They do have a fairly large packet of paperwork to fill out, but they can send it to you ahead of time if you want to complete it using a PDF editor. I would definitely recommend filling it out before you arrive or giving yourself about 15 to 20 minutes before your appointment so you are not rushed. Nice modern furniture in the waiting room and patient rooms. They called me back pretty quickly once I checked in. I saw Dr. Tanner and he explained everything clearly and took the time to walk through what was going on and what the next steps would be. During my appointment, I was informed that they would have to request the notes from my cervical medial branch block doctor and my previous pain management doctor. This was a little disappointing given that I waited two weeks for this appointment and had previously provided my MRIS. There was no previous mention about my prior doctor's notes. I was also informed that they need to check for pre-approval for my tpi. Again, I explained to this doctor that my insurance doesn't require pre-approval. I called my insurance as soon as I left this office and they informed me that they will contact pain specialists of Nevada in the morning since they were already closed to inform them of their procedure. Dr Nguyen discussed other options with me like an epidural. We also discussed their MLS laser while I was there. I did explain to Dr helmi that I had some red laser treatment at a prior chiropractic office. He claimed that laser was a superficial laser that only went skin deep. I knew this was going to happen after I spoke to their incredibly rude manager two weeks ago. Fast forward 2 weeks, my appointment was made with the PA instead of the doctor. I have not been given a shot nor has the manager called me to discuss why my appointment was made with the wrong person. This is the only location that schedules three separate appointments for a trigger point injection. PA will see you without coming in for the initial appointment before the tpi. Dr Wu won't do that. I've been lied to as to why the first appointment is required. at first, they claimed they needed to check to make sure that my tpis are covered by insurance. This was a lie! After I called them out on this, they started seeing me without that first appointment. Last Thursday after they screwed up my appointment, I emailed their manager and I still have not received a response back. I get that they don't care about their patients, but now I have to wait even longer for my new doctors to get my MRI results and to schedule a TPI. They take our insurance which includes four free adjustments per month. Any more over that amount is just a small copay. Never had a billing issue here and their scheduling is easy. Most of the time we call and get a same day appointment. The only thing I don't like is they are only open Mon-Thurs. we were spoiled going to The Joint locations for six days a week. My schedule is open, but for hubby it makes it less flexible during the day because he is in and out of meetings. Dr. J is awesome and he always spoils me with heat and electrical muscle stimulation. It loosens up my neck and shoulder area, that's where I carry all my stress. That also makes it easier to give me an adjustment. He takes his time and does not let me leave until we have checked every possible situation of relief. Dr. J knows just what he is doing and since I have been going to chiros for over twenty years, I am very happy to have him soooo close to home!
