Certified Heating and Cooling,Inc. $$$…read moreSERVICE REQUESTED: I have an annual agreement with this office, and it has been a great value. A few weeks ago my upstairs A/C was being examined at the start of its semi-annual checkup. The associate notified me that the air handler in the attic was dropping its insulation from within, and this would create a problem with continuing the standard semi-annual checkup. This necessitated scheduling an associate on a different day to basically rebuild the air handler. Understandably this was a long project through the day but was completed to our satisfaction. QUALITY: The different associates whom we have seen over a long period of time have been exceptionally professional and courteous. VALUE: Everyone decides what they describe as value. For us it's the confidence that our A/C units will work through the summer and winter year after year. Having a service agreement gives us that peace of mind. SUMMARY: These people have demonstrated exceptional courtesy (every phone call is a new pleasant greeting, every time). One has to have trust in the service people with whom they do business. For me, these people are very highly recommended.

I was so pleased that Jesse arrived at my home about an hour after I made my call. this was the hottest day we've had so far and it was a Sunday. The response time was excellent! Jesse looked at the AC unit and immediately knew what was wrong. he had the part on his truck and immediately began installing it. he worked very diligently to get the part installed and get my AC running smoothly. I was extremely pleased with not only his technical expertise, but also his professionalism, his diligence , and his pleasant demeanor. He reminded me that my contract was up for renewal and by renewing, I was able to save money on the part and the service call. Thank you Jesse and thank you, Certified!! Karen from Naples

Imold is a very special company. We were on vacation in California when our neighbor reached out to…read moreinform us that our house was flooded with 1/2 inch of water. After booking tickets to come back a day early, filing the insurance claim, and reaching out to a handful of restoration companies, we were contacted immediately by someone at Imold. Within an hour or so of the flood discovery, we had an assessment appointment booked for the next business day. One other company reached out about 1 1/2 weeks later, and the rest never even got back to me. I was most impressed by the immediacy of the response, and only afterwards found out the identity of the agent that got back to me so quickly. It turned out it was the owner and CEO of the company, Adam Metauro. A day after we came back, Steve Richelson from Imold came out and did an assessment. Within an hour after we agreed to the company's services, a whole team came and started remediation right away. The company's prices were very reasonable, given the quick response, professionalism and diligence of the entire team. They understood the urgency of the situation. In addition to quickly, effectively and courteously fulfilling their mission, they went out of their way to dispose of a giant dresser, as well as my bedframe, even though neither were damaged in the flood and therefore went above and beyond the scope of work. The big bonus for me came when they agreed to my request to dispose of my 150-gallon saltwater aquarium tank, which must have weighed 300-400 pounds. They sent a whole team of 4 people to remove it, and because it still had a lot of wet sand in it, promised to bring more people the next day. I removed the sand that weekend and they were able to successfully remove it the next business day. I was overwhelmed with Imold's dedication to help out the customer, even if it was beyond the stated scope of work. Most companies typically either charge you for the extra service or offload the responsibility to another company, which would have incurred additional time and costs. When a CEO and owner gets involved in every day tasks, most often it is because of need rather than values. Imold is not a one or two person business, it is a medium-sized company, so a CEO or owner in a company that size clearly has enough people to fulfill all responsibilities. For him or her to get involved shows a much higher standard of company mission, customer service and values-based motivation. It was clear that Adam was involved with my account and situation from beginning to end. He was copied on nearly all the emails sent from the team, personally authorized a number of special requests, which included the aquarium (saving me hundreds of dollars), the aforementioned other heavy items, and flexibility on payment terms. Finally, Adam himself stepped up to the plate to fulfill yet another one of my requests, which was for expedited access to all the photos of the damage and remediation work, making an exception to the company protocol that all photos would be released upon project completion. Adam understood that I needed the photos earlier rather than later so as to move the insurance claim process along, so he not only authorized it, he ran the report himself and sent it to me the same day. It was an incredible feat, it made my day and I will be raving about it to my family and my personal and professional network for decades. A company that helps and supports you in a time of need is a very special company indeed. It was clear that Imold's ultimate company mission was to make life, for a customer already experiencing a difficult ordeal, better, easier and happier. Imold is clearly my Best Company for 2026 and a leading candidate for Best Company I have ever hired.

