Cliff Notes Version of MY wedding on 3/7/2020 *Kerrie sent…read morethe wrong arrangements. *Kerrie failed to set my head table first as she agreed. *Kerrie stopped responding to my emails after she was made aware I was unhappy with the arrangements. *She just disappeared without resolution. . I was excited about the horizontal church and guest table arrangements we contracted for, as I did not want any traditional arrangements. As soon as I walked down the aisle to my horror they were just as round as they could be. My planner reached out to her beginning with my bouquet. Kerrie told my planner she would contact me within a few days, but I wound up having to reach out her after not hearing from her for a week. I emailed Kerrie and listed my disappointments only to receive an email back stating she did nothing wrong. I responded with an email that contained photos comparing the contract photo to what she delivered and she has yet to respond. She went ghost which is rude, unprofessional, and unprecedented. So two weeks after my wedding I am left to write a review She tried to justify the failure by stating "they were wider than they were tall and flared at the bottom so that makes them horizontal." I'll post my contract photo next to what arrived and you be the judge. The next major issue was that I emailed Kerrie about making sure my head table was preset and the arrangements from the church be moved to guest tables. She assured me that my head table arrangements would be pre-set. I rushed through the photos at the church to get to the reception venue so my husband and I could take photos in the room while the guests were still enjoying cocktail hour. To my dismay I walk in to view a head table with no large arrangements. She did the exact opposite of what was asked and what she told me. This is so bad guys, that my photographer sent detail photos over, and in them are photos of empty stands on the head table even though I made it clear that that was the priority and she agreed to it. I've included photos of that as well. Then Kerrie made a point to write "I do know that your friends and family loved the flowers and took them all home at the end of the night, so hopefully that gives you some peace." Quite frankly that was beside the point. I, the client, didn't like them because it wasn't what I asked for or expected Kerrie. With the exception of A Stylish Soirée I was blessed with 12 wonderful vendors. I was told things would happen and they did, but the other two vendors reached out to me apologetically and made things right without me asking. As a result I've only had to write one bad review. The irony in this is that during the final payment stage she sent me the contract to sign and the bill was lower than it should have been. I made a point to correct the errors in excel, recalculate the higher amount, and made her aware that her system didn't calculate the balance due properly. Who would have thought I would be the one getting stiffed! Lol

Chloe was an amazing wedding planner and recommended the best vendors that were reasonably priced. She not only answered all of my millions of questions, but she also helped put my mom at ease and answered her questions throughout the entire process. When the actual wedding day arrived, she went above and beyond and drove to our home during the reception, picked up our dog sick with cancer, and brought him to the venue to have him celebrate with us. We love our dogs and it made our night so much more special to have a visit from him! She without question was the best wedding planner ever. Highly recommend!!! Kerrie was amazing as a florist, and her vision played out exactly as I had imagined and more! I have had so many compliments on her work and had the most beautiful bouquet. Loved loved working with her and Chloe. Use them for your wedding! You won't be disappointed.

I continued following up and waited 72 hours to receive an email stating my date was available and to send pictures of the flower arrangements I wanted. I did this immediately and never heard back. I continued calling and emailing with no response. Today, I received an email stating the day was no longer available. Very disappointed in the customer service as it is now May 31st and I do not have a flower vendor for my wedding. I do not recommend this floral company based on my experience.

They wanted me to pay before seeing any product: no mock up, portfolio photos etc. the florals I wanted were faux and I wanted something similar but real. When I refused to pay without seeing what my florals would look like first and inquired about a simpler plain white roses with greenery all of the sudden my wedding weekend was now closed. I called Kristee to see if she could make a bridal bouquet, a smaller bouquet for the maid of honor, and a boutonniere on short notice. She graciously agreed. The wedding was a week ago and I'm still enjoying those beautiful flowers in vases at my home.

She easily understood my vision, conveyed useful tips based on her experience, and offered her services within my budget. It seemed to be a great fit. When we met to finalize everything, she seemed determined to charge me my max budget. For example, I decided to use bridesmaid bouquets as a centerpiece for 4 of 13 reception tables. However, the total cost of the centerpieces remained the same because she increased the price per arrangement. (Ex: We originally agreed to 13 arrangements for average price of $100 per arrangement or a total of $1,300. When I reduced the number of arrangements from 13 to 9, the total cost was still $1,300 or an average of $144 per arrangement). When I inquired about this increase, she stated that the original quote was an "average" estimate and thus it was reasonable for the price per arrangement to increase. I expected there would be minor adjustments to the cost as we hammered out specifics, but the final arrangements I selected were almost identical to the images I provided in our first consultation. If these images were used to calculate the original quote, an increase of $44 per arrangement was ridiculous. Also, the fact that the increase in the cost per arrangement was exactly enough to cover the amount of $ she would have lost from the arrangements I removed seemed a bit too convenient. Further, we discussed having a floral arch for my outdoor ceremony. When I asked for pricing, she noted that the arch would be $400 as pictured or $350 if I opted for less flowers. I agreed and it was included in V1 of the contract that I signed in Sept 2017. When I received a new version of the contract in March 2018, the details were changed and an additional $150 charge was added for an arch rental. When I inquired about this, she promptly agreed to remove the $150 charge for the rental and to provide the arch as discussed for the V1 price. I was satisfied by how she handled the exchange initially. This changed when I saw the arch on my wedding day. It was noticeably different than the pictures she provided and had considerably less greenery/flowers. From my perspective, she essentially reduced the total amount of flowers/greenery on the arch by $150 for the arch rental charge she agreed to remove. I highly recommend being more transparent with your clients and suggest you never agree to provide the same level of service and then not follow through. Further, I had several issues with the flowers I received on my wedding day. Firstly, my bridal and bridesmaid bouquets had several brown/wilted flowers in obvious locations. While I expected a few flowers in the bouquets to be blemished, we had to replace at least 4-5 roses in my bridal bouquet alone. When I pointed them out to her when she dropped the bouquet off, she was initially apologetic but quickly became irritable when I noted my surprise at the volume of replacements that were needed and the fact that bridal bouquet specifically had so many flowers that needed to be replaced. Lastly, when I walked in to my reception hall after my wedding, I immediately noted that there were bright purple flowers in all of the arrangements when I specifically requested only white, ivory, and light pink flowers. I'm not sure how or why she chose to add a color that was drastically different from my chosen theme/colors... but the mistake could easily have been avoided if she would have sent pictures of the flowers being used in my arrangements. I requested this information from her the month prior to and the week of my wedding but it was never provided. While my negative experiences exceeded the positive, there were things the Elegant Petal did well. Overall, Jenny was a pleasant and helpful person who was easy to communicate with. Further, the flowers were delivered on time and Jenny did a great job setting everything up based on our discussions. Lastly, the flowers were decently priced and designed well excluding the items I noted above. In summary, I had high hopes for the Elegant Petal but was disappointed due to several pricing issues/inconsistencies and the quality/accuracy of the floral arrangements I received. I wouldn't choose them again.

They had a few books to look through for flower ideas and located only 10 minutes from my home in Irving. The flowers were lovely and they stayed in my budget.
