    Pulled pork sandwich with fries

We found this food truck at Plantation's Rock the Park event. There were many food trucks there, and Jerk It had a pretty long line and colorful boards with pictures of their food outside so we decided to give it a try. I ordered the beef brisket sandwich and my husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Both came on a sesame seed bun with French fries. The truck seemed clean and everything is made to order, so it takes a little while. Both of us felt the same about our sandwiches; good but not great. Both had good flavor, but were kind of fatty. The fries were good, and very hot so I knew they were fresh. I might try give Jerk It another try for the jerk wings or the chicken breast bowl.

My first food truck night experience in Hollywood and I just had to stop here first. They were very inviting and I knew we had to try their jerk cuisine. I ordered the jerk pork with rice and peas. The service was quick in having our order ready. The seasoning was perfect and the pork was so moist. Portion size was more than I expected. I also ordered the passion fruit lemonade which was refreshing and not too sweet. Looking forward too going back and trying more of their dishes!

Quite impressed with the flavors being served up from Jerk It food truck. They were visiting my apartment complex as part of our weekly food truck partnership. I ordered the Brisket Platter with rice and beans. The jerk sauce was delicious. Some of the best I've ever had. It complimented the brisket and didn't overpower it. The brisket was extremely tender and had some wonderful flavor with not too much fat. The rice and beans were solid as well. Good portion. A little pricey, but definitely worth it. They're menu consists of sandwiches, platters, side dishes and mango lemonade. Chicken, brisket, shrimp, pork, salmon are the proteins, rice, beans, mac and cheese, and french fries are the side dishes. Highly recommend if their in your vicinity, and you're craving some authentic jerk flavor.

Great!!!!! Jerk chicken and the sauces all 5 of them are fantastic. The rice was lackluster but man that chicken had all the aroma and flavor and it was great to dip each bite into a different sauce like jerk bbq, hot jerk, spicy jerk, and pepper sauce if you like it really hot!

The Jerk It Cuisine food truck was at my job today. The cook told me the Sweet & Savory Salmon was going to be the best salmon I ever tasted... He wasn't lying.

We got the Jerk Chicken with Rice and Beans. Lemonade on the side. The jerk chicken tasted good, but i believe they use a chainsaw to chop the chicken into pieces. It isn't cut at all at the joints or cartilage, which basically causes tons of small bone pieces all through the chicken, making the meal not very appetizing. Lemonade is good!

This is a very delicious and fresh Jamaican/Caribbean food on wheels. There were 7 trucks at the Pembroke Pines city festival yesterday and I did good with my choice. I'm very picky when it comes to food trucks and review carefully but this one exceeded my expectations. I ordered crab cakes, jerk shrimp, and jerk chicken with the side of festival, rice and peas and mac'n'cheese. Beautiful!! The shrimp is much more fresh and juicier than you can find in many seafood restaurants... cooked to perfection, and they put plenty of it. Crab cakes are delicious and I couldn't get enough so good. I loved their Jamaican lemonade, natural and thirst-quenching perfectly. The truck is clean, the food is freshly made, the service is great, convenient credit card payment by Square. Thumbs up. I will follow the truck to try the rest of the menu. I like it.

Went out today to Coral Springs park to the Pokemon festival instead found a really really good authentic Jamaican food truck with really great jerk chicken and pork. Will definitely be buying again when they are nearby. Staff was friendly and courteous.

The reviews looked solid, and honestly, anything with "BBQ" in the name is going to grab my attention, so I decided to give it a try. I'm really glad I did. I ordered the Large 2 Protein & 5 Cold Toppings bowl with smoked brisket and picanha, plus a smaller brisket bowl with 3 cold toppings. The toppings were fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you'd want in a quality bowl. The real standout, though, was the meat. The smoked brisket was incredibly tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. The picanha was equally impressive--it honestly made me want to head to a Brazilian steakhouse. You can tell they use high-quality meat and prepare it with care. Overall, this was a fantastic meal. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and excellent barbecue. Definitely a 5/5, and I'll absolutely be ordering from here again.

We really liked the brisket, nice burnt ends, moist and a good crust of seasoning. Their BBQ sauces are full of flavor and a little goes a long way. The atmosphere of the restaurant is chill with picnic tables and a small market to buy various sauces, side, dessert... They offer a happy hour for beer. I didn't try the happy hour but something to consider if you want a beer with your BBQ. They also offer Latin inspired bowls with rice/ veggies and choice of meat. Customer service has been great both times I went. In my opinion it's currently the best BBQ in the area. It's not your typical southern style but they offer typical pulled pork and brisket sandwiches. Wish they had collard greens! Get their app and you get $5 off your first order. Would be great to visit the restaurant with a group and gather around the picnic tables.

