Although we'd had a late lunch, I was craving a burger and this was enroute. The burgers were delicious this time -- perfectly cooked. I got their original cheeseburger. I added horseradish sauce from the sauce bar. My husband got their original burger and added mustard, mayo, ketchup and onions. Both burgers came with lettuce and tomato. Glad to know they're still a good option for a good burger.

And its open early so perfect for a pre-noon beverage after a good round on the course. We get in usually about 1045. There's usually close to a dozen people also celebrating, maybe just that its the weekend. The vibes are always cheery. The other day we came in and there were dozens of locals having a pot luck lunch. They insisted we grab some food. I have gotten food from the kitchen a few times. If its not to busy the cook comes out for a bit. It's the best to just ask him straight up, "what's cooking good today", and he will tell you. His Philly is excellent. I did see it on a list the other day somewhere that it was one of the top dive bars in South Florida. I concur.

He introduced us to the chef and to the team member who created the delicious watermelon slushie.
