    Pulled pork sandwich with fries

We found this food truck at Plantation's Rock the Park event. There were many food trucks there, and Jerk It had a pretty long line and colorful boards with pictures of their food outside so we decided to give it a try. I ordered the beef brisket sandwich and my husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Both came on a sesame seed bun with French fries. The truck seemed clean and everything is made to order, so it takes a little while. Both of us felt the same about our sandwiches; good but not great. Both had good flavor, but were kind of fatty. The fries were good, and very hot so I knew they were fresh. I might try give Jerk It another try for the jerk wings or the chicken breast bowl.

My first food truck night experience in Hollywood and I just had to stop here first. They were very inviting and I knew we had to try their jerk cuisine. I ordered the jerk pork with rice and peas. The service was quick in having our order ready. The seasoning was perfect and the pork was so moist. Portion size was more than I expected. I also ordered the passion fruit lemonade which was refreshing and not too sweet. Looking forward too going back and trying more of their dishes!

Quite impressed with the flavors being served up from Jerk It food truck. They were visiting my apartment complex as part of our weekly food truck partnership. I ordered the Brisket Platter with rice and beans. The jerk sauce was delicious. Some of the best I've ever had. It complimented the brisket and didn't overpower it. The brisket was extremely tender and had some wonderful flavor with not too much fat. The rice and beans were solid as well. Good portion. A little pricey, but definitely worth it. They're menu consists of sandwiches, platters, side dishes and mango lemonade. Chicken, brisket, shrimp, pork, salmon are the proteins, rice, beans, mac and cheese, and french fries are the side dishes. Highly recommend if their in your vicinity, and you're craving some authentic jerk flavor.

Great!!!!! Jerk chicken and the sauces all 5 of them are fantastic. The rice was lackluster but man that chicken had all the aroma and flavor and it was great to dip each bite into a different sauce like jerk bbq, hot jerk, spicy jerk, and pepper sauce if you like it really hot!

The Jerk It Cuisine food truck was at my job today. The cook told me the Sweet & Savory Salmon was going to be the best salmon I ever tasted... He wasn't lying.

We got the Jerk Chicken with Rice and Beans. Lemonade on the side. The jerk chicken tasted good, but i believe they use a chainsaw to chop the chicken into pieces. It isn't cut at all at the joints or cartilage, which basically causes tons of small bone pieces all through the chicken, making the meal not very appetizing. Lemonade is good!

This is a very delicious and fresh Jamaican/Caribbean food on wheels. There were 7 trucks at the Pembroke Pines city festival yesterday and I did good with my choice. I'm very picky when it comes to food trucks and review carefully but this one exceeded my expectations. I ordered crab cakes, jerk shrimp, and jerk chicken with the side of festival, rice and peas and mac'n'cheese. Beautiful!! The shrimp is much more fresh and juicier than you can find in many seafood restaurants... cooked to perfection, and they put plenty of it. Crab cakes are delicious and I couldn't get enough so good. I loved their Jamaican lemonade, natural and thirst-quenching perfectly. The truck is clean, the food is freshly made, the service is great, convenient credit card payment by Square. Thumbs up. I will follow the truck to try the rest of the menu. I like it.

Went out today to Coral Springs park to the Pokemon festival instead found a really really good authentic Jamaican food truck with really great jerk chicken and pork. Will definitely be buying again when they are nearby. Staff was friendly and courteous.

