I came back when it was a busier day with younger students in the class. He was basically calling a kid dumb infront of everyone!!!! Because he only got two questions right. I finished pretty quickly and gave him my test. A few other kids went before me so he graded theirs first. THIS MAN GRADES THE WHOLE DAMN CLASSSES TEST BEFORE MINES!! I start to notice he's purposely waiting till the end but I was still being patient. He finally finished and looks at me ands like " ok give me your test"!!!???!!!!!!????? I was like sir please, I gave it to you an hour ago it should be at the bottom. I start laughing cause I really thought he was joking. He starts looking for two minutes and opening the folder with all the classes papers and says "Sorry I don't see anything here, please come back next week to retake the test"?!?!!!!! Mind you this is my second time coming back and now I'd have to pay to retake the test again!! I honestly started crying, lol I was so confused! Like whaaattt? He was trying to close without giving me my test ??!! so I go get my boyfriend and I have my dad on the phone. He immediatelyyyyy finds the test when we come back in and is like "hahah ok what day is good for you to do the drivers test" I took my paper and left. I wasted my money with these fools and had to pay another place to go take the knowledge and the drivers test. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!!!! I'm a young adult and he made me cry lol.funny but definitely traumatizing experience. Don't go here. They have a cheaper place in Renton highlands Murals Driving School. Affordable, around the same price!

Moha quickly assessed that she didn't know the difference between a protected and an unprotected left turn. He was good at finding out what she needed to learn and had good explanations. I rode along and found it informative to get me to let my daughter demonstrate whether she knew skills without talking too much. Why the late review? A friend was talking about instructing her grandson in driving and my experience here came to mind.

We wish to share our experience in working with the I-5 Driving School to other parents who are not…read moreonly concerned about getting a quality driving education for their first child but also to establish a positive lifelong learning experience with the institution for their future driver education needs. We enrolled our oldest child (16 yo) in the teen class at one of the driver training schools in town. The reason for this choice was because it was located near our home. The 30-hrs class itself was fine and so were the 6-hrs road training plus 1 hr of observation. However, my child was consistently reminded during drive sessions that he could and should go a bit faster above the speed limit, i.e., 28-29 mph in a 25 mph zone but not slower than the limit to avoid folks tailgating him. After having attained nearly 50 additional hours of driving with me, he then took his first road test with the school & applied the " a bit faster" practice to the test which failed him for not observing the posted speed limit despite having attained a mid 80% score on other criteria in the test. Needless to say, we were very disappointed, especially at the end of the test, he was not briefed with details on the scoring, what he did wrong, nor how he could do better. He was given the scoring sheet and told he exceeded legal speed limit, need to do some more practice, and schedule another road test. We then decided to look for "a second opinion" test center for his second try. Our search came upon the I-5 Driving school which immediately interested us with the school's mission and the story of the founders that started I-5 Driving School. We contacted this school yesterday and our call was answered in less than 3-rings! We then was hosted by a gentleman, with first name Nick, who patiently explained to us about the test, the student's needed preparations, and what we should expect when the road test conclude. Due to our son' swim meet schedules, Nick was extremely patient in looking for an appointment/location that worked for us and it was at another location 34-miles away. An appointment was made for the next day and no payment ($35 road test fee) was even necessary! This I-5 Driving School's was so professional and they treated us with trust, fairness, and respect. At the other school, we had to call, left a voice message, then waited for their call back a day later. Once a test was scheduled, we were asked to make payment immediately ($49.95) and there would not be a refund if for some reasons we have to change the appointment in less than 48-hrs. On the test day with I-5 Driving's, we showed up 15-minutes early and we were greeted very warmly by the front desk lady with the name Brandy. She was very polite, gentle, and poised in interacting with us especially she knew how to make my child at ease and in a stress-reduced manner. Brandy then introduced us to the examiner, Sarah, who in a very calming and pleasant manner walked us through the test procedures and even gave us some quick refresh of hand signals and basic rules of the roads to make our son at ease. My son then took the road test and walked in the door after 25 minutes later with a broadly smile and a confident nod that he has earned 83% score and PASSED the road test! I-5 Driving School's service did not just ended there: Both Sarah and Brandy shared notes and spent the next 20 minutes to explain in details what our son did right, wrong, and what could be improved for even safer and COLLISION-FREE driving. We then learned that Brandy is one of the owners of the school. That explained why she was so passionate about helping us in making sure our son get properly trained and become legally qualified to drive. It was a very positive experience for us; we were very delighted and so gratified that we made the right choice in taking the road test here with I-5 Driving School's Mapple Valley branch. We only wished that we had taken our son here for the teen driving class. But at least now we know where to go to, and refer our friends and neighbors to, for the critical driver education & tests, especially for our other 2 kids. We share our experiences herein, with I-5 Driving School, as an input to other parents in their looking for the right institution to rely on to develop their teenage children to become safe drivers. I-5 Driving School is indeed a treasured asset to our Puget Sound community! T. N Woodinville, WA

