These people are have lost my kid's records and are now ghosting me. They have no record besides the initial receipt of me paying them. No record of all the classes or drives they took nor of their driving test. Because we managed to find the receipt to prove that they were a student they offered for them to repeat everything. It has been over a year. My kid is now almost 16 and a half and can't move forward because no one is returning our calls or texts. We were planning on having them drive themselves to school this year and now everyone's schedule is disrupted because of MLK's incompetence. Whatever you do don't go here. Came her for the knowledge exam (the only place we could find online with simple walk-in hours and no reservation required). Simple, easy no muss no fuss. The owner did not rush/hassle us nor did he try to upsell us on anything. This is clearly a small mom and pop operation and I'm glad we came here. However my previous instructor made a lot of unnecessary negative comments during the classes, which made me feel very upset. And their price is also expensive!!! So, I decided to change school. When all my friends were learning to drive, I heard constant complaints of how evil and snarky driving instructors can be. I was fortunate enough to choose this school and work with Mr. Hassan, who is both competent and friendly. I purchased the 8 1-hour adult driving class package for $500. If I'm going to spend 8 hours sitting next to someone, it needs to be someone amicable, and lucky for me I was able to experience that. Mr. Hassan has a long history as a truck driver and then a driving instructor, so from the very beginning I knew I was in safe hands. He trusted in my abilities even before I had any, which helped me build my own confidence in driving. He takes the time to explain the reasoning behind the rules, to strengthen my own understanding. I went in here one day. The woman said I needed a Learner's Permit and sent me on a wild goose chase to the DMV where I was told I had to return to the driving school to take a knowledge test. The woman back at the school informed me those were only administered on Wednesday mornings. Since that was a Wednesday, and I'd wasted the day at the DMV for no reason, I would have to wait another week instead of being able to do it right when I was there that morning. I can't speak about the instructors here because I took my business elsewhere, but if that is how they treat prospective students, you may want to try somewhere else too. read more

This place is ridiculous. I had to schedule an appointment with the owner (a first time meeting)and called him up to which he replied that I could drop by anytime during the day.I just gave him a heads up that I might reach sometime around 2 p.m. Unfortunately my dog got very sick and had to be taken to the ER, and it completely skipped my mind in the chaos to check with him. Given the fact that going to the ER is way more important than a meeting that could've had a flexible timing,it should not have been a big deal. The owner called me up and started insulting me on the phone even though I apologised about not being able to make it .He said that he would charge me extra for his one hour of time ,which in the first place was not a slot booked since he specifically stated that I could come anytime during the day. He even said that I owe him 25 bucks and repeatedly questioned that why could I not call him up even though I was in the ER worried sick about something way more important. We called and scheduled an appointment, and then made payment online. When we arrived, the the 'Open' sign was lit, and the lights were on, but nobody appeared to be in the office. After waiting around for awhile, we called and were informed that no one would be showing up to give a driving lesson. We asked why our appointment was canceled, but they would not provide an explanation, nor did they apologize. We demanded, and received, a full refund. read more

The instructor had driving experience in Canada, where I am already licensed, and was able to give me a quick rundown on the differences in road laws between Washington State. What a horrible place run by a miserable person! Never even think about going through this "school" for your driving instruction. The owner is extremely rude and condescending, and should not work with people. I work in a customer oriented field, and would never even imagine speaking to a person the way he spoke to me. I can't believe this guy has a business. The guy yelled and insulted me because according to him I asked too many questions. I have never seen in my life someone like this. I payed for his services so I have right to ask questions if I don't understand something. And the worst part now is he is refusing to give us refund. I asked a lot of questions because his english was hard to understand and his website is not clear about what time and dates they teach classes. Mr. Hassan is competent, polite, and easy to work with. I really appreciated that he still had a class with my kid, even though the class was small (he didn't cancel it). Since he is an experienced truck driver, I really trusted that the driving education my daughter received would be first class, and I was right. My daughter now has her license. The most comprehensive and rigorous driving school experience in Seattle. Mr. Hassan and his team taught me how to drive in ONLY SIX lessons. These six lessons I paid $500 and, I was able to schedule the lessons based off my availability. I'm 24 years old and I wanted private lessons because I wanted to speed up the timeframe it normally takes. When I took my first lesson, I thought we might go around the neighborhood, nope. I drove for an hour; all around South Seattle. By the first lesson, I knew how to brake, make turns and even switch lanes. Most driving teachers, micromanage and try to take control the wheel constantly. However, my teacher, allowed me to become an independent driver. This being said the teacher still has full control of the brake system. After reading the horror stories in the comments I was apprehensive in calling them however I have had no issues with them during my six weeks. My only tip would be scheduling all the appointments at once. This way driving becomes a routine. Don't just pop-in because someone else might get your spot. I highly recommend this driving school if your serious about learning to drive. They will not baby you. Two of my other friends will be taking lessons later this month which, is exciting. read more

If you want to learn driving practically end-to-end or only mastering the techniques and to practise methodically for the driving test, I would recommend this school. The trainer is professional and still very polite. Depending on my needs or weak points he made the practice schedule and also made time for me even within or after his tight schedule. My friends have learned from various schools in Bellevue and surrounding area and I did not hear much good things about them, and sometimes they sounded scary and could make you nervous. This school is totally different, the trainer would give you confidence, but will also make you practice something many times which you are not good at. When you learn full classes you would get to learn driving pretty much in all areas like difficult roads, highways, downtown and also freeway, and you can learn the parking techniques which I would say the trainer will give such lesson which you will never forget. You get to see interesting videos on driving as well. Overall, I would recommend this school and they are most reasonably priced as well. read more