As a customer I could have been given the option. The person could have just said it's not as good but it's your choice. I was never offered a chance to speak with a manager, I was just told NO. Pile High Nachos with Birria -- The Sloppy Nacho -- 3/10 (2 Stars on Yelp)…read more I only review nachos. Not the room, not the drinks, just the plate. Papamigos gave me the best looking plate of nachos I've ever been served, and one of the worst to actually eat. It arrives as a mountain, and credit where it's due, nobody has ever set a better looking plate of nachos in front of me. Colored chips, birria up the sides, drizzle over the peak. It's a fiesta. It's genuinely beautiful. It's also called Pile High, which in hindsight was the menu warning me, and me ordering it anyway. Stupid Nacho Man. The thing about a pile is it has exactly one move: down. Every good thing, the fresh pico, the peppers that actually have real heat, all of it, is stacked on the summit. So you get three glorious bites of a real nacho and then you're off the mountain and into the badlands. Dry chips on one side, cold cheese swamp on the other, no peppers in sight. The party was on top and you already ate it. Depression sets in. Somewhere under all that queso is a chip that knows what happened to Jimmy Hoffa. Here's the real tragedy. The queso is actual flowing nacho cheese, and there is an absolute ass load of it. Nineteen plates I've spent begging South Florida to use real nacho cheese, and Papamigos finally did, then dumped so much on that it drowned the pico, the peppers, and the meat. I'm not saying the kitchen was in a hurry (I was the only person there), I'm saying someone back there said "f*** it" like John McClane going off the Nakatomi roof and dumped an ocean of molten cheese on this thing. I am not exaggerating for effect. I wish I were. And the whole thing came out room temperature. Only two things on that plate were hot, the queso and the meat, and they had to warm an entire mountain by themselves while a pile of cold chips mugged them for their heat. They lost that battle faster than France surrendering (in about two minutes.) The shredded cheese at the bottom never melted at all, because it was sitting under a cold pile on a plastic boat you can't exactly slide into an oven. Check the photos, there's a queso stalactite hanging off the rim. It formed on the way to the table and was still hanging there twenty minutes later, purely out of spite. Then there's the meat. I ordered the birria. Five dollar upcharge, it's on the receipt. What showed up was pot roast. Gray, no chile, no adobo, none of what makes birria birria. Check the photos and compare it to a real one. I'm not going to tell you what's in anybody's head. I'll just say the menu said birria, the receipt charged me for birria, and the plate said pot roast. You do the math. Credit where it's due, the server took twenty percent off without me asking. Though the birria upcharge was five bucks and the discount was four-forty, so I still paid for the pot roast. Just at a slight discount. I did not finish it. I've left plates before when they beat me on sheer volume, and honestly that's a compliment. This one I walked away from with room left in the tank. I left still hungry, and I would rather be hungry. Twenty-two dollars for a third of a plate. Four peppers a fire does not make. This dish is a dumpster fire without the heat. All of it is fixable. Heat the chips, layer it instead of stacking it, ease up on the queso, and put actual birria on the birria. Until then, I'm giving this a hard pass. -- Florida Nacho Man

I've been coming to this establishment for quite some time, and it has always been my go-to place for burgers. Unfortunately, today's dining experience will be my last. We arrived shortly after 5 p.m. and the restaurant was nearly empty, with only one occupied table inside and one outside. We sat at a four-top because my elderly mother was with us. Almost immediately, we noticed that the music was so loud we could barely hear the person sitting next to us. When the waitress came to take our drink order, we politely asked if the music could be lowered--not turned off, just lowered enough so we could have a conversation. She looked at us somewhat strangely, said okay, and walked away. When she returned with our drinks, we asked again about the music. Her response was, "I thought they did." We decided to stay, order our food, and try to enjoy our meal. When our appetizer, the onion ring tower, arrived, the music was still blaring. We asked once again if it could be turned down just a little. This time we were told that the manager had texted the owner, and the owner said the music needed to remain at that level. At that point, the server did offer to move us to another area of the restaurant, which we appreciated. The music was somewhat better there, so we stayed. Unfortunately, the food was just as disappointing. The burgers arrived cold, and the bacon tasted as though it had come straight from the refrigerator. The cheesesteak bun was burnt, and the meat filling was lacking. This was nothing like the food we had enjoyed here in the past. It's disappointing to leave a restaurant I've supported for years feeling that loud music was considered more important than the comfort of its customers. When a customer politely asks for the music to be lowered so they can have a conversation--especially when the restaurant is nearly empty--it seems like a reasonable request. Sadly, between the refusal to lower the music and the decline in food quality, we will not be returning. It's a shame, because this used to be one of my favorite places for a burger. When a restaurant is nearly empty shortly after 5 p.m., perhaps it's worth listening to what customers are telling you.