He even called ahead to ask about a reservation and was told it wasn't necessary. We arrived around 7 PM and the restaurant was packed. There were two dirty tables right in front of us, while we noticed three open booths in the back. After waiting for a while, we were told they needed to clean the tables before seating us. We eventually had to specifically ask if we could sit at one of the available clean booths in the back. After we were seated and had a few minutes to look over the menu, our waitress informed us that they were out of chicken, pulled pork, ribs, and fries. Considering we came specifically for the ribs for Father's Day, this was extremely disappointing. Overall, the experience felt poorly managed. I understand busy nights happen, but running out of multiple main menu items and having trouble seating guests made the evening frustrating. Unfortunately, this visit was a letdown.

The ambiance is that of a rock club venue, complete with a drum set and music memorabilia covering the walls. Rock music videos were playing, ironically none of which were from Iron Maiden, lol. Our server, a tall blonde woman, was excellent. She helped us with food recommendations and was very attentive and sweet. My husband and I ordered the same combo platter of ribs and pulled pork. I also ordered the in-house beer called Trooper and it was delicious. The ribs fell off the bone and I loved the light char on them and the spicy bbq sauce was excellent. The steamed veggies were average and the macaroni and cheese had a wonderful flavor, though the cheese sauce was a bit thin. The pulled pork was a bit dry but also had great flavor. My husband got the onion rings which were good but oddly had an Italian seasoning flavor to it, maybe would have paired better with a marinara sauce. The Texas toast was typical of its kind. Overall, we would definitely return for the ribs and to try other parts of the menu.

The atmosphere was rustic and down home. A perfect setting. The cashier/order taker was a gracious lady, polite, and attentive. The place had a pleasant, smoky aroma, just like it should. My wife and I went for the food, which is the central point of going to a restaurant. And the results met my expectations of the "Texas Standard". Brisket: full of flavor, with a nice smoky and all round taste. A minor issue was that it could have been a bit more moist. I say minor because this is the easiest thing to correct, by small adjustment. First rate. Spare ribs: excellent. My wife was over the moon. She is Brazilian and a veteran of Brazil BBQ. They were delicious. Chicken: perfectly smoked and moist. Even the white meat. There was a present bark on the surface, which added to the taste. Sausage: delightful. Obviously an individual, small batch recipe. Very flavorful and moist. Superb. Cornbread: My favorite style of light, natural flavor, not oily. Iced Tea: fresh taste and flavor. Not bitter. High quality. Sauces: regular and tangy. As good as I have ever tasted. Potato Salad: The best I have ever tasted in my 78 years. Different and unique. Coleslaw: Perfect. Cannot, in my opinion, be improved upon. Price: surprisingly fair. Very fair. I was pleasantly surprised at such Texas quality in Fort Lauderdale. We will be going to no other for BBQ.

The texture had that perfect balance of crispy edges and tender bite, with a deep smoky flavor that actually holds up like real BBQ should. You can tell these weren't treated like an afterthought menu item. They were rich, flavorful, caramelized perfectly, and absolutely loaded with BBQ flavor. The fried okra was also ridiculously good. Crispy, well seasoned, not greasy at all, and impossible to stop eating. The corn salad added the perfect fresh, slightly sweet contrast to the smoky and savory burnt ends. What really tied everything together though was the sauce setup on the table. The BBQ sauce was smoky and balanced, the hot sauce brought legit heat without overpowering the food, and the mustard sauce added that tangy Carolina-style kick that worked surprisingly well with the vegan burnt ends and okra. On top of the food, the whole experience was easy from start to finish. Ordering was simple, the staff was friendly and welcoming, service moved quickly, and there was plenty of free parking which honestly makes a difference at busy spots like this. Also pretty impressive to see a BBQ chain this size putting real effort into plant based options. They now have 14 locations across Florida, including this Coral Springs spot. Question for my fellow plant based food people: What other legit BBQ restaurants have real vegan main entrée options like this or solid jackfruit BBQ dishes worth trying? I really liked the baked beans which were heavy in cinnamon and reminded me of the kind of baked beans that many bbq places in the Tampa-area used to serve when I was living there years ago (people called them "cinnabeans").
