional. Their prices compare very favorably with other practices. Dr. Banks is the best at making me feel comfortable. I always have fillings or crowns to be done from years of old fillings needing to be changed. I have had 3 crowns and 8 fillings in the past year or two. Her staff are very pleasant and I never have trouble with my appointments. I am an inherently nervous dental patient and thus group helps me stay calm and feel cared for. They truly listen to their patients.
