Dr. Hong understands what people need. Good customer service is key. The people that run the front desk are the face of his office to the outside world and all his clients, old and new. From the first time I called it was the voice on the other end that let me know this is where I am going to try first. I know now that professional, kind, and knowledgeable young lady was Sarah. My first visit I also met Nicole and Heather. They are equally amazing. Each lady brings something to the table and they work together like a well oiled machine. The first time I came this place was packed and they have a very diverse client base. I come to see them once a month and I find it is always that fast paced... and diverse customers are the norm. They are fast and keep things moving but they are courteous to everyone. They make jokes about the things that a lot of people would get frustrated about and have me laughing all the time. Dr. Hong cares about my pain and the quality of my life. I am a very busy business woman and he knows me well and that is important. Doctor Hong listens and he observes. He knows when I am feeling a bit down or am working too much or most importantly when l am in pain and he is always supportive and encouraging. He has literally changed my life for the better. What a horrible place. Made an appointment for 3 pm to get my card. I came in early at 245 to fill out the paperwork. Filled it all out gave it to them and they collected a payment of $115 at 3pm. At 320 they come out and tell me it's going to be at least 40 minutes until I will be seen. There was not one person in waiting room besides me so it's not because they were swamped. I got my money back and left as I won't put up with this kind of treatment from a place of care. This seems like it is a standard practice here judging by the way the receptionist behaved so don't waste your time on people who can't understand what an appointment time is. This is not a dr office it is a joke. Stay away if you value your time. read more

Great service from the moment I walk in the door. I was greeted nicely. Given some paper work to fill out. No sooner then I sat down my name was called. The whole process was quick and professional. The Doctor was outstanding and listen to me. I would like to thank Kyle who help me out with the paper work and try to get me on line with the state of Colorado. But I was lock out. Kyle went above the call of duty in helping me get this straighten out. And 10 days later when I got my new password from the state I called Kyle and he walked me through the whole process. Such a nice clinic with a streamlined and cost-effective way to receive a medical evaluation and get on with it. Friendly staff welcomed me to come and see Dr. Huong on the same day I called. They were definitely busy when I got there and there were some wait times, but overall they kept it moving in there and I was just surprised that so late in the week and last minute, I was able to get in and see Dr. Huong. Dr. Huong is a kind and compassionate man who didn't "feel busy" while he was taking his time to conduct my exam and get into a somewhat detailed medical past. It seems Dr Hong does not read your file when he comes in. Having an appointment means absolutely nothing. Waiting an hour is not unheard of here with an appointment. The office staff treats you like garbage, refuses to help you, and do not like to answer phones. Trying to get medical records is impossible. There are tons of places in Denver to go and get your card, I just would never come here again. read more

Not really sure where to start. I called this place at least a dozen times to ask questions and make an appointment but NO ONE answered. I'm talking all different times of the day during business hours but no answer. You can go make an appointment online, but without any confirmation that the place was even open, I really wanted to speak to a human being. A lot of places have been closing lately and wasting a trip would've taken a huge toll on me physically. Nonetheless I was desperate for an affordable place to get my first medical card. I'm not sure about the whole drug in itself, but being at the end of my rope in traditional treatments I figured nothing else can go wrong. So I get there before my appointment and end up at the hair salon next door who graciously told me that the correct office would be in an inconspicuous door to the right. The whole building looks like a box that someone forgot about. Street parking was more than easy to find. I walk into a very blank looking office and check in with a girl who doesn't seem very busy (but obviously too busy to answer any phone calls??). I filled out pages of paperwork that they also have online and paid the all-inclusive fee. I also gave some medical records for them to make a copy of (yes, I'm under 21). I waited for about 20 minutes longer until I was out in a room with almost nothing in it. No pictures, calendars, tools, or anything. It was pretty sketchy but I waited another 25 minutes in this room until the doctor came in. The visit went by so fast, he was probably in and out in two minutes although I asked some questions. And BAM I had my paperwork. Very easy visit although the waits were long. My biggest issue was the fact that they never answered their phone. read more

