We discussed and confirmed a time first, and I thought the next step was paying the deposit. Their logic was: you must pay the deposit first before you even have the "right" to secure the time slot. As parents, coordinating schedules for babies is not easy. We need time to confirm naps, feeding schedules, parents' availability, etc. I completely understand requiring a deposit, but I genuinely didn't expect zero flexibility after hours of communication. Normal logic would be: confirm a workable time first then pay the deposit. Their policy was: pay first then maybe continue discussing the schedule. And this is not a cheap studio either: $600 for 15 photos. For that price, I expected at least some professionalism and empathy toward families with small children. Timeline: * 2:51 PM -- discussed the time, I replied "should work" * 5:08 PM -- I officially confirmed * 5:51 PM -- they replied: "No availability anymore" I spent two hours coordinating schedules. They took one hour to reply, and the final answer was simply: "No availability." At this point, I honestly feel like some LA businesses have become way too comfortable ignoring customer experience. read more

We just had our family mini session with Vlove this past Sunday and had such a pleasant experience there. I highly recommend this place. The photographer took some amazing photos and made all of us felt at ease. The studio is small but has everything needed for the photoshoot. It is clean and cute. The photographer and her assistant were both very friendly. They played with our kids, had toys to attract their attention and she captured some great smiles. My daughter is super shy and it's very difficult to get her to open up. When we first entered the studio, the photographer started danced with my daughter and tried to get her loosen up. I thought that was such a kind and nice gesture. My kids told us that they had a fun time there as if everything was a game. We haven't had a professional photo shoot in years because I had a traumatizing experience with another photographer who did not show up and we were waiting in the middle of a mountain. Horrific experience with the photographer Vicky Han. Went to take photos with my family and for my baby's 100th day on 9/23. According to her own account, final edited photos are delivered within 2-3 weeks. It has been almost two months and she has not delivered the final edited photos. She was not communicative and tried to deflect responsibility. She acts as though she's doing you, the customer, a favor by taking your money. She also has a habit of posting all her conflicts and drama with her customers on social media while inventing stories to make her look innocent. She decided to fabricate a story and posting it to her WeChat moments while sharing only portions of her own comments that corroborates her story. This should be telling on what type of person she is. We asked for a refund since our child would be 6 months old by the time she claims she can work on the edits and she refused. We are now taking her to small claims court on the basis of bad business! Believe all the bad reviews you read! Took my 6 months old to get her Chinese New Year photos done last Friday. She took a lot of photos and we got to pick 5 in which she photoshopped with text and background. The process was pretty quick, and it took a week to get the pictures back. The outfits provided were really cute however she does ask for 10-20% tip which I thought was a bit odd.
