Lewis at the front desk was super helpful. Without his assistance I wouldn't have achieved my goal

Almost everyone there is friendly, even though it seems that they do tend to make errors. I met…read morewith a young lady, Dr Nguyen and Dr. Helmi. This is my first time at this office, two hrs later and no injections! I haven't started any treatment yet, although I thought I would be getting a TPI. During my appointment, I was informed that they would have to request the notes from my cervical medial branch block doctor and my previous pain management doctor. This was a little disappointing given that I waited two weeks for this appointment and had previously provided my MRIS. There was no previous mention about my prior doctor's notes. I was also informed that they need to check for pre-approval for my tpi. Again, I explained to this doctor that my insurance doesn't require pre-approval. I called my insurance as soon as I left this office and they informed me that they will contact pain specialists of Nevada in the morning since they were already closed to inform them of their procedure. Dr Nguyen discussed other options with me like an epidural. We also discussed their MLS laser while I was there. I did explain to Dr helmi that I had some red laser treatment at a prior chiropractic office. He claimed that laser was a superficial laser that only went skin deep. Their laser supposedly goes deeper. Two days later, I called in and spoke to I Sandy. She agreed there should be no issue since my insurance doesn't require pre-approval I asked to speak to her manager. 12 minutes later and I get transferred to Soroya

When I was…read morereferred back to them after leaving them seven years ago they made a false accusation that I didn't have an enzyme in my urine that breaks down my prescription... suggesting that I was not really talking them knowing my condition causes chronic pain. I see this trend happening a lot with this company with people of color and I intend to have a lawyer look into it. When I researched this supposed enzyme it is widely known that not everyone produces this. Producing the enzyme has genetic and health factors including medications already being taken. They gave me a lot of problems getting into the appointment for about 2 months and I have been without pain management for 2 months waiting to see them when they could have just told me that they had issues and I would've went elsewhere. I left them seven years ago and since then had no problems with urine testing with other pain management offices... only leaving because of an insurance issue. Please don't waste your time if you are a person of color. They suggest that we are either drug dealers or addicts.

Bait-and-switch Tactics & complete Lack of Communication…read more I was referred specifically to see a Physical Medicine doctor by my primary care physician. When this office called to book a last-minute cancellation slot, I jumped at the opportunity. However, the entire experience turned out to be a massive waste of time and felt entirely like a revenue grab. Despite having my referral paperwork naming a specific physician, no one on the scheduling staff bothered to inform me that the doctor no longer worked with this office. They had me fill out extensive paperwork, wait and go through a full examination with a practitioner I never requested. It wasn't until the end of the exam -when I realized the provider wasn't addressing my actual medical needs-that he informed me he specializes in Pain Management, not Physical Medicine, and that the original doctor was gone. Instead of being upfront from the start so I could find the right specialist, this office rushed me in, wasted my time, and offered me imaging and medications for a specialty I didn't even come in for. Save yourself the frustration and double-check everything before booking here-their front desk communication is abysmal and they clearly prioritize filling open appointment slots over actual patient care. I asked them do you see my requested doctor at the top of my referral? She said we get these ALL the time and we don't question it! Unbelievable, so I'm not the first, it happens often here!

At the Eastern office, I felt I was treated differently because I'm not Hispanic and don't speak Spanish. The service was unprofessional, and I left feeling ignored and uncomfortable. I decided to give the Sun City location a chance, but it was just as bad. I waited two hours to see the doctor, and she spent barely 15 minutes with me. When I tried to explain my symptoms and concerns, she dismissed everything and told me I was "too young" to have anything wrong -- simply because most of their patients in that area are older. She ordered a lot of bloodwork but didn't explain any of it. When I asked questions, she brushed me off and told me to take collagen and vitamins because I'm in my 40s. That had nothing to do with what I was actually feeling. She even made a rude comment when I asked about testosterone levels, instead of educating me respectfully. Both locations showed poor communication, lack of professionalism, and a complete disregard for patient concerns. If you're going to work in healthcare, you should care about people -- not stereotype them based on age, race, or language. This was unacceptable, and I will not be returning.
