    Pulled pork sandwich with fries

We found this food truck at Plantation's Rock the Park event. There were many food trucks there, and Jerk It had a pretty long line and colorful boards with pictures of their food outside so we decided to give it a try. I ordered the beef brisket sandwich and my husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Both came on a sesame seed bun with French fries. The truck seemed clean and everything is made to order, so it takes a little while. Both of us felt the same about our sandwiches; good but not great. Both had good flavor, but were kind of fatty. The fries were good, and very hot so I knew they were fresh. I might try give Jerk It another try for the jerk wings or the chicken breast bowl.

My first food truck night experience in Hollywood and I just had to stop here first. They were very inviting and I knew we had to try their jerk cuisine. I ordered the jerk pork with rice and peas. The service was quick in having our order ready. The seasoning was perfect and the pork was so moist. Portion size was more than I expected. I also ordered the passion fruit lemonade which was refreshing and not too sweet. Looking forward too going back and trying more of their dishes!

Quite impressed with the flavors being served up from Jerk It food truck. They were visiting my apartment complex as part of our weekly food truck partnership. I ordered the Brisket Platter with rice and beans. The jerk sauce was delicious. Some of the best I've ever had. It complimented the brisket and didn't overpower it. The brisket was extremely tender and had some wonderful flavor with not too much fat. The rice and beans were solid as well. Good portion. A little pricey, but definitely worth it. They're menu consists of sandwiches, platters, side dishes and mango lemonade. Chicken, brisket, shrimp, pork, salmon are the proteins, rice, beans, mac and cheese, and french fries are the side dishes. Highly recommend if their in your vicinity, and you're craving some authentic jerk flavor.

Great!!!!! Jerk chicken and the sauces all 5 of them are fantastic. The rice was lackluster but man that chicken had all the aroma and flavor and it was great to dip each bite into a different sauce like jerk bbq, hot jerk, spicy jerk, and pepper sauce if you like it really hot!

The Jerk It Cuisine food truck was at my job today. The cook told me the Sweet & Savory Salmon was going to be the best salmon I ever tasted... He wasn't lying.

We got the Jerk Chicken with Rice and Beans. Lemonade on the side. The jerk chicken tasted good, but i believe they use a chainsaw to chop the chicken into pieces. It isn't cut at all at the joints or cartilage, which basically causes tons of small bone pieces all through the chicken, making the meal not very appetizing. Lemonade is good!

This is a very delicious and fresh Jamaican/Caribbean food on wheels. There were 7 trucks at the Pembroke Pines city festival yesterday and I did good with my choice. I'm very picky when it comes to food trucks and review carefully but this one exceeded my expectations. I ordered crab cakes, jerk shrimp, and jerk chicken with the side of festival, rice and peas and mac'n'cheese. Beautiful!! The shrimp is much more fresh and juicier than you can find in many seafood restaurants... cooked to perfection, and they put plenty of it. Crab cakes are delicious and I couldn't get enough so good. I loved their Jamaican lemonade, natural and thirst-quenching perfectly. The truck is clean, the food is freshly made, the service is great, convenient credit card payment by Square. Thumbs up. I will follow the truck to try the rest of the menu. I like it.

Went out today to Coral Springs park to the Pokemon festival instead found a really really good authentic Jamaican food truck with really great jerk chicken and pork. Will definitely be buying again when they are nearby. Staff was friendly and courteous.

So, I walked into the Brgr Stop while waiting for my order at Bella Rosa to see what their menu was like. To my surprise they were playing bingo in there. The next evening we decided to try Brgr, we dined in. Service was pretty good and the food was very tasty. I had the "Cheesesteak Project", which was very good. My wife had the "Grilled Chicken BLT", she enjoyed it. They are a bit pricy for what you get. Their pictured Onion Ring Tower at $14 looks like 8 larger onion rings, too much for fried onions... We did enjoy their Da Best Mexican Street Corn, which I really enjoyed, messy but very good. We will return to try some other things, but some are too much money for the portions. The Big A$$ Pretzel at $16 seems ridiculously priced. Try it though because there are some really good-looking items on their menu.

I've been coming to this establishment for quite some time, and it has always been my go-to place for burgers. Unfortunately, today's dining experience will be my last. We arrived shortly after 5 p.m. and the restaurant was nearly empty, with only one occupied table inside and one outside. We sat at a four-top because my elderly mother was with us. Almost immediately, we noticed that the music was so loud we could barely hear the person sitting next to us. When the waitress came to take our drink order, we politely asked if the music could be lowered--not turned off, just lowered enough so we could have a conversation. She looked at us somewhat strangely, said okay, and walked away. When she returned with our drinks, we asked again about the music. Her response was, "I thought they did." We decided to stay, order our food, and try to enjoy our meal. When our appetizer, the onion ring tower, arrived, the music was still blaring. We asked once again if it could be turned down just a little. This time we were told that the manager had texted the owner, and the owner said the music needed to remain at that level. At that point, the server did offer to move us to another area of the restaurant, which we appreciated. The music was somewhat better there, so we stayed. Unfortunately, the food was just as disappointing. The burgers arrived cold, and the bacon tasted as though it had come straight from the refrigerator. The cheesesteak bun was burnt, and the meat filling was lacking. This was nothing like the food we had enjoyed here in the past. It's disappointing to leave a restaurant I've supported for years feeling that loud music was considered more important than the comfort of its customers. When a customer politely asks for the music to be lowered so they can have a conversation--especially when the restaurant is nearly empty--it seems like a reasonable request. Sadly, between the refusal to lower the music and the decline in food quality, we will not be returning. It's a shame, because this used to be one of my favorite places for a burger. When a restaurant is nearly empty shortly after 5 p.m., perhaps it's worth listening to what customers are telling you.

