I paid to have brand new turf installed because I was told my existing turf needed to be replaced due to visible seams. After the job was completed, the new turf still has seams, which defeats the entire reason I agreed to replace it in the first place. I also paid for a completely new irrigation system, but it appears that it was never actually replaced. Many of the sprinklers still have the same old sprinkler heads and tops, yet the company insists the system was replaced. The visible evidence suggests otherwise. Additionally, I paid for repairs to my fire pit, and within three days the structure was already cracked again. The professionalism on-site was also lacking. During the job, the crew took a break for about an hour sitting on our personal lawn chairs and didn't even bother to put them back, and they left trash and debris behind when they finished. What's most frustrating is that I've reached out multiple times to have these issues addressed, and each time I've been pushed aside, given excuses, or told things that simply aren't true. At this point I feel like I paid a significant amount of money for work that was not completed as promised and was poorly executed. Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience, and unfortunately I cannot recommend this company to others. Update. The owner has informed us that we will be receiving a refund that should have arrived today. If course it did not arrive, not is he answering any attempts to reconcile. This shows how crooked he is.

We began by ripping out existing plants, pavers, brown gravel, and artificial turf for both a putting green and a general use area. We started by building a pool (a cheap plug for Dolphin Pools who did an amazing job). After the pool was completed, the second half of the project was ready to begin. This is where Colorworks stepped up to the plate. I could not begin this without mentioning one of the owners, "Jon Hammel". Colorworks Landscape Design, Inc. received rave reviews on Google and Yelp, so we reached out and were promptly scheduled for a complimentary estimate. Upon Jon's arrival, I could sense his excitement and creativity as he envisioned transforming our dream backyard into the upgraded space we desired. Although we had a plan in place, Jon skillfully incorporated his unique ideas, resulting in a comprehensive rendering of the project. We were immediately convinced that Colorworks was the ideal choice for our project. What truly set Jon apart was his unwavering honesty and thoughtful approach to refining our existing plan, ensuring that it reached its full potential. I want to clearly state that there are many stages to such a massive project. There are always going to be delays, and we had a few. Additional parts needed to be ordered, and of course, the weather did not always agree (lots of rain). Since our backyard is not the largest, every inch of the project required attention, and Jon fully comprehended that. Cesar is an expert in construction projects and possesses extensive knowledge in the field. My wife, being meticulous and OCD, wanted perfection in the job. Cesar meticulously coordinated with us on every aspect of the project, providing valuable advice on what could and couldn't be done. Prior to starting he confirmed multiple times that it would be a two-zone setup, per text messages. After the installation, I found out from a different landscaper that only one zone was actually connected. So now I can't control how much water my trees versus smaller desert plants get. I reached out SEVERAL times over SEVERAL weeks to give him the chance to come back and check it, but he completely stopped responding. He claims he stands behind his work with a 2 year warranty, but so far that is false. This isn't the only issue either. We have dying plants because the drip lines barely reach them. Plants and trees falling over because of not enough support and also slowly dying from improper watering from not having a 2 zone system. AND a few days after the job was complete I noticed he cut up my backwash hose line for the pool pump. He claimed he didn't see it at first but him and his crew were literally the last ones in that area. He reluctantly shipped me a new backwash hose but didn't want to come install it so I had to do it myself because he stopped responding. Yes, maybe it's easy to install but why should I have to fix your mistake??? Promising one thing and delivering something different is completely DISHONEST. Now I'm stuck paying another contractor to fix all the other problems. I've been patient and gave him enough opportunity to resolve any issues before leaving a review, but being ignored for weeks leaves me with no other choice. I hope this helps others when deciding who to hire.

Cesar, the Project Manager, came out on both install days and again at the end to walk it with us. Israel led the crew and checked in with me throughout -- he actually spotted a sprinkler leak before any work started. They leveled the soil first, so the grade came out smooth and even. Two things stood out. They left us a spare patch of turf in case we ever need to repair a section. And the cleanup was immaculate -- you genuinely could not tell there'd been a crew tearing up the yard that morning. Communication was the best part. Email, text, phone, in person -- always knew what was happening and when. No complaints at all.

I interviewed several companies for our complete backyard remodel, and it was apparent from the beginning that Sean was the best. He came up with a creative design for our backyard that provided more privacy; an entertainment space with a bar, tv, fire pit; and an outdoor kitchen. He asks questions to understand what your needs are and how you envision yourself using your yard to come up with a 3-D rendering of your ideal space. Sean has an eye for design and thinks of the big picture and the small details. We had to wait several months for the crew to start, but in my mind that was a good sign that Envirogreen was well sought after. They were worth the wait! Envirogreen has their own crews, instead of a bunch of subcontractors. Their crew, led by Abraham, was punctual, reliable, and hardworking. They showed up 5-6 days a week and worked long days until our project was complete. This kind of work ethic and reliability is so rare these days. Sean communicated with us throughout the entire process and his insights allowed us to make some decisions to improve the original plan as needed (i.e.- installed one bigger propane tank to serve our smoker, grill, fire pit, and indoor stove instead of added another smaller one).
