So, I had been looking around for someone to come and pick up all the crap that was in my backyard. Not owning a truck makes things difficult. I was having a wake for my uncle at my house on saturday, and I needed to get rid of it all. I called up Junk Master on thursday hoping that I could get him to come out either thurs or fri. I told him how much it would be, and he gave me a fair estimate, although I guess there was some confusion on both of our parts. I had thought I told him about an old lazy boy that needed to go, but I may have been wrong. Our appointment was set for friday morning, and at about 9:10, I received a call letting me know that he was going to be a little late due to traffic. Our appointment wasnt until 9:30. I respect a business that will let you know the moment theyre going to be late. Seeing as I was listening to the radio at the time, and knowing 101, I already figured he would be late. Props for calling ahead of time though. When he got here, he gathered up all my crap that was already piled up, and tossed it into his truck. When he saw that he had to take the lazy boy, he called and let me know that the lazy boy was extra. Something about how bulky it was, which I understood, but thinking that Ihad told him about it, I was confused. lol. Things ended up working out great though. He didnt overcharge me like most places would have. With a place like this, youre paying for convenience, and thats EXACTLY what you get from these guys. Very polite, and fast working. If youre looking for someone to haul away all that crap thats sitting in your garage/backyard/house, I would suggest calling Junk Master up. Theyve also got a $30 off coupon on their page as well as one off a 10% off a full truck load. Saving you a few bucks, and still doing the job the way it SHOULD be done. Big thumbs up. Brian is fantastic and runs a superb business. He brings strong moving support and they do an incredible job. I hired Brian and Martine to help me pick up some furniture (bed, huge sofa, dining table, etc). The move required carrying these VERY heavy pieces down THREE floors of TIGHT staircases. They somehow managed this feat with no complaint and great professionalism. There was the tiniest scuff on the end of the bed frame, which Brian fixed with a furniture pen. He did not charge me for the extra time and let me keep the pen at no charge. The furniture is all 100% perfect now and the move was VERY affordable. I can't recommend Brian enough! read more

If you need junk removed, Brian and Junk Master are the people to use. Plain and simple, this company is fast, prices very reasonable, and the whole transaction was hassle free. We had bought a new couch and needed to get rid of the old one + a few items (large fishtank, broken game table, rusted bbq, old chairs, etc) and didn't have a truck to move them. I had looked into taking it all to the dump but that would require us to rent a UHaul so I went to Yelp to get a few estimates. 10am - Called another company, Set an appointment for three days later. Really? 10:15 - Called Brian - Said he was really busy but could stop by later in the afternoon to give me an estimate. 12:30 - I am running an errand when he calls me. While driving back I called him and give him permission to look on the side of my house so that I can get an estimate. The price was lower than I had anticipated so I told him to start working. 1:15 - Arrive home to Brian and another man loading up his truck. 1:30 - My house is clean I was incredibly pleased by Junk Master and the whole transaction. I will recommend and use this company for all of my future waste removal needs. read more

JunkMaster is AMAZING!!! My husband & I originally had a quote from (let's say it rhymes with Junk Ding) for over $600! Brian at JunkMaster did the job for less than HALF that price! We threw him for a loop with all the old concrete & bricks that we needed to remove, but he did it with a smile! He's fast too! The other hauling company claimed they couldn't start the work until today, meanwhile Brian was already hauling off the last of it! And talk about polite! This guy owns his own business (franchise I assume) & is still down to earth and...NORMAL! Some guys that own their own business are stuck on themselves.. Not this one! I was downsizing from a good size home to a smaller apartment, which meant that I needed to get rid of STUFF. After several weeks of purging my closets and rooms I found myself overwhelmed with junk. Soon after the junk started to pile up in the garage and the trash followed. At the end of my move my garage had become the dumping ground for anything and everything. My mom recently moved from san mateo to redwood city and there was a ton of junk in her garage ( old refrigerator, washing machine, carpet, etc.) that had to go fast. The Salvation Army said they would take a lot of our stuff, but wound up not taking the slightly used entertainement centers, sofa andf recliner. All of this was already out in the driveway. After reading the reviews on Yelp, Brian looked to be a good bet. I called in the early afternoon expecting to have to make an paoointment for later this week, or next week. Brian absolutely amazed me in his professionalism and exemplary customer service when I needed someone to haul my tree debris and yard waste out of my front and back yard. You see, I am a first time home-owner and I hadn't the faintest idea who to call for junk removal. My mother found a guy who offered to do it for a ridiculous amount so I turned to yelp for referrals. I called junk master and they immediately set up an appt for the next day. Brian showed up promptly at the appt. but I found out that my mother was 30 mins late herself so nobody opened the door for Brian. I called him back and apologized but he was so nice to offer to come back in the afternoon. He quoted me a super competitive price for the job and I had my friend give him the money when they were finishing the job while I was out of town. Junkmaster did its job in moving some furniture and removing some junk. The owner agreed to move additional things that I didn't tell him beforehand as long as I paid extra (which is of course reasonable for him to ask). However, even though he agreed, he did not follow through immediately. I asked him to move some things to the East Bay to my family member, which he agreed. I found out from my family member that night that he did not go, and yet he did not bother to call to inform me. I called him and he told me he would do it the next day. My family member called the next day and I found out he still did not go so I called him again. Eventually he did go, but he had to make the comment that East Bay is too far. I wasn't happy with the fact that he did not call me to inform me about not going to East Bay twice; I had to find out from my family member. Furthermore, if he did not want to go to Easy Bay in the first place, he could've just told me when I asked him. Another side comment: the movers also did not handle my brand-new plastic box with care; some plastic pieces broke off the box. I understand that the box was heavy and it was probably an accident, but still, the movers were supposed to be professional. Basically, I wouldn't ask for Junkmaster's service ever again for its so-so customer service. read more
