I got to visit during their Harry Potter pop up with butter beer coffee options and delicious pastries. It seems like the cafe changes themes consistently, so check out their social media for updates.

Upon entering their cafe/ gift shop, I noticed they had a Stranger Things Theme. There were a few families that were enjoying the large sitting area with couches, tables and table games. They really spent a long time crafting this theme and I really enjoyed all of the themed touches. I ordered a "Plain Jane" ice coffee which was delicious. You could see small pieces of graham cracker that added a good flavor. They had some baked goods available in addition to soda. They also offered a coffee flight which is something I would order if I was spending time with friends. There was one barista which did a great job keeping up with orders and communicating with customers. Next, I ventured out to check out their event space. They had an indoor event space with a shaded outdoor space right next to it with a bar area as well. After checking out the event space I looked at their flower, herbs and small cactuses outside the cafe. They had a small selection but good quality plants for a modest price. I also checked out their selection of pots and various plants outside the event space in additional to looking at their selection of trees and shrubs. Honey Locust would be a place I'd come to get coffee with friends as well as watch for any events they might have with the community. The theming they do in the coffee shop is fun and definitely worth coming to check out with your friends or family. All age levels would enjoy time here.

The rooms can be a bit noisy if it's facing the highway. The staff in the hotel reception were super friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and very well maintained. Definite 5 stars to the staff. The lobby has a bar with plenty of seating and work stations. Breakfast is complimentary in the lounge area. A very good hotel in the Rockwall area with plenty of food options nearby.

I booked a block of rooms here for my wedding and the staff completely ruined what should have been a stress-free experience. On the NIGHT of my wedding, they canceled my own room--claiming it was due to "maintenance issues." Imagine my shock when I stood in the lobby and personally witnessed them checking in another couple right after me. Clearly, this wasn't maintenance--it was dishonesty. I reached out to corporate several times, but the Rockwall location kept closing my claim without resolution and refused to return my calls. The lack of accountability and professionalism is beyond appalling. I have every reason to believe they oversold the hotel and deliberately canceled the rooms booked at lower rates first. To do this to any guest is unacceptable, but to do it to a bride on her wedding night is absolutely unforgivable. If you're considering booking a room block with them--don't. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and their customer service is non-existent. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere, because this hotel will not have your back when it matters most.

The steak was the juiciest and most tender one I have ever had, so definitely worth the money. The house salad was great too, better than most sad salads elsewhere, lol. They don't serve complimentary bread with your meal, which was the only downside to the meal. The restaurant has a multi-layered layout so the wait staff definitely get a good workout with all the stairs. Next time I will go on a nice day and sit outside because it looked nice.

I'm hoping they just did that for Valentine's Day so they could accommodate more people and this is not going to be the standard. We had the spinach dip and chips for appetizer and they were very good. I had the 9 ounce ribeye and hubby had a fillet both were cooked perfectly. We had the baked potato for a side. They both were very good. They cooked them exactly like we ordered them. The service was so so but I'm hoping that was because it was so crowded. We'll try it one more time. The food was pretty good. Oh, another note. They had a guy playing guitar and singing and he was very good. Before he started they had blaring music! Another thing they need to address!

What a great place for the community!…read more I have driven past this place several times but never really stopped in and checked it out, or honestly, gave it much thought. I am not being negative, it just did not register with me. That all changed today when my granddaughter's dance company held a recital at Acacia Collective. My first observation was that there was ample parking, which was nice. In addition to the parking lot in front, there was also an even larger lot in the back. Walking in, I was impressed again. The architecture and its use of woods helped make the place very inviting and relaxing. The people inside were as welcoming as the facility itself. There is a lot going on here... The Acacia Collective houses an auditorium, a coffee shop, a childcare/mother's day out facility, an l shared work space, and more. At the tables there were puzzles being built, people drinking coffee, people enjoying the wonderful baked goods from the coffee shop, and others enjoying the Wi-Fi on their laptops and more. I personally had an Asiago bagel with cream cheese, and also a cinnamon role muffin. Both were delicious! I would be remiss if I finished this review without mentioning the staff at the coffee shop. They were super polite and a joy to interact with. Great customer service! They also worked hard handling the influx of people. Acacia Collective also proved to be a great place to hold a dance recital!
