It never ceases to amaze at how we pass by excellent eateries daily, yet don't check them out just to satisfy our curiosity. This is the case with Di Subs. We pass this small sub shop, and we are being generous when we say small, on a daily basis. As much as we love subs, hoagies, etc., we never stopped there. YELP helped us make a firm decision to get lunch at Di Subs. Just a heads up. If you are traveling north on Andrews, you might miss it. The eatery is located on the southeast corner of Andrews Ave. and Atlantic Blvd. Once there, we ventured inside, and received a delightful greeting. Not only are the wonderful women who work there, friendly, they are FAST! And they are consistent with it. After our first phenomenal visit, we we back about a week later. Same greeting! Same service! It is standing room only inside. Fortunately, we were never there during a rush. We would imagine there would be a line out the door in that scenario! Regarding our orders, they did not skimp on the menu items. We had a bag with two footlong subs that weighed darn near as much as a 10 lb weight plate at a gym!!! And the subs were not crammed with items, or overstuffed. Everything fit neatly inside. Sandwich artisans they definitely are! Then as we were ordering our large Italian sub which my husband and I split, another guy who was behind us raved about the place. Located on a strip of Industrial warehouses, you don't quite anticipate seeing a sub shop on this corner. However, don't let that fool you. This place makes some serious sandwiches that will not disappoint. All in all, the sub was quality. Di uses freshly sliced BoarsHead meat and provide you with an overly generous portion of it. Something you can't ever complain about. The bread they use is pretty good, only problem is that the roll is almost too small for how much meat and toppings they give you! Once again this is an issue that sub lovers can't complain about. I will be coming back. I highly recommend the Italian sub. read more

Have been a customer for many many years. It's ALL good. Best as take out, it's small but they are so fast. They'e on the SE corner, if you drive from the north continue to drive a bit south of them & make a U-turn so you can turn Right into the parking lot, it's safer than trying to turn in front of multiple lanes of trucks etc. We drive many miles out of our way, pass many other options, they are that delicious. read more

The menus in there have different prices. The one closest to the customer has a price of $6 for a 6" sub. while other signs state a dollar more. But when it was rung up - totaled $8! You could get a complete combo at that price soooo keep driving to Subway - not worth it! read more

I know they use Boars Head Meats just like Public and a few others but they can't compare to Di's Subs, Try one and You'll see what I mean. Has to be the way its made and the Live they put into it. Wow, was in town for business, and wanted a quick bite to eat. I am always looking for local businesses or hidden gems. This place is exactly that, a hidden gem. All of the reviews raved about the meat selection and the bread. Everything is Boars Head, with an excellent selection of cheeses, and soft hoagie rolls that served as a great vessel to hold everything together. All of the veggies are freshly cut. A whole in the wall little sub joint that makes some pretty great subs! They use Boars Head meats (a plus) and have hot and cold subs. The service was fast and I was in and out pretty quickly. Pretty nice variety of subs and the chips that go along with it. Bread was much softer than Publix pubs which tend to hurt the roof of my mouth. Not a happy camper today. It could be that the old lady made my sandwich and she might have been stressing out the young girls that normally are there when I go in. My sandwich was blah. No vinegar no oil. I asked 3 times if there was vinegar the old lady cutting the meats said yes but she was not the one putting it on my bread she was cutting the meats. Maybe she shouldn't have answered maybe she should have let the girl who was putting the vinegar on my bread answer. I get it I am a business owner it's a control thing. Step back let them do their job, they do a good job when you are not there cutting the meats and trying to micro manage your workers. I rave about your subs and decided to bring my husband one home. He was not impressed at all.it was bland and the bread was stall. Guess it's back to Publix for him :(. I also am upset because I spent a little more on mine compared to what I have paid in the past.
