At no point did I ask you to assist me to "sue" another contractor, nor did I imply anything remotely close to that. That assumption was completely unfounded and frankly unprofessional on your part. For the record, I was able to part ways with the previous contractor in an amicable, professional, and respectful manner. We even exchanged a few cordial text messages after executing our contract termination agreement. What I did ask for was transparency, professionalism, and clear communication regarding the scope of work and your observations during the inspection process. Instead of asking clarifying questions like a straight shooter would, you jumped to conclusions about my intentions to "sue" another contractor. I'm a fair and professional person, and I have no issue with a contractor deciding they are no longer interested in a project. That happens. But the professional thing to do is communicate that clearly and directly -- not disappear, ignore calls and messages, and leave a prospective client completely in the dark after promising a proposal the same evening. My review was based entirely on my actual experience: you inspected the site, committed to sending a proposal, and then went completely silent with no follow-up whatsoever. The work was done well and they spent the time to make sure all the touch up spots were painted. They even realized that they were using paint in one ceiling that was slightly off in color so they went back to Lowe's to get the right matching paint color. These guys were also the best priced and they had the best availability too. I would use them again for drywall and paint repairs.

Henry Plastering seemed to be the most knowledgeable contractor I could find. They placed a new base coat over the existing stucco. Then they placed a color / finish coat. The color / finish coat was a spray on material with sand in it for texture. They reported that they could not replicate the rough trowel finish that was on my home. This spray on color / texture coat was not consistent in the color and in some places appeared to be stained. The biggest problem is that the spray on color / texture coat has blistered and separated from the base coat in many areas of my home.

Spent 3 days scraping, sanding and patching to prepare for painting as well as moving all items out of the way before painting. They masked off quite a bit of area to ensure that there would not be any overspray. This attention to preparation continued as they did the stucco, trim/facia/eaves, siding and doors. They also help trim back some of the vegetation from wrought iron fence that they painted. Very happy with the process and results. My wife is making plans to have them back to do some work on the inside of our house.

I…read morehad already pre arranged for a stucco repair guy to come out the next day( Sunday) but he had a problem with his truck and could not make it. The stucco guy that I had originally contracted wanted me to wait until the middle of the next week or Thursday for him to be able to possibly get to the repair. Mind you, the opening to be repaired was open and exposed to the elements and specifically an interior wall to my home. That was not gonna fly and I could not wait that long. So I got on yelp right away to see if there was anyone available on a Sunday. It was a stretch but I lucked out and found Top Dog Lath and and Plaster! I tried calling but not received a response and come to find out it was due to the company being out of cell phone range. As soon as they were I was able to get a hold of them that day (Sunday) and schedule this company to come out the next day Monday and complete the job. It was a little bit more than I had originally thought I was going to be paying but it's totally worth it!!! Gary showed up and did an excellent awesome job!!!!
