Compared to the numerous nail salons on Whalley Ave and in the area I find this place to be the best value. Any day of the week a regular Mani/Pedi is only $30. Yes, $30! I know another big place down the street offers this deal on weekdays only, but who is getting their nails done on a Tuesday afternoon?? I am typically there on Saturday or Sunday and have never had to wait to get a seat in the pedicure chair. I hope I'm not spoiling a well kept secret! You can also get gel nails, shellac and waxing done there - but I've never had these services. Parking can be tricky, they have some spots out front and some to the side near the Burger King. Another interesting fact about this particular nail salon is that it is run by an all spanish-speaking staff.

They then made me bleed via the nail removal process while I said ouch out loud. I would tell the entire story but tbh I left with one hand glued on nails that don't fit and have to home remedy this. The worst experience I have ever had and a dangerous one - I hope I don't get any blood borne illness from them.

While I remained respectful throughout my appointment, I experienced behavior that made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Specifically, when I was told to pay before my service was done. As a paying customer, I expected to be treated with the same level of respect and professionalism as everyone else. Whether intentional or not, the experience left me feeling humiliated and disrespected. No one should leave a business feeling singled out because of the color of their skin.
