Oh, they stayed on to re-deck my aged and rotting wood deck with some modern synthetic decking. Yes, quite a bit of repair work, yet all done within a couple of weeks. Well, it's been about two years since they've done this work and I'm sitting in this season's first major rainstorm thankful that the repair work has been holding quite well. When I asked for the specifics that we discussed to be in the quote, I got a rude and dismissive response. I explained that it wouldn't be smart of me to agree to pay $4700 without a full description of the work that made sense and covered what we discussed. But I got no revised quote. When I contacted the owner Alex, he asked me to disregard the quote. Thereafter, I waited for an entire day for a new quote and didn't get one. When I asked whether there would be a new quote, I got no response. I followed up again one day later, and was ignored again. It seems this company doesn't stand by its offers, behaves unprofessionally, and treats customers poorly - at least in my experience. They seem to ghost you when you simply ask for a basic written contract (as is required legally for such a high priced job). I don't see how ignoring a cistomer who is asking for something basic and reasonable is good business. If they want to contact me to provide a proper explanation and a correction of the problems, then I will consider taking down my honest review.
