I was having a wake for my uncle at my house on saturday, and I needed to get rid of it all. I called up Junk Master on thursday hoping that I could get him to come out either thurs or fri. I told him how much it would be, and he gave me a fair estimate, although I guess there was some confusion on both of our parts. I had thought I told him about an old lazy boy that needed to go, but I may have been wrong. Our appointment was set for friday morning, and at about 9:10, I received a call letting me know that he was going to be a little late due to traffic. Our appointment wasnt until 9:30. I respect a business that will let you know the moment theyre going to be late. Seeing as I was listening to the radio at the time, and knowing 101, I already figured he would be late. Props for calling ahead of time though. When he got here, he gathered up all my crap that was already piled up, and tossed it into his truck. When he saw that he had to take the lazy boy, he called and let me know that the lazy boy was extra. Something about how bulky it was, which I understood, but thinking that Ihad told him about it, I was confused. lol. Things ended up working out great though. He didnt overcharge me like most places would have. With a place like this, youre paying for convenience, and thats EXACTLY what you get from these guys. Very polite, and fast working. If youre looking for someone to haul away all that crap thats sitting in your garage/backyard/house, I would suggest calling Junk Master up. In California, unlicensed contractors (i.e., handymen) cannot do a project where the value in labor *and* materials exceed $1,000 (increased in 2025 from $600). Elite has positioned themselves to fill both ends of the spectrum by offering exceptionally competitive handyman rates for handyman work, while still being able to do the larger projects that end up exceeding the $1,000 limit and thus require a contractor's license. What that means to everyone from property management companies to homeowners is that you are working with a licensed and bonded company which offers you the necessary protections should things go wrong (I have never had an issue with Elite, but in my role as a fiduciary, it is critical that our property owners are always protected). I receive unsolicited reports from tenants after Elite completes projects to praise their professionalism, cleanliness, respectful and pleasant demeanors, efficiency, and quality of their work. Tenants aren't usually so ebullient with our contractors, but Elite is the exception. I can wholeheartedly recommend Elite for everything from plumbing and electrical work to substantial remodels, having seen first hand their ability to properly and economically perform everything I have sent their way.

He worked with my wife & they both did it all together: lighting, vanity, mirrors, tile, toilet and flooring! We'd definitely contact Jason for our contractor/handy man services for every need we have but unfortunately we moved so far (Danville/Blackhawk) from his service area we are not able to. Although he agreed to come do our kids bathroom since we've been repeat customers dating back to over 5 years now. We hired him for a bunch of projects throughout our house, adding light fixtures, fixing drywall, painting, and putting up a barn door. Jason completed them... very poorly. When he came to fix and texture the drywall he brought one of his buddies who was hungover and kept telling us as much, and his work product reflects that as well. When it came time for the "big project" the barn door Jason made the process as difficult as possible. Firstly when everything arrived he didn't bother to open the box and see what hardware was included and what may be needed for the install. Then he did the initial install and blamed the parts for being bad. After a lot of back and forth with him and the company we decided to go a different route and purchase the main rail ourselves and have Jason fit it. The project that was supposed to take a few hours ended up taking days with Jason continually making excuses and blaming the product instead of taking accountability. At one point even saying to me "I'm not redoing this rail, we should just cut the door." A $3,000.00 custom door?!? Yeah no we're not cutting that. So he had to come back and redo everything again, this time chipping and damaging our barndoor and making the soft close in operable. By this point I had enough of his services so we paid him and were done with it. While he did offer to come help fix the scratches and gouges he made on the door, it was done so in a rude manner at one point even being extremely misogynistic towards my wife, needless to say we simply do not trust him to ever set foot in our house again. You're better off paying the extra money and going with someone that is actually licensed, bonded and insured. Learn from our mistakes and save yourself the time, money and headache.

Unfortunately, things went downhill. On multiple occasions Jorge claimed appointments were scheduled that never were, even insisting my wife had set them up when she hadn't. Requests for availability went unanswered, followed by vague messages implying we'd agreed to plans we never discussed. The final straw: we walked his gardener through a detailed list of tasks -- cleanup, trimming overgrown areas, and installing soil we'd purchased at their recommendation from a previous visit. That soil still sat unused, and the requested trimming was never done. Disappointing, given how promising things looked at the start. We won't be rebooking.