The space was exactly what we were looking for. It was private, beautiful, and perfect for networking and conversation. From the very beginning, Nicole, the Group Sales Director, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was kind, responsive, and patient with the many questions we had while planning our event. She made the entire booking process seamless and stress-free. We preordered shareables for our guests, and everything came out perfectly. What really stood out was the staff's attention to detail. They even asked if we'd like to keep some of the food under the warming lamps until more guests arrived before bringing it out. That level of thoughtfulness truly went above and beyond. Our server, Phillip, was fantastic as well. He managed all of our guests' individual orders on his own while remaining friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout the event. We arrived early to decorate, and the team couldn't have been more accommodating. They provided us with a speaker so we could play music and even came to the rescue by lending us markers and tape after we realized we had forgotten ours. Those small gestures made a big difference. And now, the food... Absolutely incredible! The vodka margherita flatbread was, without a doubt, one of the best flatbreads I've ever had. It was SO good. The spinach dip was equally delicious, and every dish we ordered received compliments from our guests. The cocktails were just as impressive and perfectly complemented the meal. Everything exceeded our expectations, and our event couldn't have gone more smoothly. I'm already looking forward to coming back to explore more of the menu because if what we had is any indication, it's going to be another fantastic experience. A huge thank you to Nicole and the entire Dear Olivia team for making our event such a success. I highly recommend Dear Olivia Bar & Kitchen, whether you're planning a private gathering or simply looking for a great meal and drinks. We'll definitely be back!

Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Coconut Creek Review…read moreDinner Date: August 23, 2026 Location: 4473 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, Florida 33073 Hubby and I decided to go out for dinner with his brother and wife. We wanted to spend some time together, have a few drinks, and enjoy a nice dinner, so we decided to visit Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant in Coconut Creek. We arrived around 5:00 PM and had reservations. Unfortunately, when we entered the restaurant, we were not greeted at the entrance, which was our first disappointment. Once we were seated, we were greeted by our waiter, Brian. I want to give credit where credit is due because Brian was attentive and did everything, he was supposed to do. He asked us what we wanted to drink, asked about appetizers, checked when we were ready to order our meals, and continued to provide us with service throughout our dinner. Unfortunately, the food was a completely different story. I ordered the meatball appetizer, and when it arrived, I immediately noticed something was wrong. The meatballs appeared to be burned underneath the sauce, and they were so hard that I could barely get my fork into them. I had to stop Brian and ask him to take the meatballs back to the kitchen and remove them from my bill. Brian did so, and I appreciated that he addressed the issue. I then ordered Churrasco Steak with Parmesan Fries. The steak itself was good, but the fries were cold, hard, and did not have any Parmesan on them, even though Parmesan fries were part of the order. At this point, I was extremely disappointed with my meal. And my brother In-law who ordered a steak sandwich with Cesar salad, the salad never arrived with his meal. And when we stopped our waiter for the salad it took 1/2 hr to stop him and remind him of the missing salad. The dinner portion took 45 minutes before being served on a busy Saturday night. Because I was so unhappy with my experience, I asked Brian if he could please get the Manager because I wanted to personally explain what had happened. The manager, Tim, came to our table. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed by his response. He did not appear concerned about my experience, and I did not receive an apology for the problems I had with my meal. I had to ask him, "What can you do for me?" What happened next made the situation even more frustrating. Instead of addressing the fact that my meal was the one that had the problems, the manager decided to give me credit for my brother-in-law's sandwich. I did not understand this resolution because my brother-in-law was not the person who had the problem with his meal. I was the customer who had the burned meatballs, the cold and hard fries, and the missing Parmesan. At that point, I felt that my complaint was simply not being taken seriously. I want to be clear that Brian, our waiter, was not the problem. He was attentive, polite, and did what he could to help when I brought the food issues to his attention. My biggest disappointment was with the management response. When a customer takes the time to explain that they had a horrible dining experience, I believe the manager should show concern, listen to the customer, apologize, and make an appropriate effort to resolve the situation. Unfortunately, I did not feel that happened during our visit. This was supposed to be a nice evening out with family, and instead, I left feeling very disappointed. The food was not what I expected, and the lack of concern from Manager Tim made the experience even worse. Unfortunately, I would not recommend Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant in Coconut Creek to others based on this experience. I strongly suggest that management consider providing additional customer service training, particularly regarding how complaints are handled and how managers should respond when a customer is genuinely dissatisfied. The waiter Brian deserves recognition for doing his job well. Unfortunately, the food and the management response left a very bad impression. Management more Training!!!! Especially Mr. Tim. Disappointed Customer.