Emily, the front desk and back office nurse is great! She's friendly and professional. Unfortunately, that's the only positive thing I have to say. 1) No patient parking! How does a medical clinic not have designated patient parking? I'm so fortunate that I do not require a handicap parking spot, otherwise I would have been screwed! 2) HIPAA Violation galore! The walls are paper thin. I could hear EVERY word said between the doctor and patient next door. They need sound proofing STAT! 3) I don't know if the goal of Dr. Lenny Sujdak is to insult every patient, or if it was just me! He clearly loves the sound of his own voice. He gave me the same lecture as the patient next door (again, I could hear every word!) He didn't take the time to ask questions about me, he just wanted you to answer his preconceived leading questions that allows him to lecture you about things you already know! For example, he will ask: "do you have kids?" answer-yes "Did you let your kids do whatever they wanted when they were two years old?" answer-no "Well, why do you treat your body the same way? You need to start treating your body the same way you treated your two year old kids." WTF? He wanted to lecture me about trying EVERY source of canabis since "everyone responds differently." I told him that I love edibles, but since my gastric bypass surgery, I need to be careful with the sugar content of the edibles (they have a ton of sugar!) Oh man, I should have kept my mouth shut....then his lecture turned to how he disagrees with the surgery and since I'm just like every other American who wants instant gratification, I could have avoided the surgery if I would have just eaten appropriately to begin with. I just stared at him with a dumbfounded face, like, did he just say that to me?? As if that wasn't bad enough, he continued to say that now I'm going to have a lifetime of complications because he has two siblings that had the surgery and they are doing worse and not better. He assumed that I'm like his siblings!! I barely got a word in. He hijacked the entire appointment to talk about his OPINIONS (Not medical facts!) It's completely obvious that the AOA needs to conduct a CE on gastric bypass surgery for DO doctor's such as Dr. Sujdak! He is completely ignorant on the topic and needs informative literature STAT! I walked out of that clinic shaking my head. Wow, I just paid $90 to let an ego maniac make false assumptions about me and continue to degrade and judge me. 4) Last year I saw Dr. Chong at the Holly st location. Dr. Chong is great and if I can make an appointment with him next year, I'll go back, if not, then I'll have to look elsewhere! read more

The entire staff at MMD is terrific, especially Dr. Hong. I have been suffering from multiple lower back injuries for yr's and could never find consistent, continues care due to most doctors fearing of long lasting pharmaceutical treatment and CO's new medication laws. If you have a Legitimate injury and you bring your medical records in & don't just demand medication, Dr. Hong will all but bend over backwards to assist you. His bedside manner is unbeatable! He takes time to explain things, but more importantly he listens to You & how you feel. The only one negative, is they do get extremely busy and sometimes you will sit in one of the patient rooms, waiting to see the doctor for an extended period of time. read more

I had a very unprofessional experience visiting MMD Doctors for medical marijuana. Didn't even know what actual time my appointment was because I scheduled for 3:00, got emailed it was at 2:30, changed it to 2:45 (that's all they had available when I called find out why the email said 2:30), and then got another email it was at 3. So I just showed up at 2:45 and didn't get helped till 3. The front desk staff was nice but I didn't at all get a professional feel from the atmosphere as soon as I walked in. Honestly looked more like the visiting rooms you see in prisons on TV. Horrid lime green paint, just looked dingy everywhere I looked and the windows even had bars on them! But the doctor was by far the worst part. Completely unprofessional with hair standing on end and wrinkly, unclean (like literally unclean) scrubs. He would ask questions but would barely give me time to give answers and would instead interrupt with his next question. He then repeated all my answers back to me verbatim and I could absolutely tell he didn't process anything I was saying. He quickly (within probably 2 or 3 minutes) declined to treat me and when I tried to continue the conversation he shut me down, saying I could "see another doctor if I was a unhappy with his 'professional' opinion." Honestly did not feel at all like he gave a dang about anything, almost like he just thought I was lying. Medical marijuana doctor or not, there needs to be a certain level of professionalism and respect. Making patients who trusted you as a doctor feel like you don't care because you don't even listen is absurd. Definitely won't be returning and I won't feel bad if I see the office go out of business. Also, the photo you see up for them is not their office. At Least at the time of my review. Not sure if it's maybe an old one or not even theirs at all but their current office is almost embarrassing to call a medical office. read more