We contacted iMold, and from our first call through the entire remediation process, they were outstanding. The team was professional, respectful, and knowledgeable every step of the way. They not only identified where the moisture was coming from but also resolved the underlying issue. From the flooring demolition to the drying process and final resolution, their attention to detail and customer service were exceptional. They refuse to make it right, and now we have thousands of dollars in repair work. Worst of all, they never put the support beam back up on the roof. When she called them to fix what should have been done when the unit was installed, they told her it was only 1 year Warrenty and charged her another $700 to half way finish the work they had already charged her for. Things that should have been done the first time and they returned to finish the work... 1. Insulate refrigerant line (they only half covered line the second time around) 2. Never properly sealed supply duct at air handler or any of the joints for the duct work. Inspection showed it was blowing 68 degrees into the attic. ( they only sealed at the air handler second time around not any of the other joints or connections) 3. Air conditioner was not even secured to the concrete pad. (They did put in 2 L brackets that cost $25) 4. They did not clean the unit. 5. Also the drip pan is not completely under the unit. I would not ever use this company.

Stay away from One Way Air…read more My experience with One Way Air has been one of the most frustrating consumer experiences I have ever had. What started as a preventative maintenance visit turned into a sales appointment before the scheduled maintenance was even completed. Instead of performing the service I requested, the visit quickly became focused on selling me a replacement system. For approximately two years, my preventative maintenance visits repeatedly included discussions about replacing my AC system. The final maintenance visit became a sales conversion that resulted in replacing an operational system. I was sold a two-stage HVAC system specifically for humidity control and improved comfort. The system installed did not match the configuration I understood I was purchasing and has not performed as represented. The problems started immediately after installation. Within the first few days, I observed installation concerns, including an improperly sealed filter/media cabinet, sealing deficiencies, condensation issues, and areas of the installation that were visibly wet. Within about 10 days, I observed rusting screws and dripping sealant (mastic). A newly installed HVAC system should not be showing these types of issues. The system also developed a blower motor/module failure requiring warranty repair. My home is still not cooling properly, and despite documentation showing the blower is not operating correctly, One Way Air continues to dispute the issue rather than resolve it. The warranty repair remains incomplete, and I still have not received a clear corrective plan. One Way Air has been to my home approximately five times since installation, yet the problems remain unresolved. I was forced to hire two independent HVAC professionals at my own expense because the issues were not being resolved. Their evaluations documented concerns that remain unresolved. It has now been approximately 40 days since installation, and I am left with an HVAC system that is not performing properly, an unresolved warranty repair, and no clear path forward. I replaced an operational AC system expecting improved comfort and reliability. Instead, I ended up with a system that performs worse than the one I replaced. The lack of communication, follow-through, and accountability has completely eroded my confidence in One Way Air. On Monday, Ryan advised that he had received my emails and would be sending a written course of action "momentarily." As of Friday evening, I still had not received the promised written plan. The responses I received did not address my specific questions, provide supporting documentation, or offer a clear corrective plan. They felt like repeated explanations without resolution or accountability for the documented installation and equipment concerns. Do your research before hiring One Way Air. Get everything in writing before giving any money. Make sure the exact equipment configuration, performance expectations, and scope of work are clearly documented. Do not rely solely on verbal representations or a generic invoice that only lists model numbers without clearly explaining what you are receiving. If I had known this would be my experience, I would not have hired One Way Air. Learn from my experience: verify exactly what equipment is being installed, get every promise in writing, and make sure you fully understand what you are receiving before you pay.