My name is ARISTOTLE MARR, I attended this school and BEWARE!!! This school is not what they make…read moreit look like in the photos or Website, PLEASE DO NOT BE FOOLED!!! Let's first Start with the Office Representative Masami Billity, she will look you in the eyes and lie right to your face. Her only job is to GET YOUR MONEY after that she will string you along and it will take you months to Get your CDL instead of 4-5 weeks that it typically takes, so if you're plan is to take 5 weeks off from work and get your CDL choose a different school this place will lie and ruin your plans. I let her know that I wanted to take the Manual transmission course and she said "No problem we have several Manual transmission trucks available" that was a flat out Lie, there hadn't been ANY manual transmission trucks available for at least three to four weeks before and she knew this, she just wanted my money and lock me into a contract and then start stringing me out, she explained that once I complete my first 40 hours in the classroom via (ZOOM), I would be in the truck the following week, AGAIN LIE!!! She called me on my last day of classroom activities and informed me that she JUST received a call from the yard instructor stating that the Manual truck has JUST broke down and I wouldn't be able to go to the yard the following Monday to start my in truck sessions when she knew all along that there was no Manual truck before she took my Payment. I then stated that I was on a strict timeline and I have to have this class finished by a certain date and that this was not acceptable to me, so I was then allowed to go to the yard to do PRE-INSPECTION ONLY until a manual truck becomes available!!!! WOW did I luck out! Monday morning I showed up to the yard excited and eager get started and met another Manual student that arrived when I did, he stated that had already been strung along for 3 Months telling him there were no manual trucks available, I WAS SHOCKED! The only saving grace to this Whole school is the two SEATTLE yard instructors NIKO and ANDREY these guys are awesome they treat you like family they care about your success and will do everything in their power to teach you everything you need to know to get your CDL, However management treats them like total crap!!! the Yard has Pot holes everywhere, you can't even drive in the yard without dropping into 5 or 6 of them, management has broken down trucks on both sides of the yard it honestly looks like a Semi-truck wrecking yard instead of a school. But Niko and Andrey still push forward giving you their all, this school is lucky to have them, They seen my excitement and immediately placed me into a broken Manual truck to start by backing until a working truck became available. I ultimately finished my class and passed the test on the first try all credit to Niko and Andre, they will absolutely put your learning first when Managment and Masami could care less about your progress, they just want your MONEY!!! PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE AND SIGN UP WITH THIS SCHOOL, YOU MAY NOT BE AS LUCKY AS I WAS!!! DO NOT BE FOOLED pick a different school.

I have gotten my driver's license a few years ago in CA and have been driving in WA with my CA…read morelicense until it expired. I forgot to change my CA license to WA license, thus I need to retake a driving test in WA. I took a 30min warm-up lesson and passed the driving test today! I have previously done warm-up + test at a different driving school and failed, so I think I can provide some comparisons between the two experiences. Though I might be biased due to the different results, but I will try to be as impartial as possible. Jason, the owner and instructor at Street Law Driving School, was completely honest and up-front with me. During the warm-up, there was a stop sign where I did not come to a full stop and Jason told me in a test that would have disqualified me so that I can pay attention to that in the test. Also Jason helped me to improve in the back-maneuvering and parallel parking, the two sections that I got points of in my previous test. He gave simple but clear instructions on the steps I needed to take to perform those two tasks and asked me to repeat a few times until I have them nailed down all by myself. At the driving school where I took my previous test, the instructor simply went over the steps as if quoting out of an instruction manual without providing any feedbacks on what I did wrong, then took off points during the test. After the test, Jason went over the points that I missed in detail to make sure I actually have them remembered for my own safety. All of the points Jason took off make sense in the hindsight and are clearly explained. Whereas, in my previous test, the examiner just flat-out refused to provide any explanation for the points taken off and told me I'm a hazard to the road. I highly recommend Street Law Driving School to anyone, especially people who are in similar situation as I do. Jason holds the same standard as any examiner is expected to do, but at the same time, he also shows great compassion and wants to ensure the success of his students for their own safety, whereas, I find many other big-name driving schools mostly care about how to sell you more classes. Just for that alone, Jason and Street Law Driving School deserve all my recommendations.
