Today I decided to try somewhere new and while Driving down the Post Rd I pulled into "New Lady Nails" salon and to check it out. I was sooo happily surprised to walk in and see a couple of awesome technicians from the place I went for years just bought & remodeled this salon! Unbelievable! This past weekend we decided to treat ourselves to a nail salon day and it was the absolute best time! Cindy was my nail tech and I'm not kidding when I say she gave me the best mani pedi in my entire life! She was so sweet, and she did wonders! My nails have never looked this good. My favorite part? They really treat this like a spa, with their leg/foot massages, they give you a back massage, the music in the background and just the overall vibe -- 10/10 all around! I could look past it, and I will try them again when they move back. They did a relative good job. The french is a little uneven and my toes (which I am not showing for free) are a little rough but i will give them the benefit of the doubt cause I just don't think they are used to short nails (not a lot of places do). Also, I just wish they were more clear that the callus removal during the pedicure was almost 15$ more before hand especially with their temporary location they are not taking card.

I got the basic pedicure with callus removal and it was a basic pedicure with no extras but they do take the time to massage your feet and legs. The nail tech was nice and I got tips but she didn't cut my cuticles. When I asked why she said you have to pay extra? I originally was going to get just a gel mani and then upgraded to tips. I asked the owner or person in charge and she said she can do it for you this time and another tech chimed in with an attitude and said you changed the service. The answers didn't make sense. Anywhere I have ever went cuticle care is part of the mani. I could have went back and forth with them about cuticle care but it wasn't worth the energy. They should make it clear with a sign that you would have to pay extra. It's not the cost either. It's the principle.
