During my time working with Dr. Najafi, he took the time to carefully and thoroughly help me manage my pain and achieve a level of stability that allowed me to function and continue pursuing my goals. He also helped me identify underlying conditions that were contributing to my pain, issues that had previously been overlooked. Addressing those conditions brought significant relief and has greatly diminished my pain. Throughout my time with this practice, staff members were professional, thoughtful, and kind. Appointments were well organized and on time. It was never difficult to get in to see Dr.Najafi, obtain medical records or referrals, or schedule and reschedule appointments. The office was consistently attentive, responsive, and efficient. Recently, I sustained a workplace injury and sought treatment through their practice. As part of my short-term disability claim with MET-Life, I requested that my medical records be sent to them; they even requested on 4 different occasions. Unfortunately, instead of forwarding the necessary documentation, their office issued an invoice for $142 to MET-Life without notifying me. Despite multiple follow-up calls, I was repeatedly told that records would be sent within 14 days. However, when I called MET-Life and their office jointly, I was informed that my records would not be released until the invoice was paid -- again, without any prior communication to me. Due to this breakdown in communication and delay in processing, my disability claim was denied. This has had a serious impact on my financial and professional situation. While I continue to hold Dr. Trujillo and the clinical team in high regard, I must express that the administrative handling of this matter has been deeply disappointing. I am now considering legal options to address the consequences of this mishandling. I was actually able to get a same day appointment on a Friday, which felt pretty amazing when you are in pain and trying to get things taken care of quickly. Anyone who has been dealing with several doctor visits knows how valuable that is. They do have a fairly large packet of paperwork to fill out, but they can send it to you ahead of time if you want to complete it using a PDF editor. I would definitely recommend filling it out before you arrive or giving yourself about 15 to 20 minutes before your appointment so you are not rushed. Nice modern furniture in the waiting room and patient rooms. They called me back pretty quickly once I checked in. I saw Dr. Tanner and he explained everything clearly and took the time to walk through what was going on and what the next steps would be. It was a really smooth experience and I would absolutely be happy to be referred here again.

They take our insurance which includes four free adjustments per month. Any more over that amount is just a small copay. Never had a billing issue here and their scheduling is easy. Most of the time we call and get a same day appointment. The only thing I don't like is they are only open Mon-Thurs. we were spoiled going to The Joint locations for six days a week. My schedule is open, but for hubby it makes it less flexible during the day because he is in and out of meetings. Dr. J is awesome and he always spoils me with heat and electrical muscle stimulation. It loosens up my neck and shoulder area, that's where I carry all my stress. That also makes it easier to give me an adjustment. He takes his time and does not let me leave until we have checked every possible situation of relief. Dr. J knows just what he is doing and since I have been going to chiros for over twenty years, I am very happy to have him soooo close to home!

And now they are charging a 3% fee if you use a credit card. I know that businesses are starting to do this more and more, but I still see it as a cost of doing business and should not be an expense patients should pay. What's next, help with the utilities? She wasn't the person to wait until you get something serious, she was the person who wanted to prevent something serious from happening if she recognized the signs. And she wasn't afraid to test for things. I even referred other people to her, including my wife. However in the beginning of this year, I believe she had an accident and had to have a surgery. I personally was very sympathetic and genuinely wished her smooth recovery. However, I have lots of problems with my health, so instead of requesting a meeting, I sent an email with some questions hoping it will be easier for her to respond at her own pace vs having to meet me. I sent it to her office and figured they'll let her know and she'll decide. It's her own practice, after all. But the office completely ignored me. Then I called and they made me feel weird about it.. Then they said that Dr Valencia now sees patients and they can fit me in so I can get my answers. At that point, it was already June. I prepared a few questions and came to the appointment. From the get go, her staff asked me about medication, and I made a comment that Dr Valencia put me on niacinamide but I didn't know if I should continue taking it cus my liver numbers weren't so great. Then dr Valencia came. I could tell from the second j saw her, she was agitated. She started talking to her staff about me in the third person, right in front of me. Then all of a sudden, she zeroed in on this stupid medication and started lecturing me/half yelling about how if I don't want to take the medication, I don't have to. But I'm not a doctor. I had concerns about my liver numbers and I needed her advice as to what to do. But she kept yelling at me or talking to her staff with her back on me in the third person in such an annoyed and irritated matter that I'm not kidding there was a moment I felt it I was about to burst in crying. She never once let me even open my mouth for a second, she kept talking how she had all these patients and I basically wasted her time about this medication and she wouldn't stop talking about it. Like it wasn't even any of my questions. I never had a chance to even ask a question. At some point, I couldn't take it anymore and I just got up and left. I decided not to hold it against her because it seems to me that she didn't have any proper time to heal after surgery and had to go back to work, because it's her business and I'm sure she didn't want to risk closing it. We all have bills to pay. But at the same time, I couldn't help it, I felt very upset. I didn't deserve any of this. I was trying to be considerate and sent an email so she could respond when she can. She refused to do so. Then the office insisted I come for an appointment, which I did. They are the ones who asked about the medication, and then Dr Valencia zeroed in on it and was extremely angry and treated me like sh*t the entire appointment. I left with 0 questions answered, too. Additionally, right before Dr. Valencia's accident, my wife whom I referred, had her biopsy done, which I had done before as well, and it was very painful and took like 6months to heal and I still have 3 scars on my leg. But my wife to this very date never got her results. We've been calling and emailing the office, no one ever answers or returns the calls. We left multiple voicemails asking just to email us the results. Nothing!its been months! Her insurance is trying to charge her thousands of dollars for this biopsy and we can't even get the results. And what now? To go to another neurologist and go through another painful biopsy and get additional 3 scars and pay another thousand of dollars? It's madness! I have a lot of compassion and understanding for Dr Valencia situation, I'm sure getting into this accident and not even being able to heal properly left her angry. It would make any of us angry. But she's not a regular person, she's a doctor who has an obligation to her patients. It's not right to take it out on us when we didn't do anything wrong. It's not right to ignore her patients and not to give them their results after making literal holes in their body. The least she can do is inform us she doesn't take patients, give people their results, and take a break. But she's handling all this in the worst way possible. I can see from other reviews here and on Google, lots of her devoted and loyal patients were subjected to similar treatment. There's just no excuse for that! All I want at this point is just to get my wife's results and find another doctor who has mental capacity to do their job.