Dr, Hong is fantastic. He listens to you and is honestly interested in making you better; not just giving you drugs. But also letting you have medication that you actually need. The staff is friendly and helpful, Always get me in, even when I don not have an appointment or missed my appt. Thank you Doctor Hong for taking such great care of me for the last 2 years. I had been a patient here since 07/16 & I thought I was getting appropriate medical care, but apparently I was mistaken. Anyone seeing Dr. Hong and needs medical records for any reason, get copies now to make sure your records actually exist, review them for accuracy & quality before you need those records, request proof of any records sent out, & make sure your care is properly documented. My trust in Dr. Hong as a medical professional is gone. I had been a patient of Dr. Hong's since July, 2016. I saw him monthly and Dr. Hong has a cash only practice at $175 a month. I have a strong suspicion, as outlined below, that Dr. Hong is not keeping proper medical records on his patients whom he is prescribing medications. The SSDI office requested records from Dr. Hong on 5 separate occasions, by mail beginning 08/17, with no response. I asked Dr. Hong the status of the medical records request at my appts beginning in 08/17. He said his office manager was working on it & would send them when complete. Finally in 11/17 he stated the requested records were sent. I spoke with SSDI in early December & they had no records on file. I spoke with Dr. Hong & he stated the records would be sent again. In January, SSDI still had not received requested records from Dr. Hong & I again asked him for an explanation & for the records to be sent again. He assured me the records had been sent as requested. I asked again at my 01/18 appt, about 10 days later, & he said he sent the records again. I called & spoke with SSDI & again no records were on file. I also called & left a message on 7 separate occasions for Dr. Hong or Heather, twice a week on Tuesday & Friday for 3.5 weeks between my 01/18 & 02/18 appts, asking for a return call with the status of my medical records. I never received a return call. On 2/21/2018 I received a letter from SSDI denying the continuation of my benefits stating they didn't have enough proof that my disability continues based on the records received. Dr. Hong's records were never received & he is the provider I see most often. I called Dr. Hong's office around 4:30 pm on 2/21/2017 asking why my records were never sent & I was transferred to Heather's voice mail. I asked for a return call asking why the records were never sent & when I could pick up copies of my records to submit. SSDI allows a 10 day appeal window, which ended on 2/26/2018, so I needed those records immediately. I left messages again twice on 2/22/18. I never received a response. I called again on the morning of 2/23/18 & was placed on hold for over 30 minutes, & then again transferred to voice mail. I left another message stating I would be in the office in about an hour to pick up my medical records. I arrived at the office an hour later & was asked to wait in the waiting room for over 45 minutes. I was then escorted to a room where Dr. Hong came in & told me he would have my records ready on Monday 2/26/18 at 10am. He had no answer as to why it would take so long to get a copy of the packet his office supposedly submitted multiple times. I then went back to his office on 2/26/18 at 10 to pick up the records as requested. He provided me a packet of records for my visits & I left. After reviewing the records, there are significant concerns. -The time stamps are minutes apart & mostly consecutive on most of the records, but he remembered to correct the dates on my printed copies. 9:38 pm 07/16 9:40 pm 08/16 9:46 pm 09/16 9:47 pm 10/16 1:09 pm 11/16 10:21 pm 12/16 10:22 pm 01/17 10:24 pm 02/17 10:25 pm, 03/17 10:28 pm 04/17 10:36 pm 05/17 10:37 pm 06/17 10:39 pm 07/17 10:48 pm 08/17 10:50 pm 09/17 10:51 pm 10/17 10:52 pm 11/17 3:09 pm 12/17 12:13 pm 01/18 11:16 am 02/18 The records are inaccurate & document monthly exams that were never performed on any of my visits, wrongly document my reflexes as normal, documents assessment of touch, motor strength, reflexes, babinski reflexes, & straight leg test at each visit & never has assessed any of these aspects on me ever. Upon reviewing the records, most of the documents are copy and paste documents. My suspicion is the records weren't being properly kept, hence no records being available when I was in the office on 02/23/2018 & why he needed the weekend to get them together for me despite repeated requests for these records over 6 months. The records are not being properly kept, are grossly inaccurate when obtained, the provider willfully lied about the status of records, the provider avoided any contact and failed to respond to multiple requests for status updates, and the provider is failing his patients by failing to properly document visits, exams, and treatments. read more

I have been going to Metro Multi-Disciplinary Doctors for several years now and I am very satisfied with there service for the most part. I really appreciate their relaxed attitude with showing up early for my appointment. I have showed up as much as one hour early or more and they seem to have no trouble fitting me in just as though that was my appointment time. I read another person's review and he complained about the office décor and other things and I do agree that they really DO need to improve the office interior on 450 Lincoln Street. It's not very pleasant at all. It reminds me of a military office. However, I consider that a minor thing that REALLY doesn't affect the service. Dr. Hong has been very easy to work with and he listens to what I have to say unlike a lot of doctors. Before I saw Dr. Hong I was seeing Dr. John Schick and he was very enjoyable. I have been seen at 3 of their locations over the years. I started at 600 Grant Street and later I was asked to go to the new location on 2149 South Holly Street just south of East Evans Avenue. The picture shown here is at the Holly Street office. Now, I have to go to their office at 450 Lincoln Street and I hate it because I live in southeast Aurora which makes it a very long drive. I wish I could have stayed at the Holly Street office. One thing I feel is unfair and that is: I think they could be a little less greedy and only require me to see the doctor every other month due to the high cost of the office visits. However, I do understand the pressure they are under from the DEA and other law enforcement agencies. I would recommend them to anyone who suffers from severe pain. read more

Doctor Hong is by far the best pain management doctor that I've ever been to see. He knows me very well, and my pain tolerance as well as giving me advice about other ways to help control my pain. Sara at the front is one of the sweetest women that I've ever met in a doctor's office. We talk all the time, like old friends. The entire staff is wonderful and I would never want to go anyplace else for my pain management. They are very efficient, even when they are at their busiest. Dr. Hong, simply put, is amazing. I've been through many surgeries and have more than 4 auto-immune disorders and he knows each and every one and takes into consideration my other issues when prescribing my meds. I've been going to them for 4 years now and I would never think about going anywhere else. Dr. Hong has changed my life for the better. I can play with my kids, I can go on a hike and do the many things that I wasn't able to when my pain wasn't controlled.
