It is indeed a pleasure to have Mo studio for our pre-wedding photography. We have chosen an option offering 3 different sets of clothing in two scenes. The scenes they recommend are impressively beautiful and breathtaking. The photographer is very professional and patient to guild us how to pose. Two assistants are also very helpful in the whole photographing. Although it took 8 hours and we were all exhausted after the work (in fact we were two hours later than expected finish time), the team did not express any complaints but even try to keep us relaxed as much as we can. I am so happy with how my family/maternity photos came out! I've wanted Mo as my wedding photographer back in 2018 but due to scheduling conflicts we were unable to book him. We were finally able to get a session in with him with my growing family in 2021 and I can't say how much it was worth it! (I even flew from the mid-west!) It is pricey but well worth every penny! Overall, I highly recommend and cannot say enough about how happy I am with everything. Mo and Cecilia were great to work with on the day of the shoot especially when you have a 20 month toddler running around! We did a photo shoot with Mo Studio in August 2017. We are both actually based in Dallas, TX, but we were looking for a photographer who could do an asian-style pre-wedding photo shoot. After some extensive searching, mainly on the west coast, we found that Mo Studio fit the description of what we were looking for the best. I spoke to Julia on the phone several times, to ask about pricing and scheduling, and she was quick to email me additional information not found on their website. Scheduling was easy with Julia. She was very accommodating to our schedules, as we would have to fly in for a weekend in order to participate in the photo shoot. While there wasn't any availability on the weekends for the current month when I called, she had open availability for the next several months during the weekends (NOTE: we had to make 2 appointments - one for the fitting and then one for the actual shoot, but they can accommodate you in one weekend). Julia was very organized and let us know beforehand what we would need to bring on our own (shoes, bra, etc.). When we arrived for the fitting, Julia was able to assist us in choosing both of our outfits very quickly. On the day of the shoot, be prepared! You will be there all day! But there was no wasted time. Kiki, the makeup artist, did hair and makeup for both of us (yes, even the groom!). She was super friendly and very chatty. The photo shoot itself was shot by the photographer, Mo, who was very fun to work with. Price-wise, Mo Studio is expensive; however, the level of service you receive and the all-inclusiveness (hair, makeup, outfits - all included!) of the package made it worth the cost. In addition, pricing is competitive with other places I called, some of which did not include the cost of hair, makeup, and outfits. Although the finished photos took a while to receive, they came out beautifully, and overall, we are very satisfied with our experience at Mo Studio and highly recommend them to anyone looking for pre-wedding photos! The whole team at the studio is professional, friendly and easy to work with. Mo the photographer is very creative and really works to give one-of-a-kind quality photos. He guides you through the photoshoot effortlessly and captures your best angles and moments without you even realizing it! He understands what styles works best and also gives suggestions during the shoots. Kiki (who did my flattering makeup) was also really nice, fun and friendly. When the photos came out it was so hard to choose because they were all amazingly fresh and beautiful.
