Cesar comes from the back to meet us after no one else even spoke to us. Red Flag. There was a beautiful XT5 I liked, it was affordable less that $35,000 and good condition. Cesar was so close to closing the deal until..... We were using USAA for our financing and we wanted to make sure they were familiar. First they said we could take the vehicle.. ugh wrong. Cesar goes and gets some guy, Jim, Brian, I don't recall his name. We will call him Richard. Richard walks over, massive attitude, arguing with me over financing. My husband is outside looking at this vehicle mind you, and this guy is literally bullying me about how my financing paperwork was delivered to me. I calmly walk outside, get in my car, tell my husband what just happened. He walks in, takes back our financing paperwork and tells Cesar that Richard being a Richard just cost his a sale. He tried to talk about it and safe the deal, too little too late. Went to Lexus a week later, spent $50k, dealt with much better people, and got a beautiful car. Their loss. Certainly wasn't mine.

He had issues with it and took it back several times to get it fixed for several different issues. Not only did he charge to fix it but everything he said they fixed was not fixed at all. Was told he got a new ac compressor and lines put in so the ac would work and guess what that quit working. We told them the back tires were wearing out on the outside edge and that it needed an alignment and new tires. so he did put new tires on the back and said he did an alignment and wouldn't you know it happened again a few months later so that means he didn't do an alignment at all and charged him for it. And the reason he took it to him was bc it's AWD and it being so bad out of alignment when it goes over snow only the car feels like it's a damn boat on the water so it was very dangerous. And again remember this is a 16 year old kid that was supposed to be very close to them. I've seen the shady work they do on cars. Even putting an oil change sticker on and the oil wasn't even changed. We will never ever trust them again. Scam artists

My suggestion is to get in writing what you agree on and make sure they don't charge you for anything else with out agreeing to it. They never asked me about charging me this extra amount for tightening a nut. But upon arrival explained how important this nut was to tighten to justify the huge amount they charged for it. I looked it up on youtube and it takes about 10 seconds to tighten it.

The backstory here is I was getting my oil changed a couple of months back. The Goodwrench auto shop said my back brakes were getting low and if I didn't get the brakes replaced soon I would wear through the pads and do more damaged than I wanted to. So naturally I asked around and got reccomended to Sunset Auto. Dropped my car off in the AM, got a call mid day letting me know my brakes were just fine. He said they were far from replacement and I had nothing to worry about. Picked my car up expecting to pay a good service fee for them taking a look at the car...the fee was a lot less than I had expected. Good, hardworking, honest people. You can't ask for much more when you entrust someone to take care of your multi-thousand dollar investment. He could have gone ahead and replaced the brakes like I had asked him to. But he took a look at everything and gave me a straight answer. All my car repairs will now go to Sunset.
